Nutrition and Food Security for All
When producing food, it is crucial to take into account both the waste generated in the food chain as a result of environmental degradation and the food waste that could be otherwise consumed by members of society. Finding strategies to boost local and regional food production and consumption is also crucial for promoting sustainable availability, food security, and healthy diets. Other objectives include lowering animal illness rates and producing enough high-quality food in adequate amounts with little waste. Taking into account these ideas, this reprint presents 17 papers published by researchers from 16 different countries all over the world, including Brazil, Chile, China, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, the UK, Uruguay, and the USA. Due to the added value provided by all the works, the editors believe that this reprint can contribute to the knowledge on nutrition and food security from a global perspective, both for the scientific community and for populations all over the world, and that great steps can be made towards a better future in this context

Some of the authors of these papers are scientists working in well-known research centers in France, Italy, Lithuania, Croatia, Korea, South Africa, China, etc. We hope that the published works will have a positive impact, inspiring other researchers to further develop some of the topics covered in this reprint
In the face of rapid changes in modern societies, human and social sciences have to adapt to the new conditions resulting from the growing role of technology in our everyday life. The question “how to define nation” becomes fundamental. The authors of the publication – the second volume of the Pluralités Européennes series – attempt to answer it, analysing, among others, the dynamics of internet populism, new forms of civic engagement, philosophical challenges facing “digital society”, or social dynamics associated with the formation of the image of homo numericus.
Updates on Imaging of Common Urogenital Neoplasms
Urogenital neoplasms represent some of the most common malignancies. Advances in imaging have proved vital in early cancer detection and accurate tumor staging, as well as adequate treatment planning, monitoring of the disease, and enhanced surveillance of recurrences after treatment in patients with genitourinary cancers. The aim of this Reprint is to present the role of current imaging techniques, including ultrasonography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and fluorodeoxyglucose–positron emission computed tomography, in the follow-up of patients with urogenital neoplasms. The potential applications of novel imaging tools are also discussed. This Reprint contains 10 articles and deals with gynecologic malignancies, testicular tumors, renal masses, and urothelial neoplasms
The Electoral Consequences of Third Way Welfare State Reforms
In all advanced Western nations, policy-makers have implemented encompassing welfare state reforms in recent decades breaking with past welfare arrangements. In particular, social democracy engaged in significant policy change under the Third Way paradigm and broke with its traditional reputation on welfare that had built the ties with the core constituency in the 20th century. The Electoral Consequences of Third Way Welfare State Reforms: Social Democracy's Transformation and its Political Costs provides a comparative study of the electoral consequences of Third Way welfare state reforms. The book demonstrates that Third Way reforms went against the social policy preferences of social democracy's core voters and indeed produced an electoral setback for social democrats at the ballots. Moreover, and accounting for cross-national variation, the analysis shows that the nature of the setback is contingent on the electoral system and the party competition social democrats face when reforming the welfare state
