Arabic text correction using dynamic categorized dictionaries: a statistical approach
No full textThis paper describes an algorithm for categorizing Arabic text, relying on highly categorized corpus-based data sets, obtained from the Arabic Wikipedia by using manual and automated processes to build and customize categories. The categorization algorithm was built by adopting a simple categorization idea, then moving forward to more complex one. We applied tests and filtration criteria to end with the best and most efficient results that our algorithm can achieve. The categorization depends on the statistical relation between the input text and the reference (training) data supported by well defined Wikipedia-based categories. Our algorithm supports two levels for categorizing Arabic text; categories are grouped into a hierarchy of main categories and subcategories. This introduces a challenge due to the correlation between certain subcategories and overlap between main categories. We argue that our algorithm achieved good performance compared to other methods reported in the literature

No full textعقد المركز الفلسطيني لأبحاث السياسات والدراسات الاستراتيجية - مسارات مؤتمره السنوي الثاني في مدينة البيرة، يومي 17 و18 كانون الثاني/ يناير 2013 ،تحت عنوان »التجمعات الفلسطينية وتماثلاها ومستقبل القضية الوطنية «. وجاء عقد المؤتمر تتويجا لسلسلة من اللقاءات والاتصالات التشاورية بمشاركة العشرات من الشخصيات السياسية والأكاديمية والبحثية، و أفضت إلى تحديد العنوان الرئيسي للمؤتمر والمحاور المتفرعة عنه، ومنهجية إعداد أوراق العمل السياسية، والباحثين والأكاديميين المرشحين لإعدادها. وتركزت أوراق العمل والنقاشات الغنية خلال جلسات المؤتمر على دراسة العوامل الخارجية والداخلية التي تؤثر في تكريس واقع التجزئة، وتلك التي تخدم معالجة هذا الواقع، الأمر الذي تطلب دراسة تأثير المشروع الصهيوني الاستعماري الاستيطاني على تجزئة الشعب الفلسطيني من جهة، ومكامن الخلل والأخطاء والإخفاق في السياسات والبرامج الفلسطينية فيما يتعلق بالتصدي لواقع التجزئة، ومن ث م الانقسام، والتراجع في دور منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية كمؤسسة جامعة، وتقدم المشروع الاستيطاني وتراجع المشروع الوطني، لاسيما في ظل مسار أوسلو، من جهة ثانية، وطرح سياسات وخيارات استراتيجية بديلة قادرة على توحيد الفلسطينيين حول مشروع وطني جمعي من جهة ثالثة. ولتحقيق الغاية المرجوة في تحفيز التفكير الاستراتيجي الفلسطيني على طرح السياسات والبرامج القادرة عل ى تغيير المسار الذي أسهم بأبعاده المختلفة في تعميق الفجوات بين تجمعات الشعب الفلسطيني وإضعاف التمثيل الوطني وتراجع دور الحركة الوطنية، جاءت حصيلة أعمال المؤتمر ومنهجية إعداد أوراق العمل التي خضعت للمراجعة والتحكيم، لتنسجم من جهة مع تركيز مركز مسارات على اقتراح السياسات والبدائل التي تركز عل ى القضايا الراهنة، ومن جهة أخرى تحقيق أهداف المؤتمر السنوي الثاني في الدراس

CGA integration into IPsec/IKEv2 authentication
No full textIn IPv6 networks, two security mechanisms are available at the network-layer; SEcure Neighbor Discovery (SEND) and IP security (IPsec). Although both provide authentication, neither subsumes the other; both SEND and IPsec mechanisms should be deployed together to protect IPv6 networks.
However, when a node uses both SEND and IPsec,
the authentication has to be done twice, which increases
the burden on the node and decreases its performance. In
this paper, we propose an approach to enable them to work
together under the mediation of an Authentication Management
Block, where IPsec uses the public-private keys obtained
by SEND rather than negotiating its own authentication
credentials in order to save the time and facilitate
the IPsec authentication deployment. We implement and
evaluate our approach using ipsec-tools and DoCoMo SEND
