технологічну парадигму, яка вже сьогодні трансформує глобальні ланцюги
створення вартості. За даними Gartner (Hype Cycle for Generative AI, 2024),
LLM‑рішення пройшли фазу «піку завищених очікувань» і входять у «долину
продуктивності», коли основні вигоди матеріалізуються у вимірюваний приріст
маржі, швидкості виведення продуктів та якості клієнтського досвіду. Практична
цінність підтверджена емпіричними дослідженнями багатьох організацій та
бізнесів, що вже встигли провести свої експерименти.
Актуальність теми впровадження інструментів ШІ для української
індустрії ІТ‑аутсорсингу зумовлена трьома взаємопов’язаними викликами.
По‑перше, глобальна макроекономічна рецесія та відтік інвестицій у 2022‑2024 рр.
зменшили попит на класичні послуги розробки ПЗ, що загострило конкуренцію
між сервісними провайдерами. По‑друге, повномасштабна війна росії проти
України підвищила операційні ризики й витрати, зменшуючи чисту
рентабельність проєктів. По‑третє, клієнти дедалі частіше очікують, що підрядник
володіє компетенціями Gen AI й здатний інтегрувати їх у продукт чи процес, тим
самим підвищуючи цінність пропозиції.The rapid evolution of generative artificial intelligence (AI) is shaping a new technological paradigm that is already transforming global value creation chains. According to Gartner (Hype Cycle for Generative AI, 2024), LLM-based solutions have passed the “peak of inflated expectations” and are entering the “trough of productivity,” where core benefits are materializing in measurable gains in margin, product time-to-market, and customer experience quality. The practical value has been confirmed by empirical studies conducted by numerous organizations and businesses that have already run their own experiments.
The relevance of implementing AI tools in the Ukrainian IT outsourcing industry is driven by three interrelated challenges. First, the global macroeconomic recession and investment outflow in 2022–2024 have reduced demand for classical software development services, intensifying competition among service providers. Second, russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine has increased operational risks and costs, reducing the net profitability of projects. Third, clients increasingly expect contractors to possess Gen AI competencies and be capable of integrating them into products or processes, thereby enhancing the value of the offering

Exploring Strategies to Enable Long-Context Usage in Neural Machine Translation for the English-Ukrainian Pair
No full textNeural machine translation (NMT) systems often struggle to produce coherent and consistent output when translating documents sentence by sentence. In particular, they face challenges with maintaining consistency, resolving references, and preserving the overall text flow.
In this thesis, we explore complementary strategies to improve translation quality by using broader context. These strategies include a memory-augmented translation agent, paragraph-level fine-tuning with multi-resolution chunking, automatic post-editing via large language models, and translation reranking guided by quality estimation scores. We evaluate these approaches on the ParaRook English–Ukrainian parallel corpus, using both classical evaluation metrics (BLEU, d-BLEU, TER) and neural-based metrics (COMET, COMET-Kiwi). Our methods consistently outperform selected baselines such as NLLB-200, OPUS-MT, and MADLAD-400.
Additionally, we curate two new datasets with sentence- and document-level alignments to support further research in high-quality English–Ukrainian translation. Together, these contributions form a framework for effectively using longer context in NMT, leading to more robust and coherent translations for low- and medium-resource language pairs like English–Ukrainian. The source code for training and evaluation is available on GitHub, and the curated datasets and model checkpoints are published on HuggingFace

Sergei Parajanov as a place of memory in modern Ukraine

постаті Сергія Параджанова в українському дискурсі.
У першому розділі проаналізовано символічний образ Сергія Параджанова в
українській культурній пам’яті крізь призму концепції «місця пам’яті»
французького історика П’єра Нора та теорії «культурної пам’яті», запропонованої
німецькою культурологинею Аляйдою Ассман. Виокремлено основні асоціації
українського суспільства із С. Параджановим: фільм «Тіні забутих предків»,
заборони і арешт, належність до трьох національностей.
У другому розділі здійснено огляд життя і творчості Сергія Параджанова і
висвітлено «місця пам’яті» Сергія Параджанова в сучасній Україні. «Місця
пам’яті» митця розглянуто в контексті матеріальних форм (пам’ятники,
меморіальні дошки, вулиці та ін.) і символічних (публічні заходи, дні пам’яті та
ін.). Проаналізовано життєвий і творчий шлях С. Параджанова за схемою
«подорожі героя», запровадженої Джозефом Кемпбеллом.
У третьому розділі представлено характеристику Сергія Параджанова
сучасними українськими носіями культури. Висвітлено суб’єктивну інтерпретацію
митця та проаналізовано ступінь збереження та вияву колективної пам’яті про
нього.The qualification work is an attempt at a mnemonic and cultural analysis of the
figure of Serhiy Parajanov in Ukrainian discourse.
Chapter 1 analyses the symbolic image of Serhiy Parajanov in Ukrainian cultural
memory through the prism of the French historian Pierre Nora's concept of ‘place of
memory’ and the theory of ‘cultural memory’ proposed by German cultural critic
Alyaide Assmann. The author highlights the main associations of Ukrainian society with
S. Parajanov: the film Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors, bans and arrest, and belonging
to three nationalities.
Chapter 2 provides an overview of the life and work of Serhiy Parajanov and
highlights the ‘places of memory’ of Serhiy Parajanov in contemporary Ukraine. The
‘places of memory’ of the artist are considered in the context of material forms
(monuments, memorial plaques, streets, etc.) and symbolic forms (public events, days of
remembrance, etc.). The life and work of S. Parajanov is analysed according to the
scheme of the ‘hero's journey’ introduced by Joseph Campbell.
Chapter 3 presents the characterisation of Serhiy Parajanov by contemporary
Ukrainian cultural carriers. The subjective interpretation of the artist is highlighted and
the degree of preservation and manifestation of the collective memory about him is
analysed

Метою цього дослідження стало виявлення зв’язку між стратегіями емоційної регуляції та
патернами сексуальних стосунків в осіб з тривожно-депресивними симптомами.Emotional regulation skills and specific strategies influence psychological well-being.
It is also known that today, there are many studies in global and domestic science on emotional regulation and its role in human life.
However, there is a lack of research on this topic in the context of human sexuality.
The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between emotional regulation strategies and patterns of sexual relationships in individuals with anxiety-depressive symptoms.
