Empowering medical graduate teaching and learning experiences during pandemic with educational technologies
The current pandemic not only disrupts the healthcare system but had deliberate implications for the
educational institutions, particularly medical schools. Movement control order (MCO) have made
teaching and learning in the hospital, clinical skills laboratory and tutorial suspended. So, at Faculty of
Medicine, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin, novel virtual teaching using synchronous and asynchronous
methods were used to replace conventional medical teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic. We
organized webinars via Webex for synchronous learning. For asynchronous, we used Moodle learning
management system (LMS), called Knowledge and e-learning Integrated Platform (KeLIP) UniSZA.
Medical webinars were recorded and uploaded to Telegram group. Lecture notes, short videos on
clinical procedures and clinical scenario discussions were uploaded in Moodle LMS. To promote
student engagement, we create quiz gamification using Kahoot! to assess their understanding, and
integrated augmented reality application via image provided in LMS. At the end of the posting, the eassessment done via LMS platform. Based on quantitative and qualitative feedback, the students
appreciated technologies in our teaching and learning activities. Majority of the students stated that
they were given the opportunity to ask question and able to interact with the lecturer. The advantages
of virtual classroom when using technologies; attendees can watch anywhere, easily recorded for later
viewing, no room bookings, and no need for social distancing. While appreciate the platform, nearly
half of the students still believed that physical classroom was better than virtual classroom in term for
practical skills. Among disadvantages of virtual teaching, confidentiality concerns with recognizable
case details for clinical base discussions, security concerns with hijacking and attendance verification
difficult if attendee webcams off. For activities involve gamification and augmented reality, they
increase student’s participation and engagement, and enhance memory retention. For e-assessment,
it is paperless, and faster marking for objective assessment. The COVID-19 pandemic provides a real
opportunity for an advancement of digital technologies to empower medical graduate teaching and
learning experiences
keputusan mahkamah seperti United Kingdom.

Soil moisture and environmental temperature and humidity sensor-based data breaches in IoT enable irrigation system design using arduino and FPGA
In this work, we have successfully implemented a Moisturization sensor to detect the
presence of moisture and trigger pump to on/off depending on the presence of moisture in the
soil. The implementation of soil moisture sensor is done on the Arduino board using Yl-69
sensor and the implementation of temperature and humidity is done on Field Programmable
Gate Array (FPGA) device. Artix-7 FPGA is used for interfacing the sensor. FPGA device
not only displays the temperature value but also makes the whole system power-efficient. We
have also surveyed the required water content in soil for the ideal production of crops. We set
a threshold level of moisture for every crop if moisture will less than threshold then pump
will automatically start otherwise pump will stop. We have also observed that Sugarcane
consumes the maximum amount of water among the list of surveyed crops in Table 1. The
minimum amount of water is required by Bean. Therefore, pump up time will greater for
sugarcane and minimum for bean
Evaluation of default mode network in temporal lobe epilepsy patients and healthy subjects: a preliminary result
The default mode network (DMN) is thought to be impaired in epileptic patients,
where the functional integrity of its core regions compromised. Fourteen healthy participants
and fourteen aged and gender-matched patients with temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) took part in
this study. The resting-state fMRI (rsfMRI) imaging protocol was executed using a 3-T Phillips
Achieva MRI scanner at the Department of Radiology, HUSM. The TLE patient displays
decreased activation clusters in precuneus and supramarginal gyrus compared to the healthy
group. However increased activation clusters were found on middle frontal gyrus, superior
temporal gyrus, and angular gyrus compared to healthy subjects. The result from random
effects (RFX) on healthy TLE revealed that the left middle frontal gyrus, bilateral superior
temporal gyrus, bilateral precuneus, and right supramarginal gyrus were significantly activated
but the NOV survive was so small. The findings suggested that TLE patients suffer from
impairment in some DMN region, which may cause certain neuropsychological and cognitive
degradation
How to create a system ecological theory of the environment in revolution 4.0 era?
The ecological theory of the environment plays an important role in the development and characterization of an
individual's character. This theory will show the process of development that develops between the individual and the
environment. The character of an individual will shape from the influence of the surrounding environment such as
family, friends, school, teachers, workplace and so on. This paper will discuss the integration of environmental
ecological theory into aspects of Islamic and western thought in the face of the revolutionary . era. The ecological
theory of the environment will be based on Bronfenbrenner's ecological theory as well as Ibn Khaldun's ecological
theory. Research on three aspects of the activity, role model, and practice will be detailed. This method of study uses
documentary analysis based on Ibn Khaldun's book of scripture and Bronfenbrenner's writings. As a result of this
study, it is found that these three aspects are in line with human needs. Therefore, this study is seen as contributing to
the theory and can serve as a new reference and concept to society. Implications of this study apply the theory of the
environment not only in education but in all fields
Accurate understanding about letter lam alif in teaching and learning
Al - Qur’an is the holy book of the Muslims which is revealed in Arabic. Thus, every sentence, word, and
letter contained in it is in Arabic. However, there has been disagreement among scholars regarding the
number and pronunciation of Arabic letters used in the Al - Quran. The same applies to the pronunciation
of Lam Alif (ال) especially in the teaching and learning process. The purpose of this study is to examine the
scholarly disagreement on this matter and to determine which is the correct pronunciation of the letter Lam
Alif (ال). This study uses a qualitative approach through the design of content analysis studies. The study
found that among the factors that led to the disagreement among scholars on the number of Hija’iyyah
letters was to determine the letters Alif, whether it is Hamzah, Alif Madd or Alif not Madd. These factors
are also the origin of Lam Alif’s letter (ال) and its pronunciation. This study further reinforces the need for
mastery in the Arabic language especially involving Al - Quran such as Tajweed knowledge, and at the
same time proving the importance of talaqqi and mushafahah in the teaching and learning process of the
Al-Quran
