Get PDF本稿では、「KONANグローバル・バリアフリープロジェクト」の一環として新設された「海外ボランティア」（キャリア創生共通科目）の概要について説明し、新設後の学生の「海外ボランティア」科目の履修・学習状況について調査する。今後の「海外ボランティア」科目や新カリキュラムの発展の可能性を探るため、別科目「国際理解C」を履修中の学生を対象に、「ボランティア活動についての調査」を行い、学生のボランティア経験と、今後のボランティア活動参加の意思、活動選択における優先事項、海外ボランティア参加による単位取得希望の有無などについて調査した。departmental bulletin pape
Assessing Student Development: A BEVI-Based Analysis of Short-Term Study Abroad Program Outcomes
Get PDF本研究では、Believes, Events, and Values Inventory(BEVI) の客観的測定ツールを⽤い、短期留学体験型集中科⽬「エリアスタディーズ」のハワイプログラムが学⽣の成⻑にどのような影響を与えたかを検証する。プログラム参加者14名に対して、留学前後にBEVIテストを実地し、グループ全体、男⼥間などの属性別レポート分析を⾏なった。BEVIを構成する17のプロセス尺度のうち「Sociocultural Openness」、「Ecological Resonance」、「Global Resonance 」は、ハワイプログラムの⽬的と密接に合致しているため、この3つの尺度に焦点を当てた。結果としては、留学前後の様々な変化と、環境問題に対する意識、多様な視点への受容性、新しい⽂化体験への意欲などにおいて参加者の男⼥間に顕著な違いがあることが明らかになった。本研究は、学⽣が留学経験によって得られる成⻑と学習機会を最⼤限に活⽤できるようなプログラムを設計するために、BEVIをどのように活⽤できるかを⽰唆する。Learning outcomes of study abroad programs have come under increased scrutiny as universities strive to provide students with meaningful intercultural experiences that promote the development of competencies needed to navigate an increasingly interconnected and complex world. This study explores the impact of a short-term study abroad program on student development using the Beliefs, Events, and Values Inventory (BEVI) as an assessment tool. Preand post-tests were administered and aggregate and between-group reports were generated for 14 program participants. Of the 17 process scales that comprise BEVI, the Sociocultural Openness scale, the Ecological Resonance scale, and the Global Resonance scale were focused on as these align closely with the objectives of the target program. The results reveal significant changes over time including striking gender differences toward environmental impact issues,receptivity to diverse viewpoints, and eagerness to engage in new cultural experiences. The study illustrates how BEVI assessment can be employed to improve programs that help students to take full advantage of the growth and learning opportunities that the study abroad experience offers.departmental bulletin pape
「やさしい日本語」講座担当者が考える「やさしい日本語」とは何か ―「ベテラン」「中堅」「初任者」の比較―
Get PDF本稿は日本語母語話者にとって「やさしい日本語」とは何か、使用者の「意識」「マインド」の面からその意義を考察するため、「やさしい日本語」の指導者である講座担当者を対象に調査を行い、その結果をまとめたものである。調査対象者は「やさしい日本語」の講座担当者（経験回数により、ベテラン、中堅、初任者の３群に分類）であった。自由記述式アンケートの結果、「初任者」については主に日本語の形式に関する語が、「ベテラン」については外国人との接触場面に関する語、「やさしい日本語」使用者の「意識」に関する語がキーワードとして見られた。つまり、講座担当の経験を重ねた者は、他者への「やさしい日本語」の指導を通して、より「多文化共生」へと態度の変化が見られたということである。本調査の結果から、今後「やさしい日本語」の日本語母語話者にとっての「意識」「マインド」面での意義を考える示唆を得た。departmental bulletin pape
Learner Perceptions of Team-Based Learning (TBL) Efficacy
Get PDFこの定量的なアクションリサーチ研究では、日本の大学の経営コースでのチームベース学習（TBL）の効果について学習者の認識を探求しました。自己決定理論および学生エンゲージメントの枠組みを統合することにより、TBLが学生の心理的ニーズとエンゲージメントの次元とどのように整合するかを調査しました。テーマ分析および定量分析からの所見によると、TBLは学生の能力、自主性、関連性の感覚を著しく向上させました。また、行動的、感情的、認知的、および能動的エンゲージメントも促進しました。しかしながら、言語の壁、チームダイナミクス、およびピア評価の公平性に関する課題も指摘されました。この研究は、TBLが基本的な心理的ニーズを満たし、包括的なエンゲージメントを促進する可能性を強調しており、TBLの実施において文化的に敏感に適応する事と言語サポートの必要性を浮き彫りにしています。これらの洞察は、多様な教育環境において学習者のエンゲージメントと満足度を高めることを目指す教育者にとって重要です。This qualitative action-research study explored learner perceptions of Team-Based Learning (TBL) efficacy in a management course at a Japanese university. Integrating Self-Determination Theory and student engagement frameworks, the research examined how TBL aligns with students' psychological needs and engagement dimensions. Findings from thematic and quantitative analyses revealed that TBL significantly enhanced students' sense of competence, autonomy, and relatedness.It also fostered behavioral, emotional, cognitive, and agentic engagement.However,challenges such as language barriers, team dynamics,and peer evaluation fairness were noted.The study underscores TBL's potential in fulfilling basic psychological needs and promoting comprehensive engagement, highlighting the need for culturally sensitive adaptations and language support in TBL implementation. [教育方法・教育実践・教育学習支援] 解決志向コミュニケーションスキル向上を目的とした介入の短期的効果 ―看護職・介護職を対象に―
Get PDF解決志向の効果は多くの先行研究で確認されているにもかかわらず、組織全体に広めていく方法はまだ確立されていない。本研究では、ある医療法人に所属する主任クラスを対象とした管理職研修の機会を利用し、解決志向コミュニケーションスキルの習得ならびに組織への浸透を目的とする。本稿は全3回の介入のうち、初回の介入効果に関する研究である。受講者29名の研修に対する満足度や解決志向の理解度はおおむね向上したが、一方で課題も残した。今後の介入はさらに実践的な解決志向スキルを習得し、受講者が現場で応用できるようデザインする必要がある。departmental bulletin pape
