No full textThe high rate of motorcycle theft crime in Surabaya has made most of the public worried, especially night workers. This phenomenon is also widely reported on media portals such as Instagram. Not only as an entertainment medium, Instagram also contains a lot of information related to local events such as the @aslisuroboyo account which reports on phenomena or events in Surabaya. The purpose of the study was to determine how the public's reception of information about motorcycle theft in Surabaya on the Instagram account @aslisuroboyo. The research method used was an in-depth interview which will then be explained using the reception method by Stuart Hall.
The results of the study show that the dominance of messages created by the Instagram account @aslisuroboyo makes the recipient of the message respond in a dominant hegemonic perception that agrees with the addition of personal security for the vehicle they own, on the other hand there are also other informants who are positioned as opposition to the reception of the information provided by the account on the Instagram media.

Get PDFKota Surabaya merupakan pusat perekonomian dan pembangunan di Jawa Timur. Hal ini berdampak pada meningkatnya jumlah penduduk yang tidak sejalan dengan pendapatan masyarakat. Harga hunian semakin tinggi serta lahan yang semakin sempit membuat masyarakat berpenghasilan rendah kesulitan untuk memiliki hunian yang layak. Kapasari Surabaya merupakan daerah permukiman kumuh di tengah kepadatan kota yang umumnya berdiri diatas lahan illegal. Oleh karena itu, hunian vertikal berupa rumah susun menjadi sebuah solusi dalam memberikan hunian, serta lingkungan yang lebih baik di lahan yang semakin terbatas. Hal ini dapat dicapai dengan pendekatan arsitektur bioklimatik yang mengedepankan efisiensi dan kenyamanan bagi para penggunanya dengan memaksimalkan respon bangunan terhadap iklim. PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM BAGI NASABAH YANG KEHILANGAN SALDO DALAM PENGGUNAAN APLIKASI LAYANAN BANK DIGITAL SEABANK
Get PDFTechnological developments have brought changes in banking services, including the emergence of digital banks such as SeaBank which provide convenience for customers. However, despite the convenience offered, using SeaBank services also presents risks for customers, one of which is losing their balance. This research aims to analyze the forms of losses experienced by customers as well as legal protection for customers who lose balances when using SeaBank digital banking services. This research method uses normative juridical research through a statutory regulation approach, case approach and conceptual approach. Data collection through literature studies compiled using descriptive analysis. The research results show that the forms of loss resulting from the loss of customer balances are material losses and immaterial losses, but the bank only provides responsibility in the form of compensation for material losses after a court decision states that the bank must be responsible for its actions. On the other hand, forms of legal protection for customers are provided through preventive and repressive efforts. Preventive protection is provided through statutory regulations and the SeaBank Agreement. On the other hand, repressive protection is provided through the imposition of sanctions to restore the situation, such as providing compensation to administrative sanctions.

Analisis Tingkat Kontribusi Teknologi pada Produksi Gula di Pabrik Gula Gempolkrep Mojokerto
Get PDFThe sugar industry in Indonesia plays an important role in supporting national food security. Sugar factories as one of the vital sectors not only produce sugar for domestic consumption but also contribute to the local economy and the agricultural sector, especially sugar cane. Gempolkrep Sugar Factory, which has been operating since 1849, is one of the sugar factories that faces challenges in terms of increasing production yields, as seen from the stagnation of yields around 8% in the last 6 years. This study aims to analyse the condition of the sugar production process, identify the contribution of technology to production, and determine the priority of improvements needed at Gempolkrep Sugar Factory. The research methods used are descriptive method to describe the production process, technometric method to assess technology contribution, and AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method to determine improvement priorities. The results of this study show that the sugar production process at Gempolkrep Sugar Factory consists of 7 stages, with the technology applied classified as semi-modern with a TCC value of 0.675. The main improvement priority that must be done is machine modernisation with an AHP score of 0.473 which is focused on improving the IoT-based monitoring system with an AHP score of 0.460. The conclusion from these results is that implementing improvements based on existing priorities will help increase production yields and produce more consistent sugar products
Penerapan Design Thinking Pada Perancangan User Interface Prototype Aplikasi Screening Kesehatan Pekerja di PT Petrokimia Gresik
Get PDFThe application of digital technology in the worker health screening process is an important need in the industrial work environment, especially in supporting the effectiveness and efficiency of the OHS medical team's work. This research aims to design a user interface for the AppSheet-based worker health screening application using the Design Thinking approach. This method was chosen because it is centered on user needs and is able to produce innovative solutions through the stages of Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Testing. Data collection was conducted through interviews and observations of five respondents from the OHS medical team and five department representatives. Assessment of the design was carried out using the usability testing method, with efficiency, effectiveness, and System Usability Scale (SUS) parameters. The results showed that the Design Thinking approach was able to produce an application interface that meets user needs, improves understanding of workflows, and minimizes recording errors. The developed application not only supports the digital health evaluation process, but also has the potential to reduce administrative burden and improve the quality of medical services at PT Petrokimia Gresik

Namun, fasilitas yang mewadahi aktivitas seni dan budaya yang mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan masih terbatas. Seiring dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan ruang publik yang dapat mendukung perkembangan industri kreatif, diperlukan solusi yang mampu mewadahi kreativitas masyarakat serta mengintegrasikan seni, budaya, dan ekonomi dalam satu ruang kolaboratif. Oleh karena itu, dirancang Jombang Eco Creative Park, sebuah taman kreatif yang bertujuan untuk mewadahi aktivitas seni dan budaya di Kabupaten Jombang dengan mengedepankan prinsip keberlanjutan lingkungan.
Perancangan Jombang Eco Creative Park mengusung tema “Nature and Culture in Harmony” dengan pendekatan Eco-Cultural Sustainable. Pendekatan ini mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai budaya dan karakter lingkungan lokal melalui pemanfaatan material lokal, serta penggunaan elemen arsitektur yang merespons iklim dan lingkungan sekitar. Desain ini menggunakan metode arsitektur pragmatis. Metode ini dipilih untuk menciptakan desain yang harmonis antara alam, budaya, dan inovasi arsitektur. Bangunan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi landmark baru yang tidak hanya mewadahi aktivitas seni dan budaya, tetapi juga meningkatkan potensi pariwisata Kabupaten Jombang serta memperkuat identitas budaya dan kreativitas masyarakat setempat.

ANALISI PERBUATAN MELAWAN HUKUM TERHADAP PELANGGARAN HAK SIAR PIALA AFC 2024 (Studi Kasus atas Putusan No. 998K/Pdt.Sus-HKI/2018)
Get PDFThis study discusses the legal aspects related to broadcasting rights violations in the 2024 AFC Cup broadcasting, by examining a case study of broadcasting rights violations at the 2014 World Cup based on Decision No. 420/PID.SUS/2020/PN.BDG. The main focus of this study is to identify whether unauthorized broadcasting can be categorized as an unlawful act and to evaluate the legal protection mechanism for exclusive broadcasting rights holders.
The research method used is a normative legal approach by analyzing various legal sources, including applicable laws and regulations. The results of the study indicate that unauthorized match broadcasts constitute a violation of copyright as regulated in the Copyright Law No. 28 of 2014 and the Broadcasting Law No. 32 of 2002. The 2014 World Cup case study also reveals challenges in law enforcement against illegal broadcasts that have a negative impact on broadcasting rights holders.
This study highlights the legal protection that can be provided to broadcasting rights holders, both in the form of prevention and legal action after the violation occurs. Legal steps that can be taken include criminal sanctions, civil lawsuits, and strengthening licensing rights. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of increasing legal awareness and strengthening regulations to overcome violations of broadcasting rights, so that it can support the broadcasting industry and protection of intellectual property rights more optimally.

Evaluasi Kepuasan Pengguna Aplikasi iPusnas Menggunakan Model End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS)
Get PDFiPusnas is a national digital library platform that provides free e-book access for the Indonesian people. The application is equipped with several features including book search, book lending, reviews, and a reader community. In its implementation, the iPusnas application experiences challenges related to user satisfaction. Some of the challenges faced include the non-functioning of several features, a system that often experiences errors, and slow system performance. This research seeks to assess user satisfaction with the iPusnas application by employing the End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) framework, which includes five core variables: content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness. Additionally, two supplementary variables—system speed and system reliability—were incorporated into the model. The study gathered data from 450 participants selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method, facilitated by SmartPLS version 4. The findings reveal that six variables—content, accuracy, format, ease of use, system speed, and system reliability—exert a significant and positive influence on user satisfaction with the iPusnas application. In contrast, although timeliness was statistically significant, it demonstrated a negative relationship with user satisfaction

Get PDFThe purpose of this qualitative study is to identify how the implementation of the Paris Agreement has been carried out by Indonesia in the period 2020-2024 through the Directorate General of Climate Change Control under the Ministry of Environment and Forestry as Indonesia's national focal point for the UNFCCC seen through the perspective of the concept of global governance. The concept has components in the form of structural involvement from the national and subnational scope and deliberation which will produce two other components in the form of substantive and behavioral results from multistakeholder. Indonesia, in the context of implementing the Paris
Agreement, needs to carry out the components contained in the concept of global governance to become a good governance. Until 2024, stakeholders in the implementation of the Paris Agreement from the national, subnational, to the community have shown behavioral changes as a result of the substantive results that have been issued by state actors involved in deliberation. At the local level, there are Masyarakat Peduli Api groups that are tasked with the prevention and management of forest and land fires. In addition, there is ProKlim which has a village-level scope managed by the Regional Government to increase community participation with the aim of reducing greenhouse gas
emissions in the region. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with document study as a data collection technique.
