Investigating the Relationship among Academic Qualification, Teaching Experience and Writing Proficiency on Classroom-based Writing

Taking the importance of academic qualification, writing proficiency and teaching experience with regard to writing assessment, the present quantitative study made attempt to investigate the effect of academic qualification, writing proficiency and teaching experience on writing assessment. In order to achieve the research objectives, 30 EFL teachers who teach English language in different language institutes in Iran along with 20 advanced level EFL learners from ILI were selected. Data were gathered through teachers’ writing proficiency test, students’ writing proficiency test and an assessment rubric. The Findings indicated a small relationship between academic qualification and writing assessment as well as between writing proficiency and writing assessment. Get PDFLos debates literarios son prácticamente consustanciales e intrínsecos a la existencia de la literatura en cualquier lengua y en cualquier cultura, en tanto que «en último término, remiten a condicionamientos pragmáticos humanos» (Chas Aguión 2002 : 59). Por lo que respecta a su inserción en la cultura de la Edad Media hispánica, hay un aspecto interesante que voy a dejar de lado conscientemente, por falta de espacio para analizarlo en su debida proporción: calibrar si la literatura dialógica medieval, en la forma de debate o a través de preguntas y respuestas, podría haber recogido algún tipo de herencia oriental, como la del averroísmo popular esgrimido por Márquez Villanueva (1997 : 130-132). Por ello, sin descartar las implicaciones que se puedan hallar en relación a esa hipótesis, es necesario comenzar estas líneas enfatizando el origen latino de la literatura de debate (Curtius 1952 : 1, 176-177), sobre todo en su extensión a la poesía en todas las lenguas románicas (Le Gentil 1949 : 1, 460-462)
