The Holy Quran, as it introduces itself, is the last book of the Qur'an and the eternal miracle of the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (PBUH), which was revealed in the form of words and letters by the Merciful God for the guidance and guidance of human beings. God Almighty has used various methods to convey His messages in order for people to use His instructions. One of these methods is to use the method and format of address or call in the Qur'an. The sermons or voices of God in the Qur'an are divided into two general categories: The first category is the general voices that God, regardless of ethnicity, race, color or the God of man, "5 times," or "the son of man" 20 all human beings With the words "O ye people", language. It has been addressed 27 times and in total there are two second groups of special voices that God has addressed and addressed to a certain person, nation or group, which will be discussed in the next volumes, God willing, by divine grace and success. In the first volume, we have dedicated this discussion to the general voices, which have not been compiled in three chapters in the order of suras and verses of the Qur'an. Chapter One: About "Ya O Yahya Al-Nas" or O Son of Adam "Chapter Two: About" Chapter Three: About "Ya O Yahya Al-Ansan" Dear friends and readers, I ask you to send any criticisms and suggestions to the Department of Islamic Education, Faculty of Medicine, at the address: Ardabi L _ University of Medical Sciences, so that, God willing, it can be corrected in future editions. In the end, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the efforts of my very dear friend, Mr. Hossein Ekrami, who accepted the book and did it well. I ask God Almighty to respect the Qur'an and the fourteen infallibles (peace be upon them) to grant us all the success of reciting, thinking and practicing the Qur'an

Background and Objective: Hydatidosis is a parasitic disease caused by the larvae of the parasite Echinococcus granulosus, which commonly affects the liver and lungs. It was first described as a bag full of water. The life cycle of the parasite occurs between dogs and a variety of ruminants, and humans are often infected by eating the parasite's eggs with vegetables or direct contact with the dog. Primary cysts depend on the size and location of their replacement, with most cases of cysts occurring in the liver (about 70%) and lungs (10-15%) and 5 to 10% in other organs such as bones, kidneys, and brain. The growth of the cysts is slow and is only noticed when it is enlarged in size and puts pressure on the adjacent organs and causes clinical symptoms Leakage of cyst fluid into the body causes sensitivity and eosinophilia 50-40%, torn Sudden onset of cysts causes severe anaphylactic shock, which in some cases results in death. Aim: Because this disease causes a lot of economic and health damage in the world and it is necessary to know it from a health and economic point of view, and also shows that in recent years not only the prevalence of the disease in the world has not decreased but also in many countries. The severity of the disease in humans and animals is spreading. Therefore, we decided to design and conduct a study in this field to investigate the prevalence of this disease. Methods: In Ardabil province, after coordination with the deputy of health of the province and coordination with health networks, using clustered files and selecting the household number (as Sarkhosheh), clusters and their number were randomly selected so that the samples in terms of number to Divided evenly between town and village. Since the purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence of Ardabil, so considering that the population of cities and villages in this city was almost equal, ie almost each included 250,000 people, half of the study population from the city and half from the population from The village was selected. Serum prevalence of hydatid cyst in villages and cities of Ardabil province, which are located in four geographical directions: north, south, east and west of this province, Ardabil, Nayr, Khalkhal, Meshginshahr, Parsabad villages were studied. Results: In this study, after examining 950 human serum samples, the results showed that the prevalence of hydatidosis was 4.4% equal to 42 persons and highest in the age group of 20-29 years, was higher in women than men, the frequency of infected people in Khalkhal was the highest, more rural They are exposed to this parasite and also have hydatidosis with factors such as occupation, contact with dogs, clinical symptoms and consumption of vegetables. Conclusion: Although the seroprevalence of hydatid cyst was relatively low in Hamadan province, yet, due to the importance of the disease and zoonotic feature of the organism, all preventive measures should be taken into consideration

Background: The most common method of anesthesia in inguinal surgery is spinal anesthesia. However, In patients that this type of anesthesia is contraindicated, the Laryngeal Mask Airway is used. Studies on the role of dexamethasone in the prevention of postoperative complications have often been associated with general anesthesia by endotracheal intubation. Also, these studies are not related to inguinal surgery and all of complications have not been studied. Aim: To determine the effect of dexamethasone to prevent complications in people under general anesthesia with laryngeal mask airway. Methods and material: This is a double-blind clinical trial study. In this study, a sample of 140 patients who are candidate for inguinal surgery (hernia + unilateral varicocele) and operated under general anesthesia using classical LMA, were selected and divided in 2 groups of 70 people each. The first group underwent general anesthesia with LMA. They received 8 mg / IV / stat dexamethasone after establishing the airway. The second group also underwent general anesthesia with LMA. After establishing the airway, 2 cc of normal saline was injected (IV). After surgery, patients were evaluated immediately after surgery in terms of complications (nausea and vomiting, sore throat, cough and chills) and the results were recorded. Also, 2 and 4 hours after surgery, these cases were asked again and recorded. And finally analyzed. Results: Intravenous dexamethasone reduces odynophagia, shortness of breath, epigastric pain, nausea and vomiting, cough, sore throat and chills in patients after inguinal surgery. Gender only affects on post-operative sore throat and the rate of sore throat was higher in men (P <0.05). Odynophagia was more common in hernia surgery than varicocelectomy (P <0.05). Conclusion: Intravenous dexamethasone is effective in preventing complications after inguinal surgery under general anesthesia with LMA

Background: Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the most common chronic liver disease which is correlated with overweight, obesity, and insulin resistance. Recently, the use of probiotics has been suggested for these patients as they have considerable outcomes. The aim of the present study is to evaluate the effect of GeriLact on patients with NAFLD. In this randomized clinical trial, 61 patients with NAFLD were recruited and randomly assigned to groups receiving GeriLact, 500 mg, twice per day, or placebo (with the same dose) for sixty days. Weight, body mass index (BMI), lipid profile, fasting blood sugar (FBS), Alanine aminotransferase (ALT), Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST), and sonographic grading were evaluated before and at the end of the study. In the GeriLact group, there was a significant decrease in ALT (p=0.002) and AST (p<0.001) levels, while the placebo group showed a significant decrease only in ALT level (p=0.01). There was a significant decrease in cholesterol levels in the intervention group compared to the placebo group (p=0.01), but there were no significant changes in FBS, triglycerides, LDL, and HDL levels between the two groups. The fatty liver grade was improved by 63.6% in the intervention group and by 46.4% in the placebo group. The results showed that probiotics caused significant improvement in ALT, AST, and cholesterol levels but had no effects on FBS, triglycerides, low-density lipoprotein (LDL), and high-density lipoprotein (HDL). Overall, treatment with GeriLact was found to be effective, safe, with low cost and well-tolerated in the long term use by the patients

Introduction Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory Papulosquamous disease of unknown etiology. The aim of the present study is to evaluate the periodontal status in individuals with and without psoriasis. materials and methods In this case-control study conducted at Imam Reza Medical and Educational Center in Ardabil, 47 patients with psoriasis over the age of 16 with at least 12 teeth (patient group) and 47 healthy patients and friends (control group) who no psoriasis or systemic diseases (diabetes, smoking, etc.) and no periodontal treatment in the last 6 months were selected. Periodontal status was assessed and recorded in patients of both groups by measuring PI, CAL, BOP and PD indices. The collected data were analyzed by t-test and in SPSS software version 22. Results Probing Depth (PD) in psoriasis group (3.27 ± 1.18) is significantly higher than healthy individuals (2.74 ± 0.73 mm). The clinical adhesion limit (CAL) in the psoriasis group (8.86 ± 2.22) is significantly lower than healthy individuals (9.29 ± 1.9 mm). Bleeding on probing (BOP) was significantly higher in the psoriasis group (63.8%) than in healthy individuals (44.7%). The plaque index (PI) in the psoriasis group (42.6%) was similar to that of healthy individuals (38.3%). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between periodontal disease and psoriasi

Protective effects of chrysin in inhibiting the toxicity induced by Aluminium Phosphide in isolated cardiomyocytes obtained from rat heart muscle

    No full text
Introduction Aluminum phosphide (AlP) poisoning is one of the most life-threatening emergencies. Phosphine gas (PH3) is a highly toxic gas, which is released when the tablet is exposed to humidity, causing multisystem organ failure. Cardiovascular complications are the main cause of death induced by aluminum phosphide which is related to oxidative stress and mitochondrial damages. Apart from the anticancer, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory effects, and inhibition of aromatase, chrysin is involved in the protection of cardiovascular disorders. For this purpose, we investigated the effect of chrysin as an antioxidant and mitochondrial protective agent against AlP-induced toxicity in isolated cardiomyocytes obtained from rat heart ventricular. Material and method Isolated cardiomyocytes of male wistar rat(s) were divided into seven groups including control, 20 µg/ml Aluminium phosphide, treatment group (containing different concentrations of chrysin (10, 20, 50 and 100 μg/ml) plus 20 μg Aluminum phosphide) and chrysine (100 μg/ml). Cell viability, reactive oxygen species (ROS) formation, mitochondria membrane potential (MMP), lysosomal damage, lipid peroxidation and oxidation and reduction of glutathione of each group were assessed using biochemical and flow cytometric methods. Results of each test were compared between groups, separately. Results Our results showed that the administration of chrysin (up to 10 μM) efficiently decreased (P < 0.05) cytotoxicity, oxidative, lysosomal, and mitochondrial damages induced by AlP, in isolated cardiomyocytes. Discussion and conclusion Since the logical treatment of AlP induced cellular dysfunction could be an agent to protect the cells from the oxidative stress, halting the manifestation due to progressive cellular damage, chrysin might be a promising agent in treatment of AlP poisoning
