Antiviral treatment options for covid-19 by reduction of viral load and viral shedding
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) virus is a public
health emergency of international concern, without known
effective pharmaceutical treatment so far. It is difficult to
treat infected patients who are experiencing acute
respiratory failure, liver or cardiac injury, gastroenteritis
and many other complications without any drug
recommendation. Reducing the viral load is the most
important key for Covid-19 treatment, where complication
due to infection is highly correlated with the number of
viral particles present in the lung and other organs of the
patient. Most antivirals are effective against a wide range
of viruses, where they inhibit viral development. Some of
the possible antiviral treatment options for COVID-19
could be discovered from flu viral treatment that had led
to quick respiratory illness recovery through reduction of
viral load and viral shedding
Keberkesanan peta pemikiran i-think dalam meningkatkan kemahiran berfikir aras tinggi (KBAT)[The effectiveness of i-think thinking maps in improving higher order thinking skills (HOTS)]
Education in Malaysia requires highly qualified teachers to meet the needs of the 21st century
educational system. One of the key dimensions of teacher effectiveness is teaching strategies. Higher
order thinking skills (HOTS) is one of the skills in teaching and learning today. HOTS is the ability
to apply knowledge, skills and values in reasoning and reflection to solve problems, to make
decisions, to innovate and to work on something. These skills also require teachers' understanding
and input to develop or implement them in daily teaching and learning. Meanwhile, the definition of
i-Think is explained through eight mind maps for its implementation. HOTS is also described for
their connection to the i-Think program. As such, teachers are the group or agent of change to meet
the Ministry of Education and Education Development Plan of Malaysia to enhance the country's
educational performance. Through the library analysis, it is hoped to create a positive mind set among
the teachers in actualizing the i-Think mind maps in schools. From this highlighted view, it indicated
that teachers who are always positive will also have a positive impact on student learning outcomes
and learning, whereas in learning lessons, applying own thinking skills is an approach that allows
students to solve problems and engage students in active learning environments. As such, this article
will further explore the importance of the i-Think application in enhancing high-level thinking skills
to produce students who think creatively and critically
Review of the elements influencing job satisfaction on job performance, with quality of work life as mediating in the Jordanian hotel industry
The hotel industry is a major pillar of tourism because of the services it
provides in the field of the national economy, as a result of the funds it pumps,
and as a means of obtaining the foreign currency necessary to implement the
comprehensive development plans in the countries of the world. This paper
aims to examine the factors influencing the job performance of the Jordanian
hotel industry. This study relied on the theoretical approach by reviewing the
theoretical literature and previous studies related to the variables of the study.
A survey of previous studies and theories related to the subject of the study was
conducted. Many factors have been disregarded in numerous writing in light
of job satisfaction and job performance, and in view of the survey discoveries;
there is a positive connection between organisation structure, leadership style,
job satisfaction, quality of work-life, and job performance. The present paper
proposed to the hotel industry to the firm-up interconnection between job
satisfaction, quality of work-life, and job performance. It similarly enumerated
equally theoretical and practical ramifications based on earlier writing and
suggested future studies to concentrate more on the factors affecting job
performance in Jordanian hotels
Penilaian keberkesanan modul pembelajaran kendiri strategi pemahaman membaca teks bahasa arab (MPK SPMBA) untuk pelajar pengajian islam di institusi pengajian tinggi
The use of reading skills strategies among students is one of the factors contributing to students'
reading and academic achievement in their field of study. However, many studies show that the
use of reading skills strategies among Islamic students is disappointing. The purpose of this study
is therefore to evaluate the effectiveness of a self-study module on Arabic language reading
comprehension strategies that have been developed to help them master Arabic reading skills
more effectively. The module is called the Self-Learning Module of Arabic Reading
Comprehension Strategy (MPK SPMBA). This module has been designed and developed to help
readers improve their reading speed and accuracy in reading Arabic material. The MPK SPMBA
is specially designed for students, teachers or readers with basic Arabic language such as the
basics of nahw, sarf and balaghah. It comes with the teaching of reading strategies adapted from
the SQ3R reading strategies (survey, question, read, recite and review). The research instrument
used in this study is a module known as the MPK SPMBA and achievement test consisting of two
sets of text comprehension test questions, pre and post test, and a set of questionnaire using the
reading strategy tested before the pre and post test. text comprehension. Data were analyzed
using t-test to show differences between study variables using SPSS-Windows program version
20.0. The findings of the study indicate that the use of SPMBA MPK has a positive effect on
improving comprehension and reading speed of Arabic texts among study participants. The
study's findings suggest that the MPK SPMBA should be used as a self-directed teaching tool in enhancing the ability of Islamic students to understand Arabic text reading more accurately and
quickly. The use of this self-learning module is relevant to the demands of the Malaysian National
Education Policy which seeks to "ensure that every Muslim student has the opportunity to pursue
quality Islamic Education and Arabic"
Social change postCOVID-19 in Malaysia: the density of social work
The COVID-19 pandemic is a global health problem that has given the greatest challenge for humanity
today. This paper discusses the social changes that have taken place on social network density after
COVID-19 hit the world. The social network density discussed is based on Social Network Theory
according to the current situation that has hit Malaysia. The methods used are based on document
analysis and case analysis from official documents issued by the government. The analysis revealed
that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on human health, social and economic.
However, seen from the standpoint of social networks, the COVID-19 pandemic has led to the
emergence of densities in social networks due to increased informal sector involvement in the
formation of social networks. This means that, as the number of social networks is formed, the density
of social network will increased as defined by Social Network Theory
Enhancement processing time and accuracy training via significant parameters in the batch BP algorithm
The batch back prorogation algorithm is anew
style for weight updating. The drawback of the BBP
algorithm is its slow learning rate and easy convergence
to the local minimum. The learning rate and momentum
factor are the are the most significant parameter for
increasing the efficiency of the BBP algorithm. We
created the dynamic learning rate and dynamic
momentum factor for increasing the efficiency of the
algorithm. We used several data set for testing the effects
of the dynamic learning rate and dynamic momentum
factor that we created in this paper. All the experiments
for both algorithms were performed on Matlab 2016 a.
The stop training was determined ten power -5. The
average accuracy training is 0.9909 and average
processing time improved of dynamic algorithm is 430
times faster than the BBP algorithm. From the
experimental results, the dynamic algorithm provides
superior performance in terms of faster training with
highest accuracy training compared to the manual
algorithm. The dynamic parameters which created in this
paper helped the algorithm to escape the local minimum
and eliminate training saturation, thereby reducing
training time and the number of epochs. The dynamic
algorithm was achieving a superior level of performance
compared with existing works (latest studies)
Kontraseptif dalam merancang keluarga dari perspektif Islam
The rapid growth of modern technologies in medical research has produced various methods and
tools for pregnancy prevention. There are many factors that lead to the high usage of contraceptives.
Nevertheless, consideration of the need to use contraceptives in family planning must be based on the
Islamic law. The variety of contraceptive methods and tools does not necessarily assure benefits and
suitability for women who intend to do family planning. This article is to highlights the indication of
using contraceptives as a family planning in the Islamic perspectives. This research is qualitative
study used document analysis method to analyse related data. Data were obtained from various
sources including books on contemporary fiqh, fiqh turath and medical science as well as fatwas by
the National Fatwa Council. Besides, data were collected using the semi-structured interview method.
Interviews were conducted with obstetricians and gynaecologists as well as mufti. The results show
that the ruling on family planning changes based on the extent of the needs of the mother and the
family in family planning. Several aspects needs to be considered, such as the mother’s health status,
the financial status of the family, and the needs of the existing children. Also, there are differences in
the rulings on the use of contraceptive methods and tools
