    Modos de narrar, formas de conocer. Apuntes Eduardo Berti

    Based on the reflections of Walter Benjamin and Ricardo Piglia on the figure of the narrator, this article analyses the novels La sombra del púgil (2008) and Un padre extranjero (2016) by Eduardo Berti. If travel and research are forms of narration and modes of knowledge, this article studies how stories and knowledge circulate in both texts. The multiplicity of points of view does not create a zone of certainties but shapes a knowledge marked by silences, mystery and secrets. From the modes of knowledge accessed through the stories, the absent is glimpsed and desires emerge.  Keywords: secret, silence, narrator, experience, desire.A partir de las reflexiones de Walter Benjamin y de Ricardo Piglia sobre la figura del narrador, el presente artículo analiza las novelas La sombra del púgil (2008) y Un padre extranjero (2016) de Eduardo Berti. Si el viaje y la investigación son, a la vez, formas de narrar y modos del saber, se estudia cómo circulan las historias y los saberes en ambos textos. Más que crear una zona de certezas, las narraciones multiplican los puntos de vista y configuran un saber marcado por los silencios, el misterio y los secretos.     Aux pays des formes insolites : paysages botaniques et ordre naturel

    The primary mission of traveling botanists in the 18th century is to collect as many natural samples as possible to enrich the classificatory system on the one hand, and to highlight the usefulness of exotic flora on the other hand. This article will only focus on the first part of this project: we will show how certain naturalists are puzzled by an approach they find insufficient and oblivious to the affinities of plants as they manifest themselves in a given place, through a landscape which, better than any classificatory system, is capable of conveying the natural order.  Keywords: botany, Linné, Adanson, Commerson, île de France, systems, landscapes. La mission première des botanistes voyageurs, au xviiie siècle, relève de la collecte : il s’agit d’amasser autant d’échantillons naturels que possible afin d’alimenter l’entreprise classificatoire, d’une part, et de mettre en évidence l’utilité de la flore exotique, d’autre part.     Poésie et physiologie végétale au tournant des XVIIIème et XIXème siècles : pour une préhistoire de l’écologie des relations

    This article may be a step in the constitution of an environmental history of the relationships between science and poetry. The emergence of plant physiology at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries lead scientists to conduct poetic and formal research. Describing the essential link between plant organs and their environment means negotiating a new articulation between the scientific criteria of the emerging discipline and the criteria of poetry. Solutions are then sketched out which could respond to nowadays need to awaken a new interest in the interconnections between man and nature.  Keywords: plant physiology, poetry, poem, form, science, ecology, relationship. Cet article pourrait constituer une étape de la constitution d’une histoire “environnementale” des relations entre sciences et poésie. L’émergence de la physiologie végétale en tant que discipline, au tournant des XVIIIe et XIXe siècles, a entraîné, de la part de ses tenants, des recherches poétiques et formelles. Décrire le lien entre les organes des plantes et leur environnement a supposé de négocier, au sein des manuels et traités savants, de nouvelles articulations entre les critères de scientificité de la science émergente et des critères de définition de la poésie. Les représentants de la physiologie végétale ébauchent alors un certain nombre d’interrelations discursives et heuristiques qui pourraient aujourd’hui répondre à la nécessité de susciter chez le lecteur, par la forme même de l’ouvrage qui en traite, une attention renouvelée aux interrelations entre l’homme et la “nature”.  Mots-clés : physiologie végétale, poésie, poème, forme, science, écologie, relation.&nbsp

    Il contributo di Vespasiano da Bisticci all’"Oratio funebris" per Giannozzo Pandolfini

    In the fall of 1456 the Florentine Chevalier Giannozzo Pandolfini died. In addition to ritual ceremonies, the celebration of the deceased included sending consolatory epistles to the first-born Pandolfo Pandolfini and the “publication” of a funeral oration written by Giannozzo Manetti. The Oratio is the result of a particular collaboration between the humanist, who resided in Naples, and Vespasiano da Bisticci, a well-known Florentine bookbinder. The following article intends to study Vespasian’s contribution in the Oratio, both analysing its relationship with his Vite and looking at the collaborations Vespasian established with other contemporaries in drafting the commemorative work.  Keywords: Vespasiano da Bisticci, Giannozzo Manetti, Florence, Giannozzo Pandolfini, Oratio funebris. Nell’autunno del 1456 si spegneva il cavaliere fiorentino Giannozzo Pandolfini. La celebrazione del defunto, oltre alle cerimonie di rito, prevedeva l’invio di epistole consolatorie al primogenito Pandolfo Pandolfini e la “pubblicazione” di un’orazione funebre scritta da Giannozzo Manetti. L’orazione latina è il risultato di una particolare collaborazione tra l’umanista, residente a Napoli, e Vespasiano da Bisticci, noto cartolaio fiorentino. Il seguente contributo propone lo studio dell’apporto di Vespasiano all’orazione, l’analisi del rapporto con le Vite e, infine, uno sguardo sulle collaborazioni instaurate da Vespasiano con altri contemporanei per la redazione di opere a carattere commemorativo.  Parole chiave: Vespasiano da Bisticci, Giannozzo Manetti, Giannozzo Pandolfini, Firenze, Oratio funebris.&nbsp

    Vittorio Sereni e Alessandro Parronchi, itinerari e collaborazioni tra arte e poesia

    This essay aims to examine the collaboration between Vittorio Sereni and Alessandro Parronchi, exploring the successful convergence of their interests on multiple fronts: not only poetry, but also the figurative arts and the publishing sector. It particularly focuses on their collaboration which resulted in the creation of several travel writings for Pirelli Magazine between 1952 and 1958. In these car itineraries, the present evokes the past and the landscapes painted by the great Renaissance masters. The two poets’ shared passion for art would continue to bind them even in the following decade, resulting in the writing of ‘Expertise’ per Vittorio, a work in which Parronchi attempts to continue the dialogue that was abruptly interrupted by Sereni’s death.  Keywords: multiple authorship, letters, interartistic mediator, Pirelli magazine, travel literature. Il saggio intende illustrare aspetti meno noti di alcune collaborazioni tra Sereni e Parronchi, esplorando la felice convergenza dei loro interessi su molteplici fronti: non solo la poesia, ma anche le arti figurative e l’ambito dell’editoria. In particolare, si darà conto della collaborazione che tra il 1952 e il 1958 portò alla creazione di alcune prose di viaggio per la rivista Pirelli. Itinerari in automobile dove il presente rievoca il passato e i paesaggi dipinti dei grandi maestri del Rinascimento. Una passione comune per l’arte che legherà i due poeti anche nel decennio successivo e che porterà alla scrittura di ‘Expertise’ per Vittorio, opera con la quale Parronchi tenterà di dare seguito al dialogo interrotto dalla morte dell’amico.  Parole chiave: autorialità plurima, epistolari, mediatore interartistico, rivista Pirelli, letteratura di viaggio.&nbsp

    Modi e forme della collaborazione nei "Rabisch" dell’Accademia dei facchini della Valle di Blenio

    The article presents the ways and forms of collaboration within the Accademia dei facchini della Valle di Blenio and the Rabisch dra Academiglia dor compà Zavargna... (‘Arabeschi dell’Accademia del Compare Zavargna...’, Milan, Gottardo Ponzio, 1589). Although there are more than one hundred members in the facchinesque sodality, only fifteen of them actively participate in the drafting of the multilingual, anti-Classicist and anti-Tuscan sylloge. Giovanni Paolo Lomazzo is the creator and the main poetic voice. His other associates occupy a rather marginal role, which can be traced back to their recent induction into the academy and is aimed at endorsing the linguistic criticism expressed in the collection.  Keywords: Giovanni Paolo Lomazzo, Rabisch, Academies, dialect and literature, 16th century.Nell’articolo si discutono i modi e le forme della collaborazione all’interno dell’Accademia dei facchini della Valle di Blenio e dei Rabisch dra Academiglia dor compà Zavargna… (‘Arabeschi dell’Accademia del Compare Zavargna…’, Milano, Gottardo Ponzio, 1589). Sebbene nel sodalizio facchinesco vi siano oltre cento membri, solo quindici di loro partecipano attivamente alla stesura della silloge plurilingue, anticlassicista e antitoscana.     Pierrine Poget et les fondations de l’écriture

    This article focuses on Fondations (2017) and Warda s’en va (2021) by Pierrine Poget. It shows how the reparation of intimate wounds and the discourse on the world are both played and thwarted, pointing to a re-“foundation” of the autonomy of literature and to the modesty of Poget’s discourse on it. Several recent essays on contemporary literature and its ability to repair the world after giving up its self-referentiality (Gefen), to borrow the discourses and methods of knowledge (Demanze ), and to simply exist (Faerber) are mobilized to examine Poget’s work. This article favors the perspective of Jenny according to which literature speaks “of what is part of our personal experience without finding to be symbolized by any established knowledge”.  Keywords: Poget, Fondations, Warda, literature, contemporary. Cet article propose un commentaire de Fondations (2017) et de Warda s’en va (2021) de Pierrine Poget, qui montre comment la réparation des blessures intimes et le discours sur le monde y sont à la fois joués et déjoués, dans le sens d’une modestie du discours sur la littérature, et finalement d’une re-« fondation » de son autonomie. Il permet ainsi de questionner plusieurs tentatives récentes de compréhension de la littérature contemporaine, selon lesquelles celle-ci répare le monde, après avoir renoncé à son auto-référentialité (Gefen), emprunte les discours et les méthodes du savoir (Demanze), et d’abord existe (Faerber).     De la filología hispánica a la teoría literaria latinoamericana. Amado Alonso y José Sazbón, prologuistas de Saussure en América

    The Spanish critic Amado Alonso published in 1945, in Buenos Aires, the first translation into Spanish of Ferdinand de Saussure’s Cours de linguistique générale, preceded by a polemic prologue. Thirty-two years later, the Argentinian philosopher José Sazbón published Saussure y los fundamentos de la lingüística, a selection and new translation of texts by the Genevan, accompanied by an introduction. While Alonso framed his introduction of the Cours to the Hispanic world in Stylistic tradition, Sazbón did the same during the rise of poststructuralism. In this essay, I propose that these two contrasting receptions of Saussure’s work are coincidental in exemplifying the transatlantic circulation of knowledge and illustrate two essential poles of the same intellectual tradition: the emergence and consolidation of Latin American literary theory.  Keywords: Ferdinand de Saussure, Amado Alonso, José Sazbón, linguistics, Latin American intellectual history. El crítico español Amado Alonso publicó en 1945, en Buenos Aires, la primera traducción al español del Cours de linguistique générale de Ferdinand de Saussure, precedida de un prólogo polémico. Treinta y dos años después, el filósofo argentino José Sazbón publicó Saussure y los fundamentos de la lingüística, una selección y nueva traducción de textos del ginebrino acompañados de una introducción. Mientras que Alonso enmarcó en la estilística su introducción del Cours al mundo hispánico, Sazbón hizo lo propio durante el auge del postestructuralismo. En este ensayo propongo que estas dos recepciones, contrastantes de la obra de Saussure, son coincidentes al ejemplificar la circulación trasatlántica de los saberes e ilustran dos polos esenciales de una misma tradición intelectual: el surgimiento y la consolidación de la teoría literaria latinoamericana.  Palabras clave: Ferdinand de Saussure, Amado Alonso, José Sazbón, lingüística, historia intelectual latinoamericana.&nbsp
