This research aims to examine how earnings management practices, board gender diversity, board size, board independence, foreign ownership, and media exposure influence the level of corporate carbon emissions disclosure (CED). A scientific observational design was employed using quantitative methods, relying on secondary data extracted from companies’ annual reports and sustainability reports. The study focuses on mining and transportation firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2021–2024. The sampling was conducted through a purposive sampling method, resulting in 34 companies selected as the units of analysis. Empirical evidence reveals that earnings management has a positive and significant association with carbon emissions disclosure. This indicates that firms tend to enhance the transparency of their environmental reporting as a legitimacy tool, particularly when their financial reporting practices are suspected of involving earnings management. Meanwhile, the variables of board gender diversity, board size, board independence, foreign ownership, and media exposure demonstrate no significant influence on carbon emissions disclosure. These findings suggest that corporate governance mechanisms and media pressure have not yet been sufficiently effective in driving companies in Indonesia to be more transparent in revealing environmental information
Analisis Kelayakan Finansial dan Risiko Usahatani Greenhouse Bunga Potong Krisan di Kecamatan Tutur Kabupaten Pasuruan
East Java Province is one of the largest chrysanthemum flower production centers in Indonesia, with productivity increasing significantly in the 2019-2023 period, supported by ideal climate conditions and soil fertility. The objectives of this study were to: (1) analyze the financial feasibility of chrysanthemum farming with a greenhouse system, (2) analyze the risks of production, prices, and income of chrysanthemum farming with a greenhouse system in Tutur District, Pasuruan Regency, (3) Determine the efforts made by farmers to overcome risks. The sample of this study were chrysanthemum farmers who planted using greenhouses in Tutur District, Pasuruan. The number of respondent farmers in this study was 53 farmers. Data analysis used a descriptive analysis approach and risk analysis using the coefficient of variation. From the results of this study, information was obtained that the feasibility level of chrysanthemum farming had an R/C ratio of 1.23 with a total income of Rp1,054,110,377/Ha/year. The results of the risk analysis showed that the CV values were 0.20 for production; 0.09 for price; and 0.24 for income, respectively. This indicates higher fluctuations in production and income compared to price fluctuations. The higher income risk is a result of post-harvest damage and dependence on local markets or middlemen. However, each risk has a CV<0.5, indicating that this farming business is generally profitable.

Optimasi Hidrolisis Limbah Kulit Buah Gayam Menggunakan Metode Asam Menjadi Gula Pereduksi
The peel of the gayam fruit (Inocarpus fagifer) is an organic waste that has not yet been optimally utilized, despite containing a relatively high cellulose content of 35.24%. This cellulose has the potential to be converted into glucose as a raw material for bioethanol production. This study aims to optimize the hydrolysis process of gayam fruit peel waste into reducing sugar (glucose) using hydrochloric acid (HCl) as a catalyst, with the application of the Response Surface Methodology (RSM). The initial stage involved a delignification process using 8% NaOH solution at 80°C for 60 minutes to remove lignin. The delignification results showed a decrease in lignin content from 12.36% to 4.603% and an increase in cellulose content to 37.536%. Subsequently, hydrolysis was carried out using HCl with varying concentrations of 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 N, and reaction times of 90, 120, 150, 180, and 210 minutes. The glucose concentration produced was analyzed using a refractometer and UV-Vis spectrophotometry with the Nelson-Somogyi method. The highest yield of 25.3% was obtained at a concentration of 5 N and a reaction time of 150 minutes. Optimization with RSM indicated the optimum condition at 5 N HCl concentration and 156.67 minutes of hydrolysis time, with a predicted glucose concentration of 24.3668% and an actual yield of 4.7217% (47,217 ppm). The increase in hydrolysis time and HCl concentration was directly proportional to the glucose concentration until the optimum point was reached. Beyond this point, glucose concentration decreased due to degradation into by-products such as 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (5-HMF) and formic acid. The regression model obtained showed an R² value of 99.65%, indicating that the model was highly reliable for predicting the results. This study demonstrates that gayam fruit peel waste can be utilized as an alternative raw material for reducing sugar production through an optimized acid hydrolysis process

KAJIAN PROPORSI IKAN KEMBUNG (Rastrelliger kanagurta) DAN JAMUR TIRAM (Pleurotus ostreatus) TERHADAP KARAKTERISTIK FISIKOKIMIA DAN SENSORI BAKSO IKAN DENGAN PENAMBAHAN BUBUR RUMPUT LAUT
Indonesian people have long been familiar and liked meatball products. However, beef-based meatballs contain relatively high levels of saturated fatty acids and cholesterol, which are risk factors for various diseases. Therefore, an alternative to beef is needed, such as Indian mackerel (Rastrelliger kanagurta). Indian mackerel is a type of fish rich in animal protein and low in fat, while the use of oyster mushrooms contain plant-based protein and dietary fiber, which can enhance the nutritional value of fishballs. Seaweed contains hydrocolloids that have the ability to bind water, stabilize, and form gels, making it a necessary additive to improve the chewy texture of fishballs. This study aimed to determine the effect of different proportions of Indian mackerel and oyster mushrooms combined with the addition of seaweed paste on the physicochemical and sensory properties of fishballs. The research employed a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a two-factor factorial pattern and three replications. The first factor was the proportion of Indian mackerel to oyster mushrooms (90:10, 70:30, and 50:50). The second factor was the type of seaweed used Eucheuma cottonii, Gracilaria sp., and Ulva lactuca. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) at a 5% significance level, and when significant interactions were observed, further testing was conducted using Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the 5% level. The best treatment was obtained with the 90:10 proportion of Indian mackerel to oyster mushrooms and the addition of Eucheuma cottonii seaweed poridge, which yielded the following results: moisture content of 73.11%; ash content of 1.45%; protein content of 12.44%; fat content of 2.05%; carbohydrate content of 10.94%; crude fiber content of 4.07%; emulsion stability of 99.31%; chewiness of 887.95 gf; and hardness of 1229.62 gf. Sensory evaluation scores were as follows: salty taste 3.27; savory taste 3.73; umami taste of fish 4.20; seaweed flavor 2.13; fish aroma 4.07; seaweed aroma 1.87; cream color 4.27; brown color 0.73; green color 0.40; chewiness 4.33; and hardness 1.53
