Development of the PC based integrated interface system of STEP file for CNC machining application: circular features
STEP is a general data format that observes the international standard ISO 10303-21. STEP
means Standard for the Exchange of Product model data. It consists of the 3D geometry of a computeraided design (CAD) model in the configuration of boundary representation (B-rep). By extracting, refining
and decoding the geometric data correctly, the data can be utilized for writing G-code for Computer
Numerical Control (CNC) machining application. Usually G-codes can either be manually generated by
skilled machinists or automatically generated by computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software. However,
manually generated G-code is inefficient and susceptible to error. Meanwhile automated generation G-code
requires significant setup cost. This paper describes the design and development of an integrated interface
system, an instrument aimed to be used to analyze STEP files and generate machining tool path based on
ISO 6983 format. This developed interface reduces the need for high setup cost as well as eliminates
human limitations. The interface at present is able of detecting circular machining features on the
workpiece. Circular machining features are created by 3D modelling software and retained as STEP file.
The STEP file which contains geometrical data is then uploaded to the interface system as an input file
which is structurally analyzed and processed. Finally, the ideal machining tool path in the G Code format
is proposed and generated. By bypassing the CAM software and its proprietary post processor, the outcome
of this research is important to enhance compatibility between different CNC machine systems
Auto-mat dryer
Home accidents cases in Malaysia are contributed by falls on the same level that due to slipping, tripping and stumbling. Home injury mainly happened because of not fully dried foot that led to slipping. The standard Foot mat used at home is not user friendly because it can lead to slippery. One of the main problems the inconvenient foot mat is always in net condition. Therefore, an invention named AUTO-MAT is introduced as an alternative way to upsize the drying capability compared to standard foot mat. The main components of AUTO-MAT Dryer include nichrome, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), rubber sheet, fans and 12V DC This foot dryer is designed by adding axial Fan, heating element powered by electric and activated by a mere of touch and pressure. This foot dryer is able to minimize the home injury caused by slipping and Falling. The-AUTO-MAT Dryer is an effective, simple, Low cost and has a potential to he patented and commercialized

A review of Islamic credit card concepts from shariah perspective in Malaysia
The Islamic credit card is introduced by Islamic financial institutions to substitute the
conventional credit card. Credit Card-I has played a significant part in the progress of
Islamic banking in Malaysia. A group of contemporary scholars have an unfavourable
opinion on credit card operations. They argue that it is a modern way of reviving riba
and a hilah (trick) to legitimise interest. The concepts of Inah and Tawarruq were
disapproved by the majority of the Islamic scholars in the Hambali, Maliki, and Hanafi
schools of jurisprudence, and some contemporary scholars considered them as sales
contracts intended as a legal stratagem to legalise debt with riba (interest). However,
this problem drove some Malaysian Islamic banks to come up with the concept of
Ujrah, which is accepted by the more significant number of scholars as to the best
substitute for Inah and Tawarruq. This paper aims at reviewing the scholars’ views on
the concept of Inah, Tawarruq and Ujrah applied in the Islamic credit card. The study
will examine the views of classical and contemporary scholars on the concept of Inah
and Tawarruq. It will then further discuss the concept of Ujrah and views of scholars
regarding the Ujrah. A qualitative method was used by adopting library research, and
the study mostly relied on primary and secondary sources of Shariah. The study relies
on the Quran, Hadith and jurisprudence to achieve the objective. The findings
highlighted that the credit cards based on the concept of ujrah (fee) are acceptable to
contemporary scholars if the structure operation did not involve riba (interest)
