    This study examines shoreline changes in the Pulau Merah area, Banyuwangi, a coastal region with high dynamics influenced by waves, tides, ocean currents, and human activities that potentially trigger both erosion and accretion. The background of this research is based on the importance of monitoring coastal conditions to maintain ecosystem balance, protect community settlements, and ensure the sustainability of tourism, which is the main attraction of Pulau Merah. The literature review indicates that the use of Landsat 8 satellite imagery and Geographic Information System (ArcGis) technology with the Euclidean Distance method is an effective approach to detecting shoreline changes spatially and quantitatively. The research method utilized secondary data in the form of Landsat 8 imagery for the 2015–2025 period, along with primary data obtained from field surveys to verify the actual conditions at the study site. The analysis was conducted through shoreline digitization, distance measurement of changes along 20 observation transects, and the development of thematic maps and shoreline shift graphs. The results of the study show significant variations in shoreline changes, with the greatest erosion reaching –107.30 m on Transect 3 in 2016 and the highest accretion of +69.15 m on Transect 3 in 2023. These changes were driven not only by ocean waves, tides, and currents, but also by human activities around the coast. Furthermore, the mapping results reveal that shoreline changes impact the coastal ecosystem, such as disrupting the habitat of coastal biota, and pose risks to the economic and tourism activities of local communities who rely heavily on the preservation of Pulau Merah beach.     Households in Lamongan City have not yet achieved prosperity in 2022 to 2023. Mantup Subdistrict is a subdistrict with a large number of farming households whose welfare has not yet been achieved. Income diversification is one strategy for achieving household welfare. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze the level of income diversification, food security, and the relationship between income diversification and food security in farming households in Mantup Subdistrict, Lamongan Regency. The results show that farming households have implemented income diversification at low and medium levels, the majority of farming households have also achieved food security, and it was found that there is a relationship between income diversification and food security, meaning that if income diversification increases, food security will also increas

    Inheritance in Islamic law regulates the transfer of property and responsibilities from the deceased to their legal heirs. One of the main requirements for heirs according to Article 171 of the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI) is that they must be Muslim. Therefore, a child who renounces Islam automatically loses their inheritance rights. This is in accordance with the hadith of the Prophet, which states that Muslims cannot inherit from non-Muslims, and vice versa. However, practice in Indonesia does not always align with this rule. In the Surabaya Religious Court Decision No. 554/Pdt.P/2023/PA.Sby, the judge actually awarded a share to an apostate child through the mechanism of wasiat wajibah (mandatory bequest). This ruling has sparked debate, because on the one hand it is considered to provide social justice for the family, but on the other hand it conflicts with Islamic law. In fact, this decision has the potential to become jurisprudence that can be used as a reference in similar cases in the future. This situation raises fundamental questions about the consistency of the application of Islamic inheritance law in Indonesia, as well as how judges balance the aspects of sharia with a sense of social justice. Therefore, this research is important to examine the legal position of apostate heirs and the judges' considerations in making such decisions, so that inheritance law can be applied fairly, consistently, and beneficially.     Understanding customer behavior is essential to support the sustainability of the property business. This study aims to segment the customers of PT XYZ based on their installment payment patterns using the X-Means Clustering algorithm. A total of 9,615 transaction records were integrated into 386 customer profiles and analyzed using selected features that represent individual buyer characteristics, such as the number of late payments and payment status. X-Means was chosen due to its computational efficiency in forming clusters. The Clustering process resulted in third clusters. Cluster evaluation was conducted using three metrics: the Silhouette Score 0.606, Davies-Bouldin Index 0,538, and Calinski-Harabasz score 472.924, indicating that the cluster separation is reasonably good. The Clustering results revealed distinct customer patterns, including those who make a single full payment, those with outstanding balances, and those with frequent payment delays. These diverse customer characteristics can be leveraged to design targeted communication strategies, optimize the billing process, and enhance overall customer relationship management, ultimately supporting the company’s business growt

    Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) is one of the horticultural commodities with high economic value and increasing market demand. However, tomato production in recent years has often been constrained by limited growing media and insufficient nutrient availability. The use of eco-enzyme, a fermentation product of organic waste containing growth hormones, enzymes, and organic acids, has the potential to serve as an environmentally friendly alternative to improve plant growth and yield. This study aimed to analyze the interaction between growing media composition and eco-enzyme concentration, as well as to determine the effect of each factor—growing media composition and eco-enzyme concentration—on the growth and yield of tomato plants. The experiment was arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two factors: growing media (soil; soil:rice husk charcoal 1:1; soil:cow manure 1:1; soil:rice husk charcoal:cow manure 1:1:1) and eco-enzyme concentrations (0, 1, 2, and 3 ml/L), each with three replications. Eco-enzyme was applied weekly until 63 days after transplanting, and the data were analyzed using an F-test at the 5% level, followed by LSD at the 5% level when significant differences were found. The results showed that the interaction between growing media composition and eco-enzyme concentration had a significant effect on tomato growth and yield, including plant height, fruit set, fruit number, and total fruit weight. Single factor treatment of growing media significantly affected plant height, leaf number, stem diameter, flowering age, flower number, fruit number, and fruit weight. Single factor treatment of eco-enzyme concentration also significantly affected plant height, leaf number, stem diameter, flower number, fruit number, and fruit weight.     Soil erosion is a major environmental issue that threatens agricultural productivity, particularly in areas with intensive land use and diverse topographic conditions. Beji Sub-district, Pasuruan Regency, has been experiencing land degradation due to land conversion and agricultural intensification, which increase the risk of soil erosion. However, quantitative information on erosion rates under different land uses in Beji Sub-district remains limited, making it difficult to formulate appropriate conservation strategies. This study aimed to estimate soil erosion rates, erosion hazard levels (TBE), and the erosion hazard index (IBE) under various land uses in Beji Sub-district. The research applied the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE), which integrates rainfall erosivity (R), soil erodibility (K), slope length and steepness (LS), vegetation cover (C), and land management practices (P). Rainfall data were obtained from NASA POWER satellite records, while soil physical and chemical properties were analyzed in the laboratory. The estimated erosion rates were then compared with the Tolerable Soil Loss (TSL) to assess erosion hazard levels. The results revealed that erosion rates varied considerably across land uses, ranging from very low to very high categories. Upland fields on steep slopes recorded erosion values that far exceeded the TSL, with IBE classified as High to Very High. Regression analysis indicated that slope length and steepness (LS) and land management practices (P) were the most influential factors, while vegetation cover (C) played a crucial role in reducing soil loss. These findings highlight the urgent need for integrated soil and water conservation practices in Beji Sub-district. Conservation strategies should include vegetative measures such as cover crops and intercropping systems, as well as mechanical approaches including terracing and contour ridges, to ensure sustainable agricultural productivity in erosion-prone areas

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan model regresi logistik dan artificial neural network dalam memprediksi financial distress pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2022-2024. Variabel prediktor dalam penelitian ini adalah Return on Asset (ROA), Debt to Asset Rasio (DAR) dan Current Ratio (CR). Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling dan diperoleh 183 perusahaan. Data didapat melalui IDX, kemudian diolah menggunakan perangkat lunak Python. Kinerja kedua model diukur menggunakan metrik sensitivity (recall). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model regresi logistik mengungguli artificial neural network dalam memprediksi financial distress pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2022- 2024, ditandai dengan nilai sensitivity yang lebih tinggi

    This educational game development based on interactive digital narrative presents an innovative approach in delivering Sunan Kalijaga's preaching values. The UML method was applied to design branching storyline that enables players to explore three different preaching paths: radical, liberal, and moderate. The development process followed GDLC framework with technical implementation using Unity Engine and C# programming. Evaluation was conducted through trials involving 20 junior high students using GUESS-18 questionnaire and comprehension tests. Results show user satisfaction rate of 79.1% in the Good category, along with 15% improvement in understanding preaching values. These findings confirm that educational games with interactive digital narrative approach are effective as engaging and relevant learning media for young generation in studying local wisdom of Islamic heritage in Nusantara

    Increasingly fierce business competition is drives companies to develop effective strategies to retain their customers and sustain their products in the market. Repurchase intention is one such strategy that can be implemented because it reflects customer loyalty. The level of satisfaction with a product plays an important role in generating the desire to repurchase. Consumers who are satisfied with the goods or services they have purchased in the past are more likely to intend to make repeat purchases in the future. This study aims to analyze the influence of Brand Awareness, Product Quality, and Price Fairness on Repurchase Intention. The approach used is a quantitative approach with an associative research type. Sampling was conducted using a purposive sampling technique and the Slovin formula. The respondents were Surabaya residents aged at least 20 years who had purchased and consumed Fore Coffee products at least twice. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed via Google Form. The data analysis techniques used in this study included validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The research results indicate that Brand Awareness, Product Quality, and Price Fairness simultaneously influence Repurchase Intention at Fore Coffee coffee shops. These three variables also partially influence Repurchase Intention. This is supported by the results of the coefficient of determination test, which shows that the Repurchase Intention variable is largely influenced by Brand Awareness, Product Quality, and Price Fairness, while the remainder is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.     This work explores the production of biodiesel from off-grade crude palm oil (CPO) by employing calcium oxide (CaO) modified through impregnation with ammonium carbonate ((NH₄)₂CO₃) as a solid base catalyst. Incorporating ammonium carbonate notably altered the physicochemical characteristics of CaO; the untreated material possessed a surface area of only 8.242 m²/g, whereas the impregnated catalyst reached 96.390 m²/g, supplying a substantially larger number of accessible catalytic sites for transesterification. The biodiesel generated under the tested operating conditions met key fuel quality indicators, with flash points exceeding 180 °C, acid numbers between 0.2 and 0.3 mg KOH/g, and kinematic viscosity values ranging from 3 to 7 mm²/s. The maximum yield, 89.03%, was achieved using 2.5 wt% catalyst and a reaction duration of 3.5 hours. The fuel also exhibited a cetane number above 65, reflecting strong ignition behavior and favourable combustion performance. Overall, the findings show that CaO impregnated with (NH₄)₂CO₃ considerably improves the catalytic efficiency of the transesterification process and allows off-grade, high-FFA CPO to be converted effectively into biodiesel. This approach presents a technically feasible and potentially more cost-effective and sustainable method for producing biodiesel from lower-quality palm oil resources
