Child labor in Mexico: explanatory factors
Using data from the National Child Labor Survey (ENTI) for 2019 and 2022, the probability that a child or adolescent is in a condition of child labor is analyzed. For each year, a logistic regression is estimated and explanatory variables such as sex, reason for work, size of locality, region, and whether they received financial support through a scholarship or other government program are considered. It is analyzed whether economic incentives contribute to reducing the possibility of performing prohibited, risky, or inappropriate work. For both years, the variables together are statistically significant; however, in 2019, economic support does not significantly determine the probability of the event occurring. In 2022, economic support influences a decrease in labor participation and all regions, with respect to the South, show a decrease in child labor. The regions that report the greatest marginal change for the last year are the North, Capital, and Pacific regions. Living in towns with fewer than 2,500 inhabitants also increases child labor participation, as well as the fact that children have to work to financially support their households

Designation of extraordinary support in the exercise of legal capacity in Mexico
Interdiction is the legal figure through which a person with a disability can exercise their rights, through a representative, but it is restrictive, because undermines the full exercise of the rights of people with disabilities, lacerating their independence and decision making, the problem is that, since there are no gradations in it, it completely replaces the rights of the person subject to interdiction, giving total control to his legal representative. It is argued that this figure is clearly detrimental to the rights of people with disabilities, especially when talking about equality, autonomy, freedom in decision-making and independence. The Mexican National Code of Civil and Family Procedures establishes a new procedure for the designation of extraordinary support in the exercise of legal capacity. The objective of this research is to carry out a comparative analysis of the figure of interdiction with the new procedure, using the analogical method and legal hermeneutics. From the review carried out, it can be concluded that the figure of interdiction is outdated and inadequate to address the situations of people with intellectual disabilities in Mexico and that the new procedure for extraordinary support is more in line with the terms of the Convention on the ..
Evolution of placelessness in the context of the urban edge
The purpose of the following reflection is to question the place, placelessness and the urban ontological elements on the urban edges. First, the concept of urban edge is analyzed and its ontological dimension is questioned based on the observations of Hiernaux (2006). And the evolution of the concept of placelessness addressed by the humanist geographer Edward Relph in 1976 and 2016 continues to be examined, under the reflections of Arjun Appadurai (2001), regarding the social and cultural changes triggered by phenomena such as globalization, migrations and the electronic mass media. It is concluded that it is important not to reduce the concepts, elements or problems considering that everything has an influence, not only local but also global, that today everything is mixed and that there is a diversity of imaginaries building the city
