Effect of humidity on tropospheric received signal strength (RSS) in ultra-high frequency (UHF) band
The variation of weather conditions can affect the performance and quality of a communication system and sensor
network. Therefore, it is vital to explore the factors that influence the quality of the radio signal to adapt to weather
conditions. This paper describes the tropospheric effect of the meteorological parameter (humidity) for Ultra High
Frequency (UHF) band at KUSZA Observatory (KO), UniSZA, Terengganu. Received signal strength (RSS) and humidity
were collected using spectrum analyser and weather station respectively for hours in a rainy and a sunny day.
Statistical analysis was used to determine the relationship between humidity and RSS. The results show that variation
in humidity conditions give RSS with negative correlations in both conditions. The correlation of the RSS and
humidity at both observation days (rr =correlation of frequencies on rainy day, rs = correlation of frequencies on sunny
day) for frequency . MHz (rr =-0.423, rs =-0.382), while for frequency 945 MHz (rr = -0.512, rs =-0.631), frequency 1867.5 MHz (rr =-0.588, rs =-0.669) and frequency 2160 MHz (rr = -0.509. rs =-0.805). This study will benefit the active
spectrum users such as mobile telecommunications, wireless signal, satellite transmission TV and radio astronomy
expert in the management of radio frequency interference (RFI) for the observation and monitoring of the radio signal
transmission

entrepreneurial intention among young generation
The Impacts of HRM Practices, Work Engagement and Intrinsic Motivation on Turnover Intention: Literature Review
In the hospitality industry, employee turnover is extremely high which attracts
both researchers and hoteliers to discover the reasons for this phenomenon due to
the incredibly negative impacts of employee turnover on the hospitality industry's
success, stability, and growth. However, prior studies had highlighted the great
impacts of human resource management practices, work engagement and
employee intrinsic motivation on employee turnover intention but these studies
had theoretically and empirically investigated the influences of these factors on
employee turnover intention separately leaving significant research gaps. The
present paper aims to investigate these constructs theoretically in one model.
Also, the current paper has highlighted some critical research gap in the
literature of human resource management practices, work engagement, intrinsic
motivation, and turnover intention, as well as it has theoretically filled these gaps

focal point. The research continues with issues, such as security and privacy issues, lack of trust
etc., that arose from virtual space deployment in the marketing area. Contemplating the answers
to the problems that lie ahead, we propose the conclusions
The link between demographic profiles with depression among elderly women in private care institution
Depression among elderly women living in nursing home based on demographic profile become
a phenomenon in many developed countries. In most research, depression has been identified as a negative
feeling that can lead to death. Depression among elderly women occur when they are 60 years and above
once their children grow up and married. Then, there retired from occupations and their spouse died and
make they live alone. Thus, this study aimed to identify the factors of demographic profiles have an impact
on depression among elderly women. This research was conducted at a private institution in Terengganu,
Malaysia with 78 elderly women as respondents quantitatively. The questionnaires from Patient Health
Questionnaire 9 (PHQ-9) were adopted to analyse the risk of elderly having depression and feeling lonely
in nursing home. The result showed the factors of demographic profile have an impact on depression among
elderly women in private institution its strength and significant. As a conclusion, the study on depression
among elderly women in nursing home is important to raise awareness about this alarming issue in the
society especially among elderly women
COVID-19 epidemic in Malaysia: impact of lockdown on infection dynamics
COVID-19 epidemic in Malaysia started as a small wave of 22 cases in January 2020 through imported
cases. It was followed by a bigger wave mainly from local transmissions resulting in 651 cases. The
following wave saw unexpectedly three digit number of daily cases following a mass gathering urged
the government to choose a more stringent measure. A limited lock-down approach called Movement
Control Order (MCO) was immediately initiated to the whole country as a way to suppress the
epidemic trajectory. The lock-down causes a major socio-economic disruption thus the ability to
forecast the infection dynamic is urgently required to assist the government on timely decisions.
Limited testing capacity and limited epidemiological data complicate the understanding of the future
infection dynamic of the COVID-19 epidemic. Three different epidemic forecasting models was used
to generate forecasts of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia using daily reported cumulative case data up until
1st April 2020 from the Malaysia Ministry of Health. The forecasts were generated using a Curve Fitting
Model with Probability Density Function and Skewness Effect, the SIR Model, and a System Dynamic
Model. Method one based on curve fitting with probability density function estimated that the peak
will be on 19th April 2020 with an estimation of 5,637 infected persons. Method two based on SIR
Model estimated that the peak will be on 20th - 31st May 2020 if Movement Contro (MCO) is in place
with an estimation of 630,000 to 800,000 infected persons. Method three based on System Dynamic
Model estimated that the peak will be on 17th May 2020 with an estimation of 22,421 infected persons.
Forecasts from each of model suggested the epidemic may peak between middle of April to end of May
2020

and the relationship of these strategies with students' metacognitive and mathematical skills. The current study
followed the descriptive analytical approach, as it studied the relationship of teachers’strategies in teaching
mathematics with metacognitive and mathematical skills among eighth grade students in Amman Governorate,
Jordan, and the researcher prepared and reconstructed several measures: the measure of teaching strategies, and
the metric of metacognition skills and mathematical skills test. The tools were applied to a random sample of
students and teachers, as the scale of teaching strategies was applied to a random sample of teachers of (150)
mathematics teachers for the eighth grade, while the scale of metacognition skills and mathematical skills tests
were applied to a random sample It reached (350) students in the eighth grade in Amman Governorate for the
academic year 2019/2020. The results of the study showed that the eighth grade math teachers follow the various
teaching strategies more than their dependence on the traditional methods of teaching, and the level of eighth grade
students' metacognitive and mathematical skills was of a moderate degree, and the study concluded that there is a
statistically significant correlation between the use of Mathematics teachers for the various teaching strategies and
the level of metacognitive skills and mathematical skills for eighth graders
Emergent leaders and transformational in effective leadership development in information technology
The recent years have seen the growing interest towards effective leadership among
scholars and yet, studies that examine leader development are still very few. Information
technology (IT) is powerful and important as it can form and disrupt companies while also
imparting companies with potential to expand. Meanwhile, leadership is highly restricted
by context, and relevantly, to initiate the development of best practices for IT leadership
development, the present paper attempted to study leadership development in the IT setting
.Leadership was broadly reviewed in this conceptual paper, followed by a unified review of
literature concerning leadership in the context of IT. Three recommendations for the
attainment of effective development of IT leadership were elucidated in this study. Formal
mentoring and vigorous feedback incorporated into the development plan should be part of
the IT leadership development. For long-term success, IT leadership development should
be made a primary process. Equally crucial for IT are the budding transformational
leadership. IT departments should be the body implementing the proposed leadership
development programs, considering that this study has found leadership to be among the
most challenging skills to uncover in IT workforce. Training professionals can peruse the
findings of this study in improving the leadership capability and development in the
organization’s IT unit. The reviewed literature found thatwithin the IT context, the
quantitative peer-reviewed research focusing on leadership development is unavailable.
This denotes the need for more empirical works. Increased understanding of leadership
development will be of value to bothpractitioners and researchers of IT
