Consequences of covid-19 on foreign direct investment in Colombia
No full textThe world is currently suffering the aftermath of a pandemic that generated deaths, poverty, disease and a global economic contraction of 4.3%, caused by the rapid spread of the covid-19 virus (coronavirus) and a series of countermeasures to ensure the global health. Well, each country, following the recommendations of the highest health speaker "the World Health Organization-WHO", and under the autonomy to govern and ensure security within the national territory, measures are developed to stop the spread of the virus. This work aims to show the effects that the emergence of the covid-19 virus generated on foreign direct investment in the periods 2020 - 2021-2 in Colombia. A compilation and analysis of information regarding the economy and factors that affect it in Latin America and Colombia is developed to contextualize the general economic situation. Subsequently, figures of foreign direct investment were collected from databases, news and the bank of the republic to analyze and demonstrate the effect of the outbreak of the coronavirus in Colombia.En la actualidad el mundo sufre las secuelas de una pandemia que generó muertes, pobreza, enfermedad y una contracción económica mundial del 4,3%, causado por la rápida propagación del virus covid-19 (coronavirus) y una serie de contramedidas para asegurar la salud global. Pues bien cada país siguiendo recomendaciones del máximo ponente en salud “la Organización Mundial de la Salud-OMS”, y bajo la autonomía de regir y velar por la seguridad dentro del territorio nacional, se desarrollan medidas para detener la propagación del virus. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo mostrar los efectos que generó la irrupción del virus covid-19 en la inversión extranjera directa en los periodos 2020 - 2021-2 en Colombia. Se desarrolla una recopilación y análisis de información referente a la economía y factores que afectan la misma en Latinoamérica y Colombia para contextualizar la situación económica general. No full textThe implementation of the ERP SAP Business One system is very important for companies because they help to optimize and automate processes. The easy integration with other ERPs achieving operational efficiency in companies, currently in the In the Colombian market, there are quite a few organizations that converge and launch this ERP. For the Universidad América, this implementation was carried out, resulting in the following: optimization of processes, time, improvements in financial accounting activities, climate organizational and maintaining the continuous operation given the covid-19 health emergency since the financial area was virtualized. As a methodology to evaluate the impact, a MEFI matrix, the personnel directly involved in the process were interviewed identifying strengths compared to the system that was used previously. The different phases of this project suggested by the system provider and finally the benefits of SAP Business One are highlighted as well as its implementation and maintenance costs which is evidenced as a successful project for the University of America FoundatioLa implementación del sistema ERP SAP Business One es muy importante para las empresas debido a que contribuyen a optimizar y automatizar procesos. Se resalta también la fácil integración con otros ERP logrando eficiencia operativa en las compañías, en la actualidad en el mercado colombiano son bastantes las organizaciones que convergen y ponen en marcha este ERP. Para la universidad América se ejecutó esta implementación teniendo como resultados la optimización de procesos, tiempo, mejoras en las actividades contables financieras, clima organizacional y manteniendo la continua operación dada la emergencia sanitaria covid-19 ya que se logró virtualizar el área financiera. Como metodología para evaluar el impacto se creó una matriz MEFI, se entrevistó al personal directamente involucrado en el proceso identificando fortalezas frente al sistema que se utilizaba anteriormente. Se realizó la identificación de las diferentes fases que tuvo este proyecto sugeridas por el proveedor del sistema y finalmente se resaltan las bondades de SAP Business One al igual que sus costos de implementación y mantenimiento lo cual se evidencia como un proyecto exitoso para la Fundación Universidad de América

In this way, the orientation of the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 as a tool of continuous improvement for organizations, allowed the scope of an environmental management system that, in the first instance as the greatest element, will organize the environmental objectives, according to its context in order to reduce the risks of the hydrocarbon extraction operation, of this activity.En la industria de hidrocarburos de Colombia y en especial, las empresas prestadoras de servicios de producción de petróleos, generan cantidades de aspectos e impactos ambientales relacionados al inadecuado manejo de residuos sólidos peligrosos y que, en este caso, los residuos aceitosos “borras”, deben considerarse como una amenaza medioambiental si la aplicación de tecnologías y programas de gestión no se implementan adecuadamente. Treatment Alternatives for Paipa’s Thermal Waters for Integration into the Chicamocha River
No full textIn the municipality of Paipa, located in the department of Boyacá, there is a tourist complex that focuses its activities on the use of hot springs. The generated discharges are directed towards the Chicamocha River, which satisfies a great demand for water needed for human and domestic, agricultural, livestock, recreational and industrial consumption. For this reason, this project aims to propose a conceptual design for the treatment of water from thermal pools that favors the reduction of sulfate and chloride ions. This proposal is made based on the current state of the discharge determined by means of a specific type of sampling protocol, in which chemical analyses of the parameters of interest were carried out. These showed that the concentration of chloride ions exceeds 2305.5 %, where the established regulation of a minimum value is 250 mg Cl- / L.En el municipio de Paipa, ubicado en el departamento de Boyacá, se encuentra un complejo turístico que enfoca sus actividades en el aprovechamiento de las aguas termales. Los vertimientos generados que se dirigen hacia el río Chicamocha, que satisface una gran demanda de agua solicitada para consumo humano y doméstico, agrícola, pecuario, recreativo e industrial. Por esta razón, este proyecto tiene como objetivo el planteamiento de un diseño conceptual para el tratamiento de aguas provenientes de las piscinas termales que favorezca la reducción de iones sulfatos y cloruros. Esta propuesta se realiza con base al estado actual del vertimiento determinado por medio de una campaña de muestreo, tipo puntual, en la cual se realizaron análisis químicos de los parámetros de interés, que demostraron que la concentración de iones cloruro supera en un 2305,5% la normativa establecida de un valor mínimo de 250 mg Cl-/L
Evaluation of encapsulates for the control of emerging contaminants in water
No full textThe purpose of this project is to evaluate the encapsulation for the control of emerging pollutants in waters. Initially, a contextualization of the water problem and identification of wastewater was carried out, as well as the definition of emerging pollutants, their classification, source, destination and effects on the environment, humans and economically. Following this, current treatment systems were identified and adsorption, its models and kinetics, as well as adsorbent solids are presented to give an understanding of encapsulation. From a search and selection of bibliographic reviews (Scopus, Science Direct, Knovel) from the year 2010-2021, it was possible to recognize the presence of emerging pollutants in water in a global context, by continents and finally in Colombia. The foregoing made it possible to segment the research into antibiotics, analgesics and anti-inflammatories as contaminants with a high presence in wastewater, measured mainly in WWTPs, coming from hospital-type wastewater and from pharmaceutical industries.El presente proyecto tiene como finalidad evaluar los encapsulados para el control de contaminantes emergentes en aguas. Inicialmente, se procedió a hacer una contextualización de la problemática del agua e identificación de las aguas residuales, así como la definición de contaminantes emergentes, su clasificación, fuente, destino y efectos al medio ambiente, al ser humano y a nivel económico. Seguido de esto, se identificaron sistemas de tratamientos actuales y se presenta la adsorción, sus modelos y cinética, así como los sólidos adsorbentes para dar un entendimiento a la encapsulación. A partir de una búsqueda y selección de revisiones bibliográficas (Scopus, Science Direct, Knovel) del año 2010-2021, se logró reconocer la presencia de contaminantes emergentes en aguas a nivel global, por continentes y finalmente en Colombia. Lo anterior permitió segmentar la investigación a los antibióticos, analgésicos y antiinflamatorios como los contaminantes con gran presencia en aguas residuales medidos principalmente en las PTAR, provenientes de aguas residuales de tipo hospitalario y de industrias farmacéuticas

No full textThe development of this project aims to optimize the current preventive maintenance plan executed in the preform injection molds at Iberplast S.A.S; company that produces preforms for the beverage sector. Currently the most important productive area in the company is the production of preforms, due to the high demand for work in Husky molds it is necessary to consider a reduction in the time required for maintenance and an increase in the efficiency of the maintenance plan, intervening in the activities developed, evaluating their order, execution times, human resources, instrumental resources, among others; To determine the adjustments that will be made within the current preventive maintenance plan, it will be necessary to review the maintenance history, collect information on the critical points of availability of the mold, in the same way information on the technical sheet of each mold in order to contemplate in a way broader operation of each mold and the recommendations that the manufacturer has regarding the mold of each family (GPET, HyPET and HPP).El desarrollo de este proyecto tiene como fin optimizar el plan de mantenimiento preventivo actual ejecutado en los moldes de inyección de preforma en Iberplast S.A.S; empresa productora de preformas para el sector de bebidas. Actualmente el área productiva de mayor importancia en la compañía es la producción de preformas, debido a la alta demanda de trabajo en los moldes Husky es necesario contemplar una reducción del tiempo requerido para los mantenimientos y aumento de eficiencia del plan de mantenimiento, interviniendo las actividades desarrolladas, evaluando su orden, tiempos de ejecución, recursos humanos, recursos instrumentales, entre otros; para determinar los ajustes que se realizarán dentro del plan de mantenimiento preventivo actual será necesario revisar el histórico de mantenimiento, recolectar información sobre los puntos críticos de disponibilidad del molde, del mismo modo información sobre la ficha técnica de cada molde para así contemplar de una manera más amplia el funcionamiento de cada molde y las recomendaciones que el fabricante tiene respecto al molde de cada familia (GPET, HyPET y HPP)
