This study focuses on camping tourism as a growing outdoor recreational activity, gaining attention locally and through extensive media coverage, particularly on social media platforms. Despite its popularity, camping tourism has not received widespread attention compared to other tourism sectors. The study aims to explore attraction factors and satisfaction levels regarding facilities and services at Murog Purog Camp Site Tambatuon Village (MPCST) in Kota Belud. The three main objectives of the study are to identify attractions motivating campers at MPCST, examine camper satisfaction with facilities and services, and propose recommendations for improvements. The research design involves an online exploratory approach with a quantitative method as the primary research tool. A total of 70 respondents who have visited MPCST in Kota Belud participated in the study, providing their responses through an online questionnaire. Attraction factors identified include the location, scenic surroundings, clear and cool river water, unique river flow structure, and offered activities. Respondents expressed very high satisfaction levels with these attraction factors. Additionally, overall satisfaction with facilities and services, such as water and electricity facilities, online reservation services, and staff services, was generally high. Several recommendations were proposed to enhance facilities and services, including building a dedicated place of worship, expanding parking areas, constructing a convenience store, increasing toilet and tent facilities, adding more electricity facilities, and installing lights around the camping area

Enhancing benthic habitat mapping: A review of integrating satellite and side scan sonar data for improved classification accuracy
Prevalent challenges persist within remote sensing techniques for benthic habitat mapping. While efforts are being made to improve mapping accuracy through combined remote sensing approaches, the synergistic use of satellite and side-scan sonar datasets to address the inherent limitations of spectral discrimination and geometric distortions in each method remains limited. This review focuses on exploring the latent potential inherent in the complementary properties of both datasets. An analysis of articles from the Scopus databases published between 2010 and 2023 has shown that different data inputs with classification techniques influence the accuracy of coral reef community mapping. The integration of acoustically derived data and/or bathymetric data with satellite imagery can influence mapping results to varying degrees. The addition of acoustic hardness to satellite imagery has unfortunately led to inaccuracies. The contribution of slope derived from bathymetry varies with extraction algorithms; the use of more sophisticated algorithms leads to higher accuracy. Research on classification methods shows that object-based approaches produce different results depending on field conditions, which are consistently better than pixel-based methods, for both satellite spectral and side-scan sonar data. This review not only highlights conceptual discoveries, but also provides recommendations for future research: (1) the need for comparative evaluation of classification algorithms to determine the optimal classifier; and (2) side-scan sonar-derived slope as a forcing factor to improve accuracy. It is also expected that the review will provide valuable insights into data and classification decisions regarding the use of satellite imagery and acoustic data in future coral reef community mapping
Cellulose and cellulose derivatives in sustainable membrane development for oil/water separation
Cellulose is a natural polymer and most abundant organic substance on Earth. Inexhaustible hydroxyl groups on the cellulose surface allow derivatives of cellulose produced. This article discusses the recent progress of cellulose and cellulose derivatives in membrane development for oil/water separation. Functional groups that are available on the cellulose and its derivatives provide modification features to improve membrane wettability. Membranes with super wetting properties possess remarkable self-cleaning abilities which in turn can enhance permeation fluxes and extend membrane lifespan. However, the role of cellulose-based membranes in oily wastewater treatments is still in its early stages. This review article emphasizes on the development and modification of cellulose-based membranes for improvement of wettability, flux and separation efficiency, and the future directions of research

Holistic health in ageing: A multifaceted approach to diet, habits and mental health from the Malaysian perspective
Ageing is a significant challenge for both developing and developed countries today. The life expectancy of older adults is increasing due to advanced healthcare facilities and health education. Malaysia is projected to have 14% of its population over the age of 60 by 2030, with this figure expected to rise to 24% by 2050. In 2023, the population of individuals over 60 years old had increased to 3.8 million, according to the Malaysian Department of Statistics. This growing trend will create a burden on the country, requiring it to provide optimum healthcare systems and healthcare expenditure continuously. For ageing people, lack of knowledge about healthy diets and availability as well as the timing of food taking is one of the important concerns for their nutrition. These ageing people have no assistance in taking medication on time, which is another major concern about their physical inactivity. The older c sensations may change or changing recognition threshold, which may lead to nutritional deficiencies. Physical activities, smoking, alcohol or other habits maintain inappropriate ways and not performing physical activities because of several factors is another factor. Again, mental health is a very big issue to maintain a healthy lifestyle. As a result, older people need to remain physically active, maintain healthy personal habits and have regular medical checkups. In addition, a proper balance of diet and nutrition is crucial to prevent chronic health complications and reduce the need for frequent hospitalization. Furthermore, attention should be given to their mental health condition, as mental health is related to physical disabilities. This comprehensive approach can support the adoption of a healthier lifestyle. Again, regular follow-ups at least twice a year up to their life expectancy can maintain their health both physically and mentally. Therefore, this holistic approach to overall health data is essential for improving and enhancing healthy life expectancy and quality of life
