Factors Influencing User’s Continuance Usage Willingness Of E-learning In China
E-Learning has become a new way for people to receive an education. Nowadays, the scale of E-Learning is growing rapidly, and the Chinese Business-to-Consumer (B2C) market of the E-Learning industry is promising and has become a new industry of general concern. However, the homogenization problems of products, the low willingness of newly registered users rate, and low retention became prominent. How users use E-Learning apps may yield important theoretical and practical implications for scholars and companies. Thus, considering the Technology Continuance Theory (TCT) model, task technology fit (TTF) model, and with extra new variables, this study examined the determinants impacting the user’ E-Learning Continuance Usage Willingness (CUW) in China. This study examined the relationship between Satisfaction, Attitude, Trust, Privacy, Security, Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Information Quality, Service Quality, TTF, technology characteristics (TEC), task characteristics (TAC), Course Trial, Perceived Cost, Perceived Usefulness (PU), and E-Learning Continuance Usage Willingness in the Chinese E-Learning market. It also examined the moderating effect of Experience in B2C platform. The positivist paradigm is adopted for this study. Realism is chosen for ontology, and empiricism is chosen for epistemology. A survey research methodology was adopted in this study, and the questionnaires was distributed to E-Learning users in China
Design Standards Of Car Porch Ramp To Accommodate Low-Clearance Vehicles: Case Study Of Taman Bukit Kepayang, Seremban Negeri Sembilan
This research aims to evaluate and propose effective gradient at car porch area
for the housing sector. The dependent variable that acts as presumed effect is vehicle to
stuck and become lodged but the independent variable is referring to the car clearances
dimension, design of the ramp and guidelines in ramp design. In other words, the
situation of the vehicles to stuck and lodged depends on the car clearances dimension,
design of the ramp and guidelines in ramp design. Interview sessions were held with the
professional architects and engineers in the engineering department at Majlis Bandaraya
Seremban, DBKL, Majlis Bandaraya Melaka, Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru, Jabatan
Kerja Raya (JKR) and consultant firms. During the interview session, four aspects of
this matter were discussed to explore the existing standards and guidelines in ramp
design for car porch at housing sector in double storey house to accommodate lowclearances
vehicles. The feedback from the professionals was analysed and the result of
the study will be valuable to the construction industry and tools for future design. These
data can be used to estimate the suitable degree and percent for different categories of
ground clearances which is useful for current development and current technology
circulation especially for consultants, authority and contractor
Clustering Ensemble And Hybrid Of Deep Learning For Spatio-Temporal Crime Predictions
The increase in the urban population poses challenges in managing services and
safety from criminal activities. The concerned stakeholders intend to predict the time,
location, number, and types of crimes to take suitable preventive measures. Accurate
identification and prediction of crime hotspots can significantly benefit the concerned
stakeholders in preventing crime by creating accurate threat visualizations and allocating
police resources efficiently. Several techniques have been proposed for crime
prediction, but they are limited in accuracy and predicting crime according to crime
type on an hourly, monthly, and seasonal basis. Crime hotspot detection approaches
are primarily sensitive to initial parameter selection and finding clusters of varying
shapes and densities. Similarly, existing Crime prediction approaches are limited in
capturing non-stationary data and long-term dependencies by focusing on crime types.
Thus, the crime detection and prediction mechanisms need improvement in the number
of crimes, crime span, accuracy, and dense crime region and prediction. The core
objective of this study is twofold. First, it proposes a crime hotspot detection model to
improve accuracy using Hierarchical Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications
with Noise (HDBSCAN) and its clustering ensemble to capture varying shapes and
densities clusters and improve accuracy. HDBSCAN is used with varying parameter
initialization in the generation mechanism under the cluster ensemble paradigm. Moreover,
six different distance measures are used to ensure diversity. In addition, an evaluation
function is proposed parameterized by silhouette score to select the stable clustering
among a pool of clustering solutions to ensure quality
Fostering Performance Among Indonesian Ebusiness Start-Ups: The Role Of Innovation Capability With Dynamic Capabilities
The objective of this study is to emphasize the impact of innovation capability on e-business performance by examining the presence of dynamic capabilities and the influence of government support and entrepreneurial orientation within organizations. This research aims to strengthen the correlation between dynamic capabilities and e-business performance. The performance of e-business start-ups is vital for enhancing the stability of a nation's economy, since these enterprises possess the ability to operate flexibly and swiftly adjusting to technological advancements in the digital age. Prior research has extensively examined the significance of innovation and dynamic organizational capacities, establishing them as crucial elements for enhancing a company's performance. However, research pertaining to this problem, particularly in the context of digital firms, has received limited attention, resulting in a scarcity of available materials from prior studies. Information was obtained from 117 e-commerce start-up enterprises that have been active in Indonesia for a period of less than 5 years. The survey was carried out by distributing questions using email and Google Form digital platforms, and subsequently analysed using PLS software version 3.0. The findings are anticipated to address the knowledge gap identified in the literature review and contribute a novel discovery that enhances and supplements the study of RBV theory and dynamic capabilities, particularly in relation to the performance of e-business start-ups in developing nations
Micropropagation Of Fig (Ficus Carica) Cv.japanese Btm 6
Ficus carica L., commonly known as the fig tree and belonging to the Moraceae family, is cultivated in subtropical and Mediterranean regions worldwide. This fruit-bearing tree is rich in natural fibre, minerals, and vitamins. However, conventional propagation methods, such as grafting, hardwood cutting, and air layering, are inefficient for establishing viable plant stocks in Malaysia. The primary factor to this inefficiency is the suboptimal rooting efficiency associated with these conventional propagation techniques. However, experiments have shown that vermicast can enhance root induction, improving the survival rate of plantlets in these methods. Therefore, vermicast can be as an option to help with root induction."Vermicast, a byproduct of organic matter decomposition by earthworms, is known for its advantageous impact on plant growth in agriculture. This study aims to establish methods for the micropropagation of Ficus carica cv. Japanese BTM 6 and to evaluate the regeneration effects of vermicast solution on in vitro shoot cultures. Sterile nodal segment explants were subjected to treatments involving various types and concentrations of organic additives, including potato, banana, and coconut water. The induced shoots were further treated with different combinations and concentrations of cytokinins (meta-topolin, BAP, 2ip, zeatin, and TDZ) and auxins (IAA, IBA, NAA) to promote shoot multiplication. Additionally, the induced shoots were assessed for their response to varying concentrations of vermicast solution (ranging from 5% to 30%) in terms of in vitro shoot and root regeneration. Plantlets with roots were acclimatized with different potting mix and vermicast as the acclimazation media with and without vermicast solution during watering
