This explains the need to develop a "rational-reflexive culture" that meets the new demands of modern society. Research procedure and methods: the theoretical and methodological research of the work is based on the works of classics of Western and domestic philosophical, cultural, historical, and other thought in the field of studying the essence of social and cognitive phenomena; classical and non-classical methodological paradigms of understanding the concept of "borders" in ontological, epistemological grounds and socio-cultural dynamics are used. The main method is the classical method of dialectics, associated with the consideration of things in a broad ontological, epistemological and cultural-historical context; a method of comparative analysis, a combination of historical and logical, concrete-universal, phenomenological and systemic principles, a thesaurus approach. The results of the study: analyzed new meanings of the concept "border", "rational – reflexive culture" in knowledge and creativity; proven illegality model "narrow" technological oriented science and culture to the detriment of the spiritual nature of man; it is proved that as the modern world blurs the lines of demarcation in science, culture, art, insofar exacerbated the task of establishing priorities, implying the transition from a world of "pure rationality" to the life world of man; an optimal model of the conjugacy of all forms of human cognitive and creative activity in culture is proposed, due to the genetic connection of rational and other mental and cognitive forms of world development. Theoretical / practical significance consists in the justification and author's interpretation of the new understanding of the boundaries of science-culture-man; in proving the need to expand the boundaries of science in ontological and epistemological grounds to the "borders of culture"; implemented criticism of the technogenic interpretation of science (science as "sciepse"), with the connection with which the thesis is justified about the inexpediency of excessive rationalization of knowledge and cognition to the detriment of other ways and forms of world development

Social Networks as Zones of Digital Personality Construction: Current Problems and Prospects
At present, the Internet and its mediated communication are an integral part of everyday life and social networks are becoming the main platform for self-presentation these days. The main tool for such self-expression in social networks is the selfie. The rapid rise in the popularity of selfies suggests that the very practices of self-representation are undergoing a major historical transformation. Research purpose is to study the features of selfies construction. Research methods: as a research method, a questionnaire survey was used as a method that allows quickly and effectively to investigate the features of using selfies as a way of constructing a digital personality. Research results: the article considers the forms of body control in social networks in the practice of constructing selfies. Research novelty and originality lies in the fact that for the first time the practice of selfies as a way of constructing a digital personality is considered. It is shown that self-identification is based on how the body is evaluated, and not on what it is actually. It is revealed that the body has become a carrier of meaning and a platform for communication with feedback, and the Internet, which has become the main repository of global data sets, has assumed the role of this communication control over the body. It is determined that in understanding the essence of the selfie phenomenon, there are two points of view: the selfie, as a continuation of the tradition of self-portrait and the selfie, as a special unique phenomenon associated to a greater extent with network media content. It is revealed that the main motive of self-presentation is the desire to be socially approved, to get the highest rating and the most flattering or loud comment. It is revealed that the hashtag is one of the structural elements of the selfie, through which the process of constructing the image is carried out. It is shown that an important motive for constructing a selfie is the user's need for a certain visual statement, self-expression. It is determined that in the production of selfies, the user is often guided by fashion trends and ready-made templates, which means that by regulating the real body in space, a successful representation of the digital body in the network is formed. The practical significance of the data obtained in this work lies in their use in social psychology, age psychology, marketing, as well as for further theoretical development of this issue
The Effect of the Achievement Motivations On Sport Character: An Investigation On Elite Athletes
This study aimed to evaluate the sport character orientation of elite athletes in different branches of Turkish National Teams in terms of their achievement motivation. Two scales were used to obtain data for this study. To measure the sport character of the athletes, the “Sport Character Scale” developed by Chang-Yong Jang (2013) and adapted to Turkish by Görült and Tuncel (2017) was used. The “Sports-Specific Achievement Motivation Scale” developed by Willis (1982) and adapted to Turkish by Tiryaki and Gödelek (1997) was used to measure the motivation of athletes’ success. Descriptive statistics, normality tests, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analyzes were performed by using the SPSS 25.0 package program in the analyses of the data. According to demographic findings, the majority of 223 athletes participating in the study were male athletes (70.9%). The majority of athletes (54.7%) were 21-24 years old, 79.8% of them were interested in team sports; 43.5% of them were national athletes between 4-6 years. In addition, the majority of the athletes (33.2%) had the best Balkan Ranking. The normality test results revealed that skewness-kurtosis coefficients of the variables were between ±3.0 and showed a normal distribution. The mean of the variables was “2.54” to “4.17”; the standard deviation was between “0.55” and “1. 02”. Multiple regression analysis results showed that the relationship between variables was statistically significant (p<0.01). As a result, this study showed that there is a statistically significant relationship between sport character and “self-confidence”, “motive to achieve success”, “power motive”, and “external factor approach”. In addition, it was observed that “motive to achieve success” and “power motive” predicted the sport character by approximately 38%
Opportunities for Organizing Distance Learning Presented by the Moodle Platform: Experience in the Conditions of the COVID-19 Pandemic
The implementation of modern information technologies in education presents a promising direction of the pedagogical science since it makes it possible to prove educational services through a specialized information educational environment – a combination of information resources, technical devices, and telecommunication channels enabling the exchange of educational information at a distance. The goal of the present study is to analyze and identify the opportunities of the Moodle platform in education as a whole and in studying English at a university in particular. The methodological basis of the study is formed by the analysis of the experience of teachers of the Department of English Language, the methods of teaching English, and a survey of experts in the area. Using the Moodle platform in the process of teaching future English teachers allows both teachers and students to easily exchange files, carry out personal communication, and receive feedback. The presented electronic course allows teachers to create their own e-learning courses in foreign languages
