No full textУ статті досліджено подолання освітніх втрат з читання в учнів початкової школи. Дослідження освітніх втрат акцентують увагу на пошуках продуктивних шляхів вирішення проблеми. Зокрема, «Рекомендації щодо організації програм з надолуження освітніх втрат» пропонують низку механізмів та способів впровадження програм з надолуження освітніх втрат, зокрема залучення волонтерів, студентів, учителів. Одним з різновидів залучення додаткових кадрів є тьюторська модель, яка характеризується індивідуалізацією підтримки учня в освітньому процесі. На базі факультету початкового навчання Харківського національного педагогічного університету імені Г. С. Сковороди було започатковано освітній пілотний проєкт «Вправний читайлик» із наставницькою підтримкою молодших школярів. Основна мета проєкту – допомогти учням початкової школи подолати навчальні втрати, пов'язані із недостатньою сформованістю техніки читання, завдяки впровадженню сучасних ігрових технологій під час проведення індивідуальних онлайн-занять.
The article examines overcoming educational losses in reading among primary school students. Studies of educational losses focus on finding productive ways to solve the problem. In particular, the "Recommendations for organizing programs to compensate for educational losses" offer a number of mechanisms and methods for implementing programs to compensate for educational losses, in particular, involving volunteers, students, teachers. One of the types of involving additional personnel is the tutoring model, which is characterized by individualization of student support in the educational process. On the basis of the Faculty of Primary Education of the Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after H. S. Skovoroda launched an educational pilot project "Skilled Reader" with mentoring support for younger schoolchildren. The main goal of the project is to help primary school students overcome learning losses associated with insufficiently developed reading skills, through the introduction of modern gaming technologies during individual online lessons
ВЕРБАЛІЗАЦІЯ КОНЦЕПТУ NATURAL DISASTER У СУЧАСНИХ АМЕРИКАНСЬКИХ МЕДІА
No full textУ магістерській роботі представлено аналіз концепту NATURAL DISASTER у сучасних американських медіа. Об’єктом дослідження є лінгвокультурний концепт NATURAL DISASTER, вербалізований у сучасних американських медіа, а предметом – мовні засоби реалізації його понятійного, ціннісного та образного складників. Дослідження здійснено з використанням методів лінгвокультурного, когнітивно-семантичного, контекстного, концептуально-метафоричного та аксіологічного аналізу, а також аналізу словникових дефініцій. Встановлено, що понятійний компонент містить фундаментальні ознаки стихійних лих (природне походження, масштабність руйнувань, раптовість), ціннісний характеризується переважно негативними оцінками та емоціями (емоції страху, страждання, втрати тощо), а образний виражено через низку метафор (наприклад, «стихія як ворог», «лісова пожежа як монстр» тощо). Робота також містить розробку методичних рекомендацій та вправ з лексики за темою «Natural Disasters» для учнів 10–11 класів шкіл із поглибленим вивченням англійської мови.
The study investigates the linguocultural concept NATURAL DISASTER as it is verbalized in contemporary American media. The object of research is the concept itself, and the subject is the linguistic means expressing its notional, evaluative, and figurative components. The research employs linguocultural, cognitive-semantic, contextual, conceptual-metaphor, and axiological analyses, as well as dictionary-definition analysis. The findings show that the notional component includes core characteristics of natural disasters (natural origin, scale of destruction, suddenness), the evaluative component is predominantly negative (evoking fear, suffering, loss, etc.), and the figurative component is realized through a set of metaphors (e.g. portraying disasters as enemies or monstrous forces, etc.). The paper also comprises methodological guidelines and exercises on the topic “Natural Disasters” for 10th–11th-grade students of advanced English programs

No full textThe ability to infer the meaning of an unfamiliar word from context has always been a valuable skill for learners of English as a foreign language. Nowadays, with the growing exposure to authentic materials, this ability is becoming even more important since the linguistic complexity of such materials is often mismatched with learners’ proficiency levels. The constant need to use a dictionary may decrease learners’ motivation and affect their reading experience. These peer teaching activities simulate real classroom practice and allow pre-service teachers to reflect on the methodological application of what they have learned. We propose a five-stage model for developing word meaning inference skills in pre-service teachers, beginning with awareness-raising and gradually moving to learner autonomy and professional application.
Здатність визначати значення незнайомого слова з контексту завжди була цінною навичкою для тих, хто вивчає англійську мову як іноземну. Сьогодні, зі збільшенням доступу до автентичних матеріалів, це вміння стає ще більш важливим, оскільки лінгвістична складність таких матеріалів часто не відповідає рівню володіння мовою студентами. Постійна потреба користуватися словником може знизити мотивацію учнів і вплинути на їхній досвід читання. Такі заняття з колегами-викладачами імітують реальну практику викладання в класі і дають можливість майбутнім учителям поміркувати над методичним застосуванням вивченого матеріалу. Ми пропонуємо п'ятиступеневу модель для розвитку навичок виведення значення слова у майбутніх викладачів, починаючи з підвищення обізнаності і поступово переходячи до автономії учнів та професійного застосування
POETRY OF THE GREAT WAR IN THE UNDERGROUND OF KHARKIV
No full textУ статті досліджено особливості поетичних текстів спільноти Літературного СЛЕМУ в часи російського повномасштабного вторгнення. Сучасна українська література представлена трьома основними напрямами: усталеним класичним, мейнстрімом та неформальним андеграундом. Андеграунд (від англійської «underground» – «підпілля») – це напрям у мистецтві, зокрема літературі або музиці, який вважається «забороненим» і «непристойним», той, що живе в підпіллі. Він передбачає певний елемент бунтарства, протесту та порушення суспільних принципів моралі й табу, чим і відрізняється від інших двох напрямків. У Харкові андеграундне мистецтво активно розвивається у такому жанрі, як літературний слем. Зазначено, що андеграундна поезія є іншою, аніж поезія мейнстріму. Сучасний андеграундний напрям тяжіє до експериментальних підходів у формі й презентації художнього матеріалу. Поезія харківських митців дає змогу збагнути, що українці – сильна нація, яка, незважаючи на спроби її знищити, продовжує жити і творити.
The article examines the features of the poetic texts of the Literary SLAM community during the Russian full-scale invasion. Modern Ukrainian literature is represented by three main trends: established classical, mainstream and informal underground. Underground (from the English "underground" - "underground") is a trend in art, in particular literature or music, which is considered "forbidden" and "indecent", one that lives underground. It involves a certain element of rebellion, protest and violation of social principles of morality and taboos, which is what distinguishes it from the other two directions. In Kharkiv, underground art is actively developing in such a genre as a literary slam. It is noted that underground poetry is different from mainstream poetry. The modern underground direction tends to experimental approaches in the form and presentation of artistic material. The poetry of Kharkiv artists makes it possible to understand that Ukrainians are a strong nation, which, despite attempts to destroy it, continues to live and create
Piano cycles of miniatures in creativity Ukrainian Composers of the XX–XXI centuries
No full textМетою статті є окреслення концептуальних та жанрово-стильових векторів інтерпретації жанрової моделі фортепіанного циклу мініатюр у творчості митців України XX–XXI ст. Досягнення мети передбачає методологічну опору на компаративні настанови, які поєднують принципи історичного та культурологічного підходів, жанрового та стильового аналізу. Наукова новизна статті полягає у виявленні та обґрунтуванні провідних напрямів концептуального, стильового та жанрового модифікування жанрової моделі фортепіанного циклу мініатюр в художньому просторі України XX–XXI ст. Висновки. У статті жанрова модель фортепіанного циклу мініатюр позиціонована як така, що сягає витоками французького класицизму, бароко та актуалізується у просторі романтизму та художніх вимірах XX ст., резонуючи із стильовим різноманіттям, жанровою дифузійністю та суб’єктивізацією постcучасного мистецького світобачення. У різноманітті інтерпретацій фортепіанного циклу мініатюр у творчості митців України XX–XXI ст. окреслено такі модуси концептуальної, жанрової та стильової репрезентації, як: насичення виразними національними акцентами, апеляція до художнього досвіду романтизму, апробація новаційних стильових спрямувань у контексті моножанрового «прелюдійного» циклу; створення поліжанрових програмних циклів, позначених тяжінням до наскрізних форм, стильовим плюралізмом, новаційністю музичної мови та виразового комплексу; формування стильово-меморіального варіанту жанру, маркованого значущістю концепту історичної та національної пам’яті, стильових та жанрових апеляцій до національного та світового художнього доробку, різноманіттям типів програмності; синтез світового художнього досвіду на ґрунті неофольклоризму; значущість тенденції інтертектуальності, виявленої в синтезі музичного мистецтва та живопису; активне функціонування «дитячого» різновиду, позначеного внутрішньою стильовою та жанровою багатовимірністю, значущістю програмності та інтертекстуальних інтенцій; експерименталізм у сфері концепції, стилю та жанру, суголосний орієнтації сучасного митця на формування власного творчого світу.
The purpose of the article is to outline the conceptual and genre-stylistic vectors of interpretation of the piano cycle miniatures genre model in the works of Ukrainian artists of the XX-XXI centuries. Achieving this goal involves methodological support on comparative guidelines than the principles of historical approaches, genre and style analysis. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the identification and substantiation of the leading directions of conceptual, stylistic and genre modification of the piano cycle miniatures genre model in the artistic space of Ukraine of the XX–XXI centuries. Conclusions. In the article the genre model of the piano cycle of miniatures is positioned as one of that back to the origins of French classicism, baroque and is actualized in the space of romanticism and artistic dimensions of the XX century, resonated with stylistic diversity, genre diffusion and subjectivisation of the contemporary artistic worldview. In the variety of interpretation of the piano cycle of miniature in the Ukrainian artist`s works of the XX–XXI centuries, the following modes of conceptual, genre and stylistic representation are outlined: saturation with expressive national accents, appeal to the artistic experience of Romanticism, testing of innovative stylistic trends in the context of mono-genre «prelude» cycle; creation of polygenre program cycles marked by a tendency to crosscutting forms, stylistic pluralism, innovation of musical language and expressive complex; formation of a stylistic-memorial variant of the genre marked by te significance of the concept of historical and national memory, stylistic and genre appeals to national and world artistic heritage, and a variety of program types; synthesis of the world artistic experience on the basis of neo-folklorism; significance of the trend of intertextuality revealed in the synthesis of musical art and painting; active functioning of the «children`s» variety marked by internal stylistic and genre multidimensionality, significance of programmatic and intertextual intentions; experimentalism in the field of concept, style and genre, consonant with the orientation of the contemporary artistic to the formation of his own creative world
