Dolce Vita Packaging Design
Dolce Vita Limoncello is a fictional hard Italian liqueur brand I created consisting of three different liqueur flavors—limecello, citruscello, and limoncello. Dolce Vita, which translates to “sweet life” in English, includes three unique bottle designs, merchandise, and promotional advertisements to establish the brand. The brand’s bright colors are inspired by colors found in Italian packaging and design. Catholic Theological Education in a Scientific Age
Abstract The goal of the thesis was to explore factors that contribute to designing theological instruction in a Catholic high school to mitigate the perception of science-faith conflict leading to loss of Catholic faith among youth. The thesis examines the impact of secularism on religious faith, Catholic theology of creation, the nature of science, the contribution of Medieval Catholic theology to the development of science, and the history of the relationship of the Catholic Church to science. An overview is given of adolescent developmental psychology, particularly faith development. Finally, promising approaches for educating for science-faith cooperation and dialogue are presented

Are You Dulling Your Child\u27s Brain? From Azure to Zaffre: The Need for a Colorful Childhood
This thesis explores how social media trends influence parents’ aesthetic decisions when designing nursery spaces, with a particular focus on color choices. Given that early visual experiences are known to affect infant development, the study investigates whether the rising popularity of muted or monochromatic nursery palettes — often favored for their visual appeal on social media— aligns with developmental best practices.
Through a mixed- methods approach that includes a potential survey for parents, interviews with professionals in child development and interior design, and a comparative analysis of color theory and contemporary nursery palettes, this research examines the intersection of beauty, social influence, and child well being. Preliminary findings suggest that aesthetic choices often prioritize visual trends over developmental considerations, raising important questions about how beauty is defined and enacted in spaces created for children.
Parents and caregivers are tasked with making the most of setting up their child’s environment in the best way possible. Color is a crucial element in the development of a child and it can play an important role in learning. The problem being addressed in this thesis is that social media may or may not have a vast influence on parent’s color preferences for design, specifically the interior of children’s nurseries. Bold or muted patterns and aesthetics surround infants and young children, which could potentially influence eye development and child development milestones.
Some parents opt for designs that lack color or only display muted colors that photograph on social media well. Some methods of investigation could include sampling a group of adults with a potential survey of how they chose their child’s nursery design and which design elements speak about beauty to them. Other methods include literature review, researching, interviewing professionals (eye doctors and interior designers), and comparing color theory to color palettes for children. The results obtained from the survey guide could be contrasted with research articles and books.
The conclusion reached is that color first presented to infants in the first weeks of life— may or may not be as crucial to child development as it relates to nursery designs
Laudato Si\u27 in the Curriculum for the Education of Youth
Abstract
In the encyclical Laudato Si’, Pope Francis underscores the necessity for personal and societal conversion concerning the care of our common home. This brings forth a crucial question: How does the Catholic Church educate and inspire youth in alignment with the vision and teachings of Pope Francis, particularly in a culture characterized by consumerism and environmental degradation?
By examining the central themes of Laudato Si’, we can compare a variety of texts to assess their alignment with these themes. This analysis will enable us to evaluate the effectiveness of current educational materials and identify supplementary resources necessary for adequately addressing these critical topics.
Overall, St. Mary’s Press stands out as the publisher offering the most substantial amount of material that resonates with the themes outlined in the encyclical, while Sadlier provides the least.
Pope Francis clearly articulates in Laudato Si’ that a genuine relationship with God entails the responsibility of caring for all creation. Consequently, the materials used for youth education within our formation programs should reflect this imperative. It is the Church’s duty to furnish young people with a clear and honest understanding of our divine obligation to protect the awe-inspiring creation of earth and sky that God has entrusted to us
A Holy Calling to Restore Justice to God\u27s Dehumanized Children

My thesis explores the retaliatory nature of the U.S. judicial system regarding cannabis prohibition, and the need for restorative justice because minorities and abject citizens are targeted for punishment. Statistics show that many Americans have been arrested, imprisoned, and placed on probation for cannabis use. Cannabis is a natural plant created by God. The Christian faith teaches that God is loving, forgiving, and merciful. By contrast, the U.S. judicial system is retributive and dehumanizing. Dehumanization is an injustice against humanity. Prohibiting human use of a natural substance also conflicts with the American Constitution, which grants certain freedoms and liberties to its citizens. Christians should be restoring natural laws and protecting the sacred dignity of God’s children
The Price of Silence: How Banning Sexually Diverse Books Affects Student Understanding and Inclusion in Catholic Schools
Diverse children\u27s literature plays a crucial role in fostering empathy, self-esteem, and inclusivity in classrooms. However, recent trends show a growing movement to ban books, particularly in Catholic institutions, due to concerns about sexual diversity. This paper explores the conflict between book banning and Catholic teachings, arguing that core Catholic values of love, respect, and dignity support the inclusion of diverse literature. Using a case study of the Diocese of Green Bay’s ban on Scholastic Book Fairs, alongside scholarly research on representation, this paper presents ethical, theological, and pedagogical reasons why Catholic classrooms should embrace diverse books and why Catholic social teaching is pointing us in this direction
