Abstract 
 
Objective, Looking commodification program on television shows Laptop program 
Unyil TRANS | 7. Commodification seen from their packaging changes or differently, 
more attractive so as to make the audience interested in menontoni. Research 
Methods, Uses critical paradigm and using qualitative research. While data analysis 
techniques use models coding open coding, axial coding, and selective codings. 
Results achieved, commodification conducted by  Laptop Si Unyil program done by 
way of pre-production item selection compelling coverage of products, the 
production process of shooting the good angle and post production editng material 
with additional text, animation and sound effects that support the impressions .. 
Conclusion, change impressions into a value that can be an advantage for the 
company is evidenced from the show is packed with the process of commodification 
on content production stages, impressions packaged in such a way to attract viewers 
so that the viewers can enjoy educational and entertaining shows without leaving the 
product item information presented.

Abstrak 
 
Tujuan Penelitian, Melihat adanya komodifikasi tayangan progam di televisi 
program Laptop Si Unyil TRANS|7. Komodifikasi dilihat dari adanya perubahan 
atau pengemasan secara berbeda, lebih menarik sehingga membuat penonton 
tertarik untuk menonton. Metode Penelitian, Menggunakan paradigma kritis dan 
menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Sedangkan teknik analisa data memakai model 
pengodean open coding, axial coding, dan selective codings. Hasil yang dicapai, 
komodifikasi yang dilakukan oleh program Laptop Si Unyil dilakukan dengan cara 
pra produksi pemilihan item produk liputan yang menarik, proses produksi 
pengambilan gambar dengan angle yang baik dan pasca produksi editng materi 
dengan tambahan naskah, animasi dan sound effect yang mendukung tayangan.. 
Simpulan, perubahan tayangan menjadi suatu nilai yang dapat menjadi keuntungan 
bagi company dibuktikan dari tayangan tersebut dikemas dengan proses 
komodifikasi pada konten tahapan produksi , tayangan dikemas sedemikian rupa 
agar menarik penonton agar penonton dapat menikmati tayangan edukasi serta 
menghibur tanpa meninggalkan informasi item produk yang disajikan.
