By having the evaluation of the substances, an investigative process of the advances in technology is carried out and how they can be incorporated into the proposal to be made.En el proyecto de grado “diseño y estandarización de la planta piloto de tratamiento de agua tipo compacta, en la Universidad de América”. Se realiza un análisis de las sustancias que se planean utilizar en el CEPIIS (Centro de procesos e innovación para la industria sostenible), las cuales tendrán que ser tratadas en la planta compacta de tratamiento; estas sustancias se agrupan por naturaleza química, lo que permite generar un posible tratamiento. Al tener la evaluación de las sustancias, se realiza un proceso investigativo de los avances de la tecnología y cómo se pueden incorporar en la propuesta a realizar

No full textThe purpose of this work is to obtain oil from coffee grounds at a laboratory scale to evaluate its properties as a possible corrosion inhibitor. Corrosion cannot be avoided, but its control is possible; and in order to find better products for corrosion inhibition and that are friendly to the environment, it is advisable to look for new products that meet these characteristics, such as oils of vegetable origin, due to the properties they possess and being a resource renewable increasing its importance by not having any harmful agent that affects the environment. Coffee is the second most consumed beverage globally and a sub-product for its preparation is coffee grounds, it was sought to use the oil present in it as a corrosion inhibitor where mass loss tests were used to verify its effectiveness in addition to identifying its properties.El presente trabajo, tiene como propósito llevar a cabo la obtención de aceite a partir de la borra de café a escala laboratorio para evaluar sus propiedades como un posible inhibidor de corrosión. La corrosión al no poder evitarse, pero si es posible su control; y en aras de buscar mejores productos para la inhibición de corrosión y que sean amigables con el medio ambiente, es recomendable buscar nuevos productos que cumplan con estas características como lo son los aceites de origen vegetal por las propiedades que están poseen y al ser un recurso renovable aumentando su importancia al no poseer ningún agente nocivo que afecte al medio ambiente. El café es la segunda bebida más consumida a nivel global y un sub producto para su preparación es la borra, se buscó usar el aceite presente en este como un inhibidor a la corrosión en donde se usaron pruebas de pérdidas de masa para comprobar su efectividad además de identificar propiedades del mismo

No full textInitially, the project focused on the production of an organic fertilizer, where the physicochemical and microbiological characterization of the waste used as raw material is carried out, being used to minimize the environmental impact. The main objective is to obtain a compost that starts from the 540 kg of sludge generated in water treatment, waste from ice cream production and other waste from surrounding areas, all obtained monthly at the ODA GELATO company.In these characterizations, different parameters are taken into account that are compared within the regulations that classify the waste suitable for reuse, then it goes through a selection process where it is evaluated and chooses to produce the compost in a horizontal reactor with aeration.Inicialmente el proyecto se enfocó hacia la producción de un abono orgánico, donde se realiza la caracterización fisicoquímica y microbiológica de los residuos usados como materia prima, siendo aprovechados para minimizar el impacto ambiental. El objetivo principal es la obtención de un compost que parta de los 540 kg de lodos generados en el tratamiento de aguas, residuos de la producción del helado y otros residuos de las zonas aledañas obtenidos todos mensualmente en la empresa ODA GELATO. En dichas caracterizaciones se tienen en cuenta diferentes parámetros que son comparados dentro de normatividad que clasifica a los residuos aptos para ser reutilizados, luego pasa a un proceso de selección donde se evalúa y opta por producir el compost en un reactor horizontal con aireación

No full textThe purpose of this research was to evaluate the protein content of the larvae of the black soldier fly (Hermetia Illucens Sp.) from the biowaste degradation process; for this, larvae were fed with diets based on fresh residues (vegetables and fruits), cooked residues (restaurant waste), meat residues and pruning and grass residues. All the residues used underwent an analysis to determine their physical parameters.La presente investigación tuvo como finalidad evaluar el contenido proteico de las larvas de mosca soldado negro (Hermetia Illucens Sp.) a partir del proceso de degradación de biorresiduos; para ello, se alimentaron larvas con dietas basadas en residuos frescos (vegetales y frutas), residuos cocidos (desechos de restaurantes), residuos cárnicos y residuos de poda y césped. Todos los residuos empleados pasaron por un análisis para determinar sus parámetros físicos

No full textThe purpose of this document was to analyze the implementation of an Energy Management System (SGEn), based on the guidelines established by the international standard ISO 50001, through the presentation and analysis of a series of case studies of Latin American organizations. Initially, generalities of the ISO 50001 standard are described, highlighting the continuous improvement strategy that it adopts and under which the entire deployment of an Energy Management System is governed. Likewise, from a strategic perspective, the evolution of the regulations over the years at a global level is described, focusing on the Latin American panorama, thus pointing out those Latin American countries and the respective industrial sectors that lead the implementation and certification.Este documento tuvo como fin analizar la implementación de un Sistema de Gestión de Energía (SGEn), basado en los lineamientos que establece la norma internacional ISO 50001, a través de la exposición y análisis de una serie de casos de estudio de organizaciones latinoamericanas. Inicialmente se describen generalidades del estándar ISO 50001 y se destaca la estrategia de mejora continua que adopta y bajo la cual se rige todo el despliegue de un Sistema de Gestión de Energía. No full textThe purpose of this research is to technically and economically evaluate intervention proposals for wells in the central block of the Dina Terciarios field to optimize production from the Doima and Monserrate formations. It begins with the characterization of the sands collecting petrophysical information that shows the potential to store hydrocarbons with results of porosity from 11% to 18%, permeabilities from 6 mD to 300 mD, pressures from 700 psi to1300 psi, temperature 128 F to 146 F and a lithology composed of sands and conglomerates. We continue with the history of production and interventions in these sands, identifying the changes in production after each opening or isolation of perforated intervals to determine the works that have been effective in the field and to which wells to apply them, past interventions that represented a decrease in production are evaluated and in case the wells have not been previously completed in these formations with electric logs, the possibility of perforating them is evaluated.Esta investigación tiene como finalidad evaluar técnica y económicamente propuestas de intervención a los pozos del bloque centro del campo dina terciarios para optimizar la producción de las formaciones Doima y Monserrate. Se inicia con la caracterización de las arenas recolectando la información petrofísica que demuestra el potencial para almacenar hidrocarburos con resultados de porosidad de 11% a 18%, permeabilidades de 6 mD a 300 mD, presiones de 700 psi a1300 psi, temperatura 128 F a 146 F y una litología compuesta por arenas y conglomerados. Se continúa con la historia de producción e intervenciones en estas arenas, identificando los cambios en la producción posterior a cada apertura o asilamiento de intervalos cañoneados para determinar los trabajos que han sido efectivos en el campo y a que pozos aplicarlos, se evalúan intervenciones pasadas que representaron una disminución de la producción y en caso de que los pozos no hayan sido completados previamente en estas formaciones con los registros eléctricos se evalúa la posibilidad de cañonearlos

No full textAt the global level, in recent decades there has been an increase in discarded solid waste, as a result of population growth in urban areas and the economic development of countries. The foregoing has generated a garbage crisis, caused by poor management, ignorance of alternatives that reduce the generation of waste or the reuse of these in others. The sustainable development goals are global goals that aim to meet the needs of the population without compromising the capacity of future generations; One of the sustainable development goals is to guarantee access to affordable, secure, sustainable and modern energy for all citizens. Implementing techniques for the use of solid waste for energy generation is a way of fulfilling the aforementioned objective, in this way, the pollution caused by inadequate final disposal would be mitigated; although it should be noted that the efficiency of waste conversion depends on the efficiency of the process, and to a large extent on the quality of the waste.A nivel mundial, en las últimas décadas se ha evidenciado un incremento de los residuos sólidos desechados, producto del crecimiento poblacional en las áreas urbanas y el desarrollo económico de los países. Lo anterior ha generado crisis de basuras, ocasionadas por los malos manejos, desconocimiento de alternativas que reduzcan la generación de desechos o la reutilización de estos en otros. Los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible son objetivos mundiales que apuntan a satisfacer las necesidades de la población sin comprometer la capacidad de las generaciones venideras; uno de los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible es garantizar el acceso a una energía asequible, segura, sostenible y moderna para todos los ciudadanos. El implementar las técnicas de aprovechamiento de residuos sólidos para la generación de energía, es una forma de dar cumplimiento al objetivo anteriormente nombrado, de esta manera, se mitigaría la contaminación causada por una disposición final inadecuada; aunque cabe resaltar que la eficiencia de la conversión de residuos depende de la eficiencia del proceso, y en gran medida a la calidad del residuo

No full textIn the present work, we seek to carry out a detailed design of a fast pyrolysis reactor for plastic waste for the production of fuel, which contributes to the generation of eco-efficient technological alternatives. To comply with this project, the design parameters of the pyrolysis reactor will be determined, such as thermal conditions, properties of the raw material, processing capacity, in order to obtain a basis for the investigation. Even each of the configurations and types of reactors to carry out the aforementioned process that are available in the literature will be analyzed.En el presente trabajo se busca realizar un diseño a detalle de un reactor de pirólisis rápida de residuos plásticos para la producción de combustible, lo cual contribuye en la generación de alternativas tecnológicas ecoeficientes. Para dar cumplimiento a dicho proyecto se determinarán los parámetros de diseño del reactor de pirólisis tales como condiciones térmicas, propiedades de la materia prima, capacidad de procesamiento, con el fin de obtener una base de la investigación.
