Due to the accelerating growth of ageing population, such task is having extremely large economic and social effect worldwide. Prospective trends in the development of a manmade environment for elderly people and their relevance to the Bulgarian situation are investigated. The paper summarises also the results from research in regard to specific problems and opportunities for setting up an age-friendly living environment in Bulgaria and formulates the prospective directions of future development in the context of a resilient society

Нещо повече, държавата има компетентността да обяви определено деяние за престъпление и да предвиди наказание за него. В тази връзка се поставя въпросът за предоставената от държавите-членки компетентност на Европейския съюз в областта на материалното наказателно право след Договора от Лисабон и переспективите, очертани от него.
ABSTRACT: The right to punish is a right of the state. It is within the powers of the state to impose a punishment for a crime and to enforce it thereafer. Moreover, the state has the authrority to declare a certain act a criminal offence and to establish the punishment for it. eGovernment and eHealth in Bulgaria: Developments and Challenges
Get PDFThe purpose of this article is to briefly review the developments of the eGovernment and eHealth in Bulgaria since the start of their introduction. The paper studies and is limited to the strategic, regulatory, coordination, and organizational dimensions for a period of more than 20 years. The milestones of the eGovernment and eHealth progress are underlined and summarized by years. The paper also examines the state of the Bulgarian information society incorporating up-to-date statistical data and analysis as indicative measure for the progress and prospects. Besides the overview of this long-term process, we discuss some challenges. Further in-depth researches of the effectiveness and efficiency of electronic governance policies and practices in Bulgaria for the studied period could provide a significant contribution to the discussion of the entire public policy evaluation and its future developments
