No full textSesquilé is a municipality of Cundinamarca in the province of Almeidas with a strategic location, its degree of connectivity with the proximity to the capital of Bogotá and with the north highway towards Tunja and with the concession of the eastern perimeter and 4th generation towards Villavicencio; with participating municipalities such as Suesca, Chocontá, Nemocón, Guatavita and Gachancipá, all with great potential that through hierarchies we notice the presence of a municipality that has the ability to react positively to a competitiveness plan where the provinces are participants in the economy of a country, achieving productive activities and the use of resources and impacting the territory. The central region has a great agro-industrial potential and environmental strength that links all municipalities to the capital, a series of studies is carried out to approximate the needs of the region and the transmission of a solution to these problems, with this it is carried out a Master Plan proposal where the priority is to take advantage of this potential where the relationship with the Environment is friendly and is the consequence of actions that last over time.Sesquilé es un municipio de Cundinamarca de la provincia de Almeidas con una ubicación estratégica, su grado de conectividad con la cercanía con la capital de Bogotá y con la autopista norte hacia Tunja y con la concesión de la perimetral de oriente y 4ta generación hacia Villavicencio; con municipios participantes como Suesca, Chocontá, Nemocón, Guatavita y Gachancipá todos con un Gran potencial que por medio de jerarquías notamos la presencia de un municipio que tiene la capacidad de reaccionar positivamente a un plan de competitividad donde las provincias son participes en la economía de un país, logrando actividades productivas y el aprovechamiento de recursos e impactando al territorio. Evaluation of waterflooding pilot implemented in a heavy oil field from Llanos Orientales basin for design of process optimization strategies
No full textOil recovery by injecting fluids into the reservoir has been one of the recovery methods with the greatest impact on increasing oil production worldwide. According to the operational requirements and conditions under which a deposit is found, water or gas injection operations are carried out. The first, whether externally or internally, has the purpose of recovering the remaining oil by generating a physical sweep of the porous medium, displacing the oil to the producing wells associated with the injector well. Despite this, to apply this recovery technology is necessary to consider a series of parameters that support its development in the field. Projects like this aim to evaluate the different parameters involved in the development of the waterflooding pilot carried out in a heavy oil field located in the Llanos Orientales Basin, for the design of process optimization strategies, prior to the phase of expansion of this technology.La recuperación de petróleo mediante la inyección de fluidos en el yacimiento ha sido uno de los métodos de recobro con mayor impacto en el incremento de la producción de petróleo a nivel mundial. De acuerdo a los requerimientos operacionales y condiciones bajo las cuales se encuentre un yacimiento, se llevan a cabo operaciones de inyección de agua o gas. El primero, ya sea de forma externa o interna, tiene como finalidad recuperar el petróleo remanente al generar un barrido físico del medio poroso, desplazando el crudo hacia los pozos productores asociados al pozo inyector. A pesar de esto, para aplicar esta tecnología de recobro es necesario considerar una serie de parámetros que permitan respaldar su desarrollo en el campo. Proyectos como este pretenden evaluar los diferentes parámetros involucrados en el desarrollo del piloto de inyección de agua realizado en un campo de crudo pesado ubicado en la Cuenca de los Llanos Orientales, para el diseño de estrategias de optimización del proceso, de forma previa a la fase de expansión de esta tecnología.Ecopetrol S.A
Evaluation of hydrogen production in a bank-scale bioreactor using bacteria of the Clostridium butyricum species from banana peel (Musa cavendish)
No full textThe high amount of banana waste that is produced in Colombia and is wasted ends up being a problem for the producing areas of the country. Various alternatives have been evaluated for use, without so far one of them has been defined. Through the execution of this project, hydrogen production, as an energy alternative, was evaluated by fermentation using Clostridium butyricum from solid banana peel residues. In the first instance, the collection, pre-treatment and characterization of the residual biomass was carried out. The peel was washed and dried to be ground and sieved in order to adapt and select the appropriate particle size for fermentation. An SEM analysis was performed to determine morphology and corroboration of the particle size obtained. The biomass collected was characterized in terms of cellulose content (8.64%), hemicellulose (14.16%), lignin (9.76%) and CHONS (39.37%, 5.67%, 39.37%, 1.2%, 0.11% respectively).La alta cantidad de residuos de banano que se producen en Colombia y que son desaprovechados, termina siendo un problema para las zonas productoras del país. Diversas alternativas se han evaluado para su aprovechamiento, sin que hasta el momento se haya definido una de ellas. Mediante la ejecución de este proyecto, se evaluó la producción de hidrógeno, como alternativa energética, mediante la fermentación empleando Clostridium butyricum a partir de los residuos sólidos de cáscara de banano. En primera instancia se realizó la recolección, pre-tratamiento y caracterización de la biomasa residual. La cáscara fue lavada y secada para ser molida y tamizada con el fin de la adecuación y selección del tamaño de partícula apropiado para la fermentación. Se realizó un análisis de SEM para determinación de morfología y corroboración del tamaño de partícula obtenida. La biomasa recolectada fue caracterizada en cuanto a contenido de celulosa (8.64%), hemicelulosa (14.16%), lignina (9.76%) y CHONS (39.37%, 5.67%, 39.37%, 1.2%, 0.11% respectivamente).Universidad Santo Tomá

No full textThe objective of the project was the use of natural dyes extracted from achiote (Bixa Orellana) and paprika (Capsicum Anuum), as pigments in the wooden toy paints industry. To meet this objective, the methods of extraction of each of the dyes were first chosen based on the parameters established in the collected literature, taking as an acceptance criterion the extraction that would provide greater coloration and yield, thanks to the statistical comparison analysis in pairs (REGWQ) and the statistical software XLSTAT, then the main characteristic that a pigment must have to be added to the paints (wettability) was evaluated, thus selecting the achiote pigment since it was the one that possessed such characteristic.El objetivo del proyecto fue el uso de colorantes naturales extraídos del achiote (Bixa Orellana) y el pimentón (Capsicum Anuum), como pigmentos en la industria de pinturas para juguetes de madera. Para cumplir este objetivo primero se escogieron los métodos de extracción de cada uno de los colorantes con base en a parámetros establecidos en la literatura recolectada, tomando como criterio de aceptación la extracción que brindara mayor coloración y rendimiento, esto gracias a el análisis estadístico de comparación por pares (REGWQ) y el software estadístico XLSTAT, después se evaluó la característica principal que debe tener un pigmento para ser adicionado a las pinturas (mojabilidad), seleccionando así el pigmento de achiote ya que era el que poseía tal característica

Development of a proposal for a residual water treatment system of Lácteos IBEL
No full textWith the respective literature review, pollutant removal methods were studied to be evaluated at the experimental level to choose the optimal reagents and processes. To comply with the regulations, six processes were proposed: grease trap, oxidation, neutralization, coagulation, flocculation and filtration, obtaining favorable results to comply with the dumping regulations. According to the theories and design principles, the industrial staggering of the established equipment was carried out taking into account the company's specifications and experimentally evaluated. Finally, the viability of the project was evaluated taking into account investment, operation and net income costs of the company through a B/C indicator, likewise the study of possible fines was made if the Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible.Con la respectiva revisión bibliográfica, se estudiaron los métodos de remoción de los contaminantes para ser evaluados a nivel experimental para elegir los reactivos y procesos óptimos. Para dar cumplimiento a la normativa, se plantearon seis procesos: trampa de grasas, oxidación, neutralización, coagulación, floculación y filtración, obteniendo resultados favorables para cumplir con la normativa de vertimiento. Acorde a las teorías y principios de diseño se realizó el escalonamiento industrial de los equipos establecidos teniendo en cuenta las especificaciones de la empresa y lo evaluado experimentalmente. Por último, se evaluó la viabilidad del proyecto teniendo en cuenta costos de inversión, operación e ingresos netos de la empresa mediante un indicador B/C, así mismo se hizo el estudio de las posibles multas si no se cumple con lo establecido por el Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible.Lácteos IBE
