Diagnosis of the crystalization process of pentahydrated copper sulphate through bibliographic review
No full textThe purpose of this project is to diagnose the crystallization process to obtain copper sulfate pentahydrate. Initially, we proceeded to make an approach to the product, taking into account its properties, characteristics, applications and how an increase in the market for copper sulfate pentahydrate has been evidenced since 2015 in Colombia. Following this, various bibliographic reviews were carried out (Science Direct, Google Scholar, Reaxys, etc.), in order to have a more in-depth knowledge about the crystallization process and also to know the factors that are involved in it, to finally analyze the variables involved in crystallization.El presente proyecto tiene como finalidad diagnosticar el proceso de cristalización para la obtención del sulfato de cobre pentahidratado. Inicialmente, se procedió hacer un acercamiento al producto, teniendo en cuenta sus propiedades, características, aplicaciones y como se ha evidenciado un aumento en el mercado del sulfato de cobre pentahidratado desde 2015 en Colombia. Seguido de esto, se realizaron diversas revisiones bibliográficas (Science Direct, Google Scholar, Reaxys, etc), con el fin de tener un conocimiento más a fondo acerca del proceso de cristalización y así mismo conocer los factores que se ven involucrados en este, para finalmente analizar las variables que intervienen en la cristalización
Freezing point evaluation of jet fuel A-1 blends with biofuels and additives
No full textThe research work presents a proposal for a competitive aeronautical fuel in price and performance, made in Colombia, that complies with the ASTM D-1655 standard, implementing a mixture between jet fuel, three different types of biofuels produced in the country and two kinds of ice inhibitor additives, based on a one-factor and one-block experimental design consisting of four different concentrations of biofuels and a maximum concentration of antifreeze governed by the ASTM. Similarly, blends without antifreeze assistance were carried out under the same biofuel concentrations and blends of biofuel with fuel alcohol as antifreeze, all carried out with the 4 concentrations stipulated and without the presence of the additive.El siguiente trabajo de investigación presenta una propuesta de combustible aeronáutico competitivo en precio y desempeño, hecho en Colombia, que cumpla con la norma ASTM D-1655, implementando una mezcla entre jet fuel, tres diferentes tipos de biocombustibles producidos en el país y dos clases de aditivos inhibidores de hielo, con base a un diseño de experimentos de un factor y un bloque que consta de cuatro diferentes concentraciones de los biocombustibles y una concentración máxima de anticongelante regida por la ASTM. De manera análoga, se efectuó la realización de unas mezclas sin asistencia del anticongelante bajo las mismas concentraciones de biocombustible y mezclas de biocombustible con alcohol carburante como anticongelante, todas realizadas con las 4 concentraciones estipuladas y sin presencia del aditivo

No full textProblems were identified in the locality of Suba, where an urban design proposal is proposed, in the section of the longitudinal avenue of the west, for the sectors of the UPZ Tibabuyes and Rincón, considering the problems raised, it is evident that the area has a deficit in recreation areas, reduction of vegetation cover, shortage in the supply of public space, urbanization and pollution in ecological structures and social problems, due to this an effective urban design and public space corridor is proposed through sustainability strategies.Se identificaron problemáticas en la localidad de Suba, en donde se plantea una propuesta de diseño urbano, en el tramo de la avenida longitudinal de occidente, para los sectores de las UPZ Tibabuyes y Rincón, considerando las problemáticas planteadas, se evidencia que la zona presenta déficit en áreas de recreación, reducción de cobertura vegetal, escasez en la oferta de espacio público, urbanización y contaminación en estructuras ecológicas y problemáticas sociales, debido a esto se plantea un corredor de diseño urbano y espacio público efectivo mediante estrategias de sostenibilidad

No full textThis work is concerned about the increase in solid waste due to its massive production, which is why it has been sought to implement sustainable and environmentally friendly alternatives such as composting and the search for new microorganisms that help carry out the decomposition process of organic matter efficiently and quickly such as Hermetia Illucens. The following work focuses on the importance of the larvae of the black soldier fly (MSN) for the treatment and degradation of organic waste, for which a pilot plant is proposed in a market place called Tunjuelito, located in the city from Bogotá, where 13 tons per year are available, the cost required in the process is proposed and the technical specifications are established through a proposal to implement a larval rearing system.Este trabajo pone la preocupación por el incremento de los residuos sólidos debido a su masiva producción por lo que se ha buscado implementar alternativas sostenibles y amigables con el medio ambiente como el compostaje y la búsqueda de nuevos microorganismos que ayuden a realizar el proceso de descomposición de la materia orgánica de manera eficiente y rápida como la Hermetia Illucens. El siguiente trabajo se centra en la importancia que tienen las larvas de la mosca soldado negro (MSN) para el tratamiento y degradación de los residuos orgánicos, por lo que se propone una planta piloto en una plaza de mercado llamada Tunjuelito, ubicada en la ciudad de Bogotá donde se dispone de 13 toneladas anuales, se plantea el costo requerido en el proceso y se establecen las especificaciones técnicas mediante una propuesta para implementar un sistema de cría de larvas

No full textInitially, the general aspects of interest within the project for the cannabis plant are raised, thus leading to the study of the methods proposed by the AHP analysis based on criteria that represent domain in the selection of the system, giving as a result the method of super critical fluids for the design where conditions of direct and indirect affectation to the process are analyzed, plant capacity, operating time , material balance and illustration of equipment selected from the literature review. However, the financial analysis of the pilot plant was determined taking into account the cost of the initial investment, the income, the internal rate of return, the cost-benefit ratio that consequently offers a sustainable, profitable and friendly process

No full textDuring operations in the oil industry, the burning of gas in torches is common, it is normally a symbol of stable production, but the burning of these components creates emissions that are harmful to the environment. Meanwhile, with the flaring of these gases, there is a usable resource that is usually wasted, the flaring gas has components with a large amount of calorific value, an important measure that quantifies the energy that can potentially be gained from this wasted resource. The objective of this work is to evaluate the energy utility of the flared gas, estimating the possible energy produced with this usable resource by modeling a treatment process and energy generation using the Aspen HYSYS® simulator.Durante las operaciones en la industria del petróleo, la quema de gas en teas es común, normalmente es un símbolo de producción estable, pero la quema de estos componentes crea emisiones nocivas para el medio ambiente. Mientras tanto, con la quema de estos gases, existe un recurso utilizable que generalmente se desperdicia, el gas de quema tiene componentes con una gran cantidad de poder calorífico, una medida importante que cuantifica la energía que potencialmente se puede obtener de este recurso desperdiciado. El objetivo de este trabajo es evaluar la utilidad energética del gas quemado, estimando la posible energía producida con este recurso utilizable modelando un proceso de tratamiento y generación de energía mediante el simulador Aspen HYSYS®
