No full textThis monograph consisted of defining an alternative to the use of industrial solid waste in asphalt mixtures from a national and international bibliographic review, where the environmental impacts generated in their production were determined, and the pollution they generate to the soil, the atmosphere, the water and the high energy consumption they present, in particular the conventional mixture or hot asphalt mixture. The environmental impacts were analyzed in each of the processes or activities involved in the production of asphalt mixture, where enlistment and maintenance of the mixture was also taken into account as an important part of the waste generation to which it becomes part.La presente monografía, consistió en definir una alternativa de aprovechamiento de residuos solidos industriales en las mezclas asfálticas a partir de una revisión bibliográfica nacional e internacional, donde se determino los impactos ambientales generados en su producción, y la contaminación que generan al suelo, a la atmosfera, al agua y el alto consumo de energía que presentan, en especial la mezcla convencional o mezcla asfáltica en caliente. Los impactos ambientales fueron analizados en cada uno de los procesos o actividades que intervienen en la producción de la mezcla asfáltica, donde también se tuvo en cuenta el alistado y mantenimiento de la mezcla como parte importante de la generación de residuos a la que llega a hacer parte
Production of a biofilm from the pectins extracted from the coffee mucilag.
No full textCoffee mucilage is an agro-industrial waste that generates a great environmental impact, therefore, the use of it in the production of biofilms represents an alternative to mitigate the effect caused by these wastes, as well as contributing to the reduction of plastics. conventional. This project aims to develop a proposal for the production of biofilms, from a 4% w / v concentration of pectin and glycerol to 1% w / v with a one-factor experimental design where films made from pectin are evaluated. citrus, compound pectin and mucilage pectin which was extracted by the selected method (acid hydrolysis), evaluating their physical and mechanical properties. Finally, according to the process carried out in the laboratory, the mass balance is carried out taking as a calculation basis 7425 Kg of mucilage / day, in order to describe the technical specifications and conditions of the process equipment, thus estimating the costs generated both in the extraction of pectin and in the production of biofilms.El mucílago de café es un residuo agroindustrial que genera un gran impacto ambiental, por lo tanto, el uso de este en la producción de biopelículas, representa una alternativa para mitigar el efecto causado por estos desechos, al igual que contribuir a la reducción de plásticos convencionales. Este proyecto tiene como objetivo desarrollar una propuesta para la producción de biopelículas, a partir de una concentración 4% p/v de pectina y glicerol a 1%p/v con un diseño experimental de un factor donde se evalúan películas elaboradas a base de pectina cítrica, pectina compuesta y pectina de mucílago la cual fue extraída por el método seleccionado (hidrólisis ácida), evaluando sus propiedades físicas y mecánicas. Por último, según el proceso realizado en el laboratorio, se lleva el cabo el balance de masa tomando como base de cálculo 7425 Kg de mucílago/día, con el fin de describir las especificaciones técnicas y condiciones de los equipos de proceso, para estimar así los costos generados tanto en la extracción de pectina como en la elaboración de biopelículas

No full textGreen roofs are alternatives to solving environmental and social problems and help economic development, over the years several countries have chosen to implement green terraces in their buildings, obtaining different types of benefits. Hotels can implement them as an eco-innovation strategy that allows them to attract more customers and reduce costs. Throughout the document, several success stories found in the literature are shown and each of the contributions made by the implementation of these systems are explained, then which ones directly benefit the hotel sector were evaluated, to later determine if they have the same validity in hotels in the city of Bogotá. It was found that the best service provided is the saving in energy costs due to the use of air conditioners and obtaining food by implementing orchards and it was concluded that green roofs are optimal for use in hotels, due to their good rate of return. of implementation investment, cost reduction, plus all the other benefits that are not implicit within the hotel sector.Los techos verdes son alternativas a la resolución de problemáticas ambientales, sociales y ayuda al desarrollo económico, a lo largo de los años varios países han optado por implementar terrazas verdes en sus edificaciones obteniendo diferentes tipos de beneficios. Los hoteles pueden implementarlos como una estrategia de eco-innovación que les permita atraer más clientes y reducir costos. A lo largo del documento se muestran varios casos de éxito encontrados en la literatura y se explican cada uno de los aportes que tiene la implementación de estos sistemas, luego se evaluaron cuáles benefician directamente al sector hotelero, para después determinar si tienen esa misma validez en los hoteles de la ciudad de Bogotá. Se encontró que el mejor servicio proporcionado es el ahorro en gastos de energía por el uso de aires acondicionados y la obtención de alimentos por implementación de huertas y se concluyó que los techos verdes son óptimos para usarse en hoteles, debido a su buena tasa de retorno de inversión de implementación, disminución de costos, mas todos los demás beneficios que no están implícitos dentro del sector hotelero

It is generated by means of the above to evoke those social dynamics on culture, economy and development that 57 years ago were due to the use of the train in addition to having a means of transport that is more efficient than the current one, thus managing to solve problems of mobility, social dynamics that exist due to the sectorization of the municipality.Se plantea un proyecto de enfoque patrimonial en el cual busca recuperar el sistema férreo de la región, realizando una reinterpretación de la Estación Ospina, la cual permitió que el municipio fuera un foco como capital del departamento. Se genera por medio de lo anterior evocar esas dinámicas sociales sobre la cultura, economía y desarrollo que hace 57 años se encontraban debido al uso del tren además de tener un medio de transporte que sea más eficiente que el actual, logrando solucionar de esta manera problemas de movilidad, dinámicas sociales que se tienen debido a la sectorización del municipio

No full textThe behaviour of a hydraulic fracture is affected by factors inherent to its geomechanics, such as, Young’s modulus, Poisson’s ratio, the properties of the fracture fluid and the pore pressure. It has been noted by some authors that the latter, seems to have a direct influence on the geometry of said fracture, as well as, its incidence on the in-situ stress and its propagation throughout its medium. The aim of this work is the evaluation of the effect of the pore pressure on the geometry of a fracture performed on the well “A”, located in the Upper Magdalena Valley Basin (Colombia).El comportamiento de una fractura hidráulica se ve afectado por factores inherentes a su geomecánica, como el módulo de Young, la relación de Poisson, las propiedades del fluido de fractura y la presión intersticial. Se ha señalado por algunos autores que esto último parece tener una influencia directa en la geometría de dicha fractura, así como su incidencia en el esfuerzo in-situ y su propagación a través de su medio. No full textThis research refers to the issue of physical rehabilitation through water, taking into account the initial problem that is the armed conflict, due to this many people have been left with physical and emotional consequences, an architectural project is carried out focused on the potentialization of physical rehabilitation through water sports, ensuring that the infrastructure allows the user to integrate and give a second chance in their quality of life, a new alternative for improvement for the inhabitants of the municipality, promoting the integration of spaces that allow therapy more effective for the user, linking the natural elements that are found around such as the Guaviare river and the jungle that surrounds it and thus creating comfort in the rehabilitation areas due to the fact that nature gives great support to the sensory motor, causing different emotions in the disabled. Within the project there are different kinds of pools such as the therapeutic one and the semi-Olympic pool that accompanies the rehabilitation, group or individual therapy spaces supported by gyms and it should not be noted that the circulation by means of a ribbon that ties all the spaces and thus articulating them in a way that does not obstruct the passage of the disabled.La presente investigación se refiere al tema de la rehabilitación física por medio del agua, teniendo en cuenta la problemática inicial que es el conflicto armado debido a esto muchas personas han quedado con secuelas físicas y emocionales, se realiza un proyecto arquitectónico enfocado en la potencialización de rehabilitación física por medio del deporte acuático, llevando a cabo a que la infraestructura permita integrar el usuario y dar una segunda oportunidad en su calidad de vida, una nueva alternativa de mejora para los habitantes del municipio, fomentando la integración de espacios que permitan una terapia más eficaz al usuario, vinculando los elementos naturales que se encuentran alrededor como el rio Guaviare y la selva que lo rodea y así crear un confort en las zonas de rehabilitación debido a que la naturaleza da un gran apoyo a lo sensorio motriz ocasionando distintas emociones en los discapacitados. Dentro del proyecto se encuentran diferentes clases de piscinas como lo es la terapéutica y la piscina semi olímpica que acompaña a la rehabilitación, espacios de terapia grupal o individual apoyados por gimnasios y no cabe resaltar que la circulación por medio de una cinta que amarra todos los espacios y así articulándolos de forma que no obstaculice el paso de los discapacitados
