BUDIDAYA TANAMAN TERONG (Solanum melongena) DI BTKD BALAS KLUMPRIK
The Internship Program (Kuliah Kerja Profesi/KKP) was carried out at BTKD Balas Klumprik, Surabaya, focusing on the cultivation of eggplant (Solanum melongena). This activity aimed to enhance students’ knowledge and practical skills in agricultural technology, particularly in the management of horticultural crops. The methods implemented included nursery preparation, land management, planting, maintenance, pest and disease control, harvesting, and post-harvest handling. The results showed that structured cultivation techniques contributed to optimal plant growth and productivity. Through this program, students gained valuable experience in applying theoretical knowledge into practice and developed competencies in sustainable crop cultivation. Overall, the internship activity provided significant insights into eggplant cultivation practices and their potential contribution to agricultural development
Biosintesis Nanopartikel ZnO Menggunakan Ekstrak Daun Tanaman Jagung (Zea mays L.)
Nanoparticles are particles at the nanometer scale, approximately 1 to 100 nm, that can be synthesized using various methods, one of which is the biological method. The biosynthesis method can be carried out using organic materials that contain antioxidant compounds that serve as bioreductors. The requirement for choosing a bioreductor is that it must have -OH groups attached to secondary carbon atoms, which can bond with metal ions to form metals, while the compounds with -OH groups themselves will be oxidized. The bioreductor in this study used extracts from corn leaves. Subsequently, the extract was synthesized with a precursor solution of Zinc Nitrate Hexahydrate to form ZnO nanoparticles. The SEM results from the precursor concentration sample of 0.3M and calcination temperature of 700˚C show particle morphology in a hexagonal shape. The EDX analysis results indicate that the sample's composition of ZnO nanoparticles consists of 76.43% atomic weight Zn and 23.57% atomic weight O. The XRD results on the sample with a precursor concentration of 0.3M at a calcination temperature of 300˚C showed that the sample was not pure ZnO, while at a calcination temperature of 700˚C, the sample indicated pure ZnO with an elemental composition of 80.3% atomic weight of Zn and 19.7% atomic weight of O. The crystal diameter size from the XRD analysis on the sample with a precursor concentration of 0.3M at calcination temperatures of 300˚C and 700˚C were 40.8564 nm and 31.7203 nm, respectively. The crystal density from the XRD analysis on the sample with a precursor concentration of 0.3M at calcination temperatures of 300˚C and 700˚C had the same value of 5.68 g/cm3, in addition, both samples had the same crystal system, which is hexagonal zincite

Pengaruh Variety Seeking, Dissatisfaction, dan Lifestyle Terhadap Brand Switching Smartphone Android ke iPhone (Studi Pada Mahasiswa UPN "Veteran" Jawa Timur)
The intense competition in the smartphone industry in Indonesia requires companies to continuously innovate in order to maintain consumer loyalty and prevent brand switching. The phenomenon of brand switching, particularly from Android to iPhone, is influenced by various psychological and social factors. This study aims to analyze the influence of Variety Seeking, Dissatisfaction, and Lifestyle on brand switching among students of UPN "Veteran" Jawa Timur. This research employs a quantitative method with a causal associative design. The sample consists of 100 UPN "Veteran" Jawa Timur students who have switched from Android to iPhone, selected using purposive sampling techniques. Primary data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS software. The findings reveal that the three variables significantly affect brand switching, both collectively (simultaneously) and individually (partially). The adjusted coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) shows that these factors collectively explain 40.2% of the variation in brand switching decisions. Further analysis indicates that Variety Seeking is the most dominant factor, contributing 47.38%, followed by Dissatisfaction at 40.24%, and Lifestyle at 12.38%. Based on these results, the desire to seek new experiences emerges as the primary driver of brand switching, strengthened by dissatisfaction with previous products and validated by lifestyle compatibility
Pemberdayaan UMKM Melalui Strategi Branding dan Pelatihan Digital Marketing dalam Meningkatkan Daya Saing di Era Digital (Studi Kasus di Kelurahan Penjaringan Sari Surabaya)
UMKM memiliki peran strategis dalam memperkuat ekonomi lokal dan menciptakan lapangan kerja. Namun, rendahnya pemanfaatan teknologi digital dan minimnya pemahaman tentang strategi branding masih menjadi tantangan utama. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Penjaringansari, Surabaya tepatnya pada RW 03 untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pelaku UMKM melalui penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan dalam digital marketing dan rebranding produk. Metode pelaksanaan dirancang berdasarkan keluhan langsung dari para pelaku usaha, sehingga kegiatan yang dilakukan benar - benar menjawab kebutuhan pelaku UMKM. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan pelaku UMKM dalam membuat konten promosi, mengelola media sosial, serta memahami pentingnya identitas merek dalam pemasaran digital. Program ini membuktikan bahwa kolaborasi antara akademisi dan masyarakat dapat mempercepat adaptasi UMKM terhadap era digital. Dengan memahami karakter dan kebutuhan di tiap wilayah, program ini dapat direplikasi sebagai upaya memperkuat daya saing UMKM dan mendorong ekonomi yang stabil serta berkelanjutan.

PEMBUATAN PUPUK GRANUL DARI ABU RUMPUT GAJAH DAN UREA DENGAN PEREKAT TEPUNG TAPIOKA
Elephant grass remains underutilized, despite its ash containing high levels of potassium and its potential as a raw material for fertilizer production. This study aims to evaluate the effect of mixing ratios of elephant grass ash and urea with tapioca starch binder on fertilizer composition in accordance with quality standards, and to examine how binder concentration influences the characteristics of the resulting granules. The process began by burning elephant grass into
charcoal, followed by ashing in a furnace at 600°C for 4 hours. The ash was then mixed with urea and tapioca starch at various compositions. The variables included urea additions of 20%, 25%, 30%, 35%, and 40% (w/w), and binder concentrations of 6%, 7%, 8%, 9%, and 10% (w/w). The resulting granules were analyzed for N, P₂O₅, and K₂O content to determine the optimal formulation. The study found that granules with 20% urea met the standard of Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture Regulation
No. 209/Kpts/SR.320/3/2018, while granules with 10% tapioca binder had the longest disintegration time at 413 minutes. This research contributes to the development of sustainable fertilizers derived from elephant grass biomass waste
PRA RANCANGAN PABRIK CARBOXYMETHYL CELLULOSE (CMC) DENGAN METODE RUSSEL NELSON
A Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) plant with a capacity of 45,000 tons/year will be established at Modern Cikande Industrial Estate, Serang, Banten using the Russel Nelson method. The main raw materials are Cellulose (C₆H₁₀O₅), Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH), and Sodium Monochloroacetate (ClCH₂COONa), with Acetone (C₃H₆O) as a supporting solvent. The production process consists of raw material preparation, alkali treatment, etherification, and side reactions in two reactors, followed by solvent recovery, separation, drying, and packaging. Acetone recovery is applied to reduce production costs. Utilities include electricity from PLN and a generator set, and water supplied by PDAM Serang for process, cooling, boiler feed, and sanitation purposes. The plant will operate continuously for 330 days/year, 24 hours/day, on an area of 20,000 m², under a Limited Liability Company (PT) with a line and staff organization.

Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Perpanjangan Kerjasama Outlet PT Nitro Pratama Indonesia Menggunakan Fuzzy AHP-TOPSIS
The increasingly competitive business environment requires companies to make objective decisions, including determining the feasibility of extending partnerships with business outlets. PT Nitro Pratama Indonesia is a company engaged in nitrogen refilling and tubeless tire patching services, which operates in collaboration with various outlets in several regions. Until now, the process of deciding on outlet contract extensions had been carried out manually and tended to be subjective, which posed the risk of producing less optimal decisions. This thesis aimed to develop a web-based decision support system to support the decision-making process for outlet contract extensions in a systematic and measurable manner. The method applied was a combination of Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (Fuzzy AHP), which determined the weights of criteria based on their importance under uncertainty, and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), which ranked the alternatives based on their closeness to the ideal solution. The system was developed as a website to enhance its flexibility of use. The data involved 50 active outlets located in the Surabaya and Solo branches. The test results indicated that the criteria comparisons were accurate and consistent with manual calculations, with the final priority weights being Revenue (0.33), Rental Cost (0.26), Location (0.16), Accessibility (0.11), Competitiveness (0.08), and Operational Cost (0.06). The ranking of alternatives provided objective recommendations for contract extension decisions for outlets in the Surabaya and Solo branches. Black Box Testing confirmed that all system functionalities worked properly. The system proved to be relevant and effective in supporting outlet contract extension decision-making in an accurate, efficient, and objective manner
