Il Cineturismo: una "Passpartù" per il territorio cilentano tra realtà immaginaria e nuove prospettive
The Cineturism: a “Passpartù” for Cilento’s territory between imaginary reality and
new perspectives. - In the era of globalization, audiovisual communication was able
to influence (together with the models of life and consumption) the goals of the journey
with its invasiveness and depth of language, exalting local values, traditions and
culture of a destination, to the point of generating the so-called phenomenon of film
tourism. Cinematography, in fact, can have the value of a geographical narrative, but
also of a geographical agent, focusing on the relationship between man and the
environment and modifying "the conceptions and configurations of the territory"
(Terrone, 2010 p. 14). Hence, the contribution aims to illustrate the tendency of
Mediterranean realities to showcase their territories. The development of these
initiatives, in addition to creating indirect impacts (albeit difficult to measure), has
contributed to communicating the image and the culture of the places, to attract tourist
interests, to increase a sense of belonging of the local communities necessary to
guarantee their survival. However, the scientific literature maintains that of the
thousands of locations used by films and TV series, only a few have been able to
effectively capture the success obtained following the release of the film, for the
purpose of sustainable development of tourism in the area. Therefore, based on the
observation of valid assumptions for the transformation from location to destination,
it became necessary to examine which inescapable factors have accompanied the
process and how much their absence could cause the failure of film tourism. Through
this analysis the film production in the Cilento will be presented, to advance some
hypotheses on the ability of the specific experience to enhance the territories involved,
to the point to confer authenticity and increase tourist attractiveness
The climate of a prison, with its twisting effects, determines the ways in which inmates can communicate. The act of incarceration distorts the communicative processes used by prisoners to interact with others and themselves. Therefore, the action of imprisonment is manifested also in language: an imprisoned body has his floor taken away, thus the chance to speak to someone outside.
An accurate analysis of non-verbal behaviour cannot be separated from the examination of some individual variables of a prisoner and of the prison because they shape their meanings and functional aspects
Informatica archeologica e archeologia digitale. Le risposte dalla rete
The article illustrates the most recent achievements of archaeological computing, through a systematic survey that starts with the very name of the discipline, as used at national and international levels. The aim is to examine if the distinction made between ‘archaeological computing’ and ‘digital archaeology’ can really be helpful in framing the discipline in its theoretical and methodological evolution. From the synthesis made, the dominance of technological aspects on the theoretical and methodological approach clearly emerges. For some time now, technology has governed the three main areas of archaeological practice: field work, laboratory analysis and cultural heritage management and promotion. Two other important aspects are today rapidly gaining ground: ‘Communicating archaeological research’ and ‘European digital infrastructures for archaeology’. Finally, particularly significant is the sector of Digital Heritage or Heritage Science, which today seems to be the focus of all digital archaeology involvements
iGIS - Immersive GIS System
From the nineteenth century on, archaeological research has been conducted into the vicus of Bedriacum (2nd cent. BC-5th cent. AD), a minor centre in the territory of the Latin colony of Cremona near the modern town of Calvatone (CR). Different strategies and methods were used: iGIS was conceived and developed to become an immersive, scalable and fully customizable 3D-VR system that integrates 2D data and 3D models, ranging from MySQL online databases to Virtual Reality

Acrokeratosis Can Be a Warning Sign of an Underlying Malignancy
Introduction: Some cutaneous manifestations can be the first presentation of an underlying malignancy. These so-called paraneoplastic syndromes can sometimes be very subtle or strongly resemble other benign cutaneous diseases.
Aims: In this report, we want to emphasize the need for further investigation of eczema-like cutaneous presentations which develop at a later age and are recalcitrant to therapy. Exclusion of an underlying malignancy needs to be considered.
Patients and Methods: A 53-year-old man with thickening of the skin, more pronounced on the hands, feet and face, was diagnosed with classic nodular sclerosing Hodgkin disease based on cutaneous presentation.
Results: After two rounds of chemotherapy (adriamycin, bleomycin, vinblastine and dacarbazine), the cutaneous symptoms had disappeared. After six rounds of chemotherapy and 14 months of follow-up, the patient is still in remission without recurrence of the cutaneous symptoms.
Conclusions: Cutaneous symptoms recalcitrant to adequate treatment should raise suspicion and prompt further investigation to exclude an underlying malignancy. A multidisciplinary approach with the dermatology department can accelerate diagnosis and improve the patient’s prognosis
Implementing the environmental dimension of the EU’s urban agenda 2014-2020
This work illustrates the planning experience carried out
Sustainable Urban Development (SSUD), whose general
objectives are strengthening territorial cohesion and to
increase accessibility to the local resources. The SSUD
action plan, being funded with around 70 millions euro,
through which such objectives can be better achieved and
reciprocally integrated.
After a brief description of the territory targeted by the concept within the broader debate on sustainable
mobility. In section 3, a series of evidences are provided to identify the demand and potential for the development
the fourth section, after describing the expceted results
is suggested why in this area a greenway is the better
solution to increase accessibility to a broad range of natural resources and functions (natural sites, landscapes, cultural heritage, urban functions)
An Unusual Presentation of Metastatic Breast Carcinoma
Cutaneous metastasis from a carcinoma is a relatively uncommon phenomenon. Prompt diagnosis is crucial, as it will have future implications, particularly regarding prognosis and treatment. Skin metastases can be suspected and recognized earlier through physical examination than metastases in other organs or systems. However, they can be a diagnostic challenge due to the variable clinical presentation. This case highlights the importance of having a high index of suspicion for cutaneous metastases, especially in patients with a previous history of cancer
Olmesartan-Associated Enteropathy: An Unexpected Cause of Chronic Diarrhoea
Olmesartan-associated enteropathy is a rare cause of severe enteropathy that should be considered in the differential diagnosis of patients with unexplained chronic diarrhoea. It may be difficult to recognise because of its clinical and histologic similarities to other clinical entities. The authors present the case of a 72-year-old woman with a 6-month clinical history of non-bloody diarrhoea and weight loss. Discontinuation of olmesartan resulted in clinical and histologic recovery, and therefore, physicians need to be aware of olmesartan-associated enteropathy in order to avoid unnecessary testing. Although rare, it is considered an emerging and underdiagnosed enteropathy
