Ідентичність проявляє себе через почуття стабільного, адекватного власного «Я», через здатність людини вирішувати задачі, з якими вона постійно стикається у процесі свого розвитку в потоці метаморфоз сучасного світу. Зазначено, що найголовніша роль освіти полягає в тому, щоб підготувати людину до виходу з різноманітних криз, катастроф, завдяки сформованій здатності до креативних дій та нетрадиційного мислення. Освіта як своєрідний засіб «олюднення», який надає шанс не загубити свого «Я», зберегти свою ідентичність, знайти гармонію в собі і зовні, саморозвиватися, самореалізовуватися у творчості і навчанні впродовж життя.
The publication explores the issues of identity crisis, further life embodiment and life creation, self-determination, balance between time and life perspective. Identity manifests itself through a sense of a stable, adequate own "I", through a person's ability to solve problems that he constantly faces in the process of his development in the flow of metamorphoses of the modern world. It is noted that the most important role of education is to prepare a person to overcome various crises, disasters, thanks to the formed ability to creative actions and unconventional thinking. Education as a kind of means of "humanization", which provides a chance not to lose one's "I", to preserve one's identity, to find harmony within oneself and externally, to self-develop, to self-realize in creativity and learning throughout life

No full textThis research aims to identify and describe the primary motivational types of character names in contemporary American and Canadian animated films and series. In today’s rapidly globalizing world, animated films have evolved into more than just entertainment; they also serve as significant markers of cultural identity. The unique linguistic features of character names in these works play a crucial role in how audiences perceive and understand characters as distinct individuals, while also reflecting the richness of cultural traditions. The study of cartoon character names has gained increasing relevance in recent times. It enhances our understanding of the creative process and helps ensure that audiences appreciate animated films meaningfully. Additionally, this research contributes to the preservation of the cultural uniqueness of names during the translation process. The motivation behind names plays a significant role in shaping characters. Names can be descriptive, directly reflecting the character’s traits, or they can be metaphorical and symbolic, adding deeper meanings and layers of interpretation. Each type of naming motivation contributes to the development of more complex and multifaceted characters. The names of characters in American and Canadian animated films reflect various motivational factors and their combinations. One important criterion is how appealing a name is, especially for female characters, as well as how well it fits within the overall naming system of the cartoon, which is often based on a specific concept. When selecting a name, factors such as the character’s appearance, personality traits, profession, social status, title, nationality, and other aspects may be considered. The blend of these motivational factors, the creativity of the creators, and the use of humorous techniques in name formation contribute to the attractiveness and memorability of characters, particularly for young audiences.
Це дослідження має на меті визначити й описати основні мотиваційні типи імен персонажів сучасних американських і канадських анімаційних фільмів та серіалів. У сучасному світі, на тлі стрімкої глобалізації й розширення культурного обміну, мультиплікаційні фільми стають не лише розважальним продуктом, але й важливим аспектом культурної ідентичності. Мовна специфіка імен персонажів у цих творах виступає як ключовий фактор, що визначає сприйняття та розуміння героїв як самостійних індивідів, а також відображає глибину культурних традицій. Вивчення мовної специфіки імен анімаційних персонажів набуває зараз великої актуальності. Це забезпечить розуміння глибини творчого процесу й, у такий спосіб, сприятиме адекватному сприйняттю мультиплікаційних фільмів аудиторією, а також допоможе зберегти культурну специфіку імен у перекладі. Мотивація імен грає важливу роль у формуванні образів героїв. Від описових назв, що безпосередньо характеризують персонажа, до метафоричних та символічних імен, які надають глибокого сенсу та додаткових рівнів інтерпретації, кожен тип мотивації сприяє створенню більш багатогранних героїв. Імена персонажів американських анімаційних фільмів демонструють розмаїття мотиваційних чинників, а також їхню комбінацію. Важливим є критерій привабливості імені (наприклад, для жіночих персонажів), їхньої відповідності загальній системі імен мультфільму, підпорядкованій певній концепції тощо. У виборі імені можуть враховуватися зовнішність персонажа, риси характеру, професія чи рід заняття, соціальний статус, титул, посада, національність та ін. Поєднання мотиваційних чинників, креативність номінаторів, використання гумористичних прийомів для створення унікальних образів забезпечує привабливість, запам’ятовуваність персонажів для глядача, насамперед дитячої аудиторії

The article examines symbolism and psychologism in Edgar Allan Poe's story "The Golden Beetle". The story "The Golden Beetle" can be considered not only as a sample of adventure and detective prose, but also as a multi-level text that combines symbolism and psychological depth. Edgar Allan Poe balances between the rational and the mystical, leading the reader to reflect on the plot mysteries, the nature of the human mind, the limits of logic and the role of chance in life. The author creates an atmosphere of uncertainty in which the reader doubts: is the hero really a genius detective, or an obsessed fanatic. This is the true power of Poe's work

No full textУ статті розглядається історія підготовки і перша спроба впровадження української мови в навчальний процес в Харківському Імператорському університеті, яку здійснив професор історико-філологічного факультету Харківського університету Микола Федорович Сумцов у 1907 р. Проаналізовано творчий доробок і ініціативну діяльність М. Ф. Сумцова, Д. І. Багалія, М. Г. Халанського, М. С. Грушевського, О. С. Грушевського на початку ХХ ст. в справу переводу університетської освіти на теренах сучасної України на українську мову. Досліджені і вперше введені у науковий обіг нові історичні джерела – публікації газети «Рада» за 1906-1908 рр. Вперше відтворена історія підготовки М. Ф. Сумцовим викладання українською мовою курсу української народної словесності і проведення перших двох лекцій, їх змісту і реакції аудиторії. Наведені приклади схвальних відгуків на цю визначну подію широких кіл української громадськості і різко негативну реакцію міністерства освіти. Визначено непересічне значення самої події переходу у викладанні в університеті на українську мову і величезний внесок М. Ф. Сумцова у цю справу, яка сприяла подальшому формуванню національної самосвідомості українського народу і не втратила свого значення до сьогодення.
The article examines the history of the preparation and first attempt to introduce the Ukrainian language into the educational process at the Kharkiv Imperial University, which was carried out by Mykola Fedorovych Sumtsov, professor of the Faculty of History and Philology at Kharkiv University, in 1907. The creative work and initiative of M. F. Sumtsov, D. I. Bahalii, M. G. Khalansky, M. S. Hrushevsky, and O. S. Hrushevsky at the beginning of the 20th century in the transition of university education in modern Ukraine to the Ukrainian language is analysed. New historical sources have been researched and introduced into scientific circulation for the first time – publications of the newspaper Rada for 1906-1908. For the first time, the history of M. F. Sumtsov's preparation for teaching a course in Ukrainian folk literature in Ukrainian and the first two lectures, their content and the audience's reaction have been reconstructed. Examples of positive responses to this significant event from broad circles of Ukrainian society and the sharply negative reaction of the Ministry of Education are given. The extraordinary significance of the transition to teaching in Ukrainian at the university and M. F. Sumtsov's enormous contribution to this cause, which contributed to the further formation of the national identity of the Ukrainian people and has not lost its significance to this day, are highlighted
US ELECTORAL LANDSCAPE: ANALYSIS OF THE FACTORS OF POLITICAL POLARIZATION OF AMERICAN SOCIETY

Дослідження фокусується на чинниках, які впливають на зростання ідеологічного розколу американського суспільства, зокрема таких як рівень доходів, освіти, географія проживання та ін. В статті акцентовано увагу на ролі соціальних мереж у поширенні популізму, дезінформації та формуванні емоційних реакцій, які відіграють ключову роль у посиленні політичної поляризації американського суспільства. Автор підкреслює, що поляризація підриває довіру до інститутів демократії, ускладнює пошук компромісів і створює загрозу для національної єдності. Висновки дослідження вказують на необхідність розробки ефективних стратегій для подолання поляризації тавідновлення довіри до фундаментальних демократичних цінностей.
The author analyzes the current political landscape in the United States and in general the state of American democracy in terms of the growth of political polarization between Democrats and Republicans. The study focuses on the factors that influence the growth of the ideological split of American society, in particular, such as income levels, education, geography of residence etc. The article focuses on the role of social networks in the spread of populism, misinformation and the formation of emotional reactions that play a key role in strengthening the political polarization of American society. The author emphasizes that polarization undermines confidence in the institutions of democracy, makes it difficult to find compromises and poses a threat to national unity. The findings of the study indicate the need to develop effective strategies to overcome polarization and restore confidence in fundamental democratic values
