This study embarks into a doctrinal and qualitative research which involve an exploratory of some related regulations and policies as well as a semi-structured and interview in-depth with hotel industry players. Three reputable hotels were chosen to share their view, respectively. The findings of this research positively showed hoteliers readiness towards this current highlighted idea and predicted a future bright of this industry. However, a little doubt arises as to the limited effort of government in upholding Islamic tourism industry generally and Islamic hotel mainly. It is hoped that this paper may serve as an eye-opener to tourism stakeholders principally on a government side for a much more effort to be done in realising the vision of being a world leader in Halal hub industr

The rapid technological changes required that Technical & Vocational Education Training, TVET’s trainees continuously update their knowledge and skills especially in the machining sectors. Traditionally, trainees are only trained to be a good machinist through theory and practical sessions however; they do not equipped with the mastery of underlying knowledge and scientific principles. Present teaching approach of machining cannot provide solid solution on these issues. This paper describes the implementation of Design of Experiment (DoE) methodology on machining composite materials via design expert software. The main objective of this paper is to share learning experience of machining CFRP Al2024 and propose the generic approach of implementing DoE in machining as an embedded technique for trainees to re-skilling and continuing professional development. It was revealed that the generic approach established the relation between the cutting parameters and the response variable to perform analysis and optimization correctly

Fintech has levelled the financial playing field and enabled the sharing of economy between the underprivileged society and the wealthy individuals or institutions. And cryptocurrency is one of the most popular innovations in the fintech industry and it generally refers to digital or virtual currency that is intangible and available only in electronic form. The driving forces to the strong take-up cryptocurrency are its anonymity and decentralisation as transacting parties are not required to disclose their true identities and the financial transactions are not controlled by any central authority as they are managed on a global peer-to-peer (P2P) networks. Nonetheless, cryptocurrency has been exploited in the commission of cybercrimes and this can be best illustrated in the celebrated WannaCry ransomware attack in 2017 whereby the cybercriminals have demanded payment of ransom to be made using Bitcoin. Thus, this article attempts to explore the nexus between cybercrime and cryptocurrency, and to analyse the existing legislative measures in combating this issue. This study is a qualitative research that adopts pure legal research methodology by analysing existing laws on cybercrimes and cryptocurrency in the country. The output of the research is expected to shed some lights on legal safeguards accorded by laws in Malaysia

The organic pest repellent (cinnamon and clove) was extracted using methanol solvent. The filtered extracts were then evaporate using centrifugal rotary evaporator to get the paste. This paste was mixed with a small amount of methanol. The results showed that, an ant is move away from the food that has been sprayed with organic pest repellent in the surrounding plate of food. The Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0), which is attributed by the fusion of the physical, digital and biological world, has impacted all activities and industries around the globe. The media industry is no exception and has to embrace the new revolution regardless of whether they are in printed or digital forms. Online news portals are currently at the forefront compared to the print media as they have been established in the electronic environment prior to the arrival of I.R 4.0. Apart from that, they are at present not subject to the statutory constraints that mandate their operators to possess either the publication permit under the Printing Presses and Publications Act 1984 or any licence (individual or class) under the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998. Thus, the study will use qualitative research by analysing the existing statutory regulations governing the print media and the new converging communications and multimedia as well as secondary sources in order to determine why the present legal mechanisms do not apply to online news portals. Further, it will scrutinise the self-regulatory regime that has been adopted by the Communications and Multimedia Content Forum and the potential of applying self-regulation to govern online news portals, and perhaps the print media as well. To sum up, it is submitted that the self-regulatory style could be ideally used to fill the void in governing online news portals and other online publications in the country. The same regulatory regime could also be extended to the traditional media with the establishment of the proposed media council that adopts the same self-regulatory style to govern all media industry in Malaysia
