E-Learning and the purpose of maintaining the mind in Islam and its impact on teaching and learning
With the spread of modern means of communication, the concept of
Electronic Learning (E-Learning) spread, which means: education using modern
means of communication, from a computer, the Internet, and media, such as: sound,
image, and video, whether in the classroom, or distance education, with less time and
effort. And the biggest benefit, and in many cases the e-learning is in an environment
far from the teacher, which gave more opportunity to more people to receive the
education with easiest way, as well as its role in learning procedures and the purpose
of keeping the mind in Islamic law, and how it affects the purposes of the overall law,
religion, soul and offspring on the one hand, and also deals with the effect of mind
keeping in teaching and learning on the other hand, and this research has discussed
the definition The purposes of Islamic law, the definition of the mind, and the care of
Islamic law in the mind through the Holy Qur’an and the cleansed Sunnah, and also
included the effect of mind keeping on teaching and learning, and the research
reached several important results and some recommendations that include the role of
developing the educational process how to use the Internet with suspicion
Optimization in their implementation procedures
The role of social media in the spread of information - a study on the endeavor expansion between the appearance of texts and the sharia intentions
This research sheds light on the importance of social networking programs via the
Internet in the circulation and spread of health information and falsehood alike, as well
as discusses the dispute that occurred between contemporary jurists about the
expansion of the endeavor of Al-Safa and Marwa - casually - and does this expansion
fall within the endeavor or not? This expansion took place in two phases. The first stage
was expansion through expansion straight through the construction of upper floors, and
this took place without denial, and the second stage was carried out through expansion
horizontally from the supply side and this is the source of disagreement between the
jurists, and this research talks about photographing the issue and editing a place The
dispute therein, and the dispute that arose between the jurists, as well as the
preponderant opinion and evidence thereof, and the research reached some important
results that will be presented at the end of the research
The future of orientalist trends on internet sites and their impact on Qur’anic studies
Orientalist trends on Internet sites differ from the old classic form of
Orientalism, and these sites have varied among sites for Middle Eastern studies and
sciences or politically or socially specialized research centers and so on. There is no
doubt that the Orientalist movements have provided some services for Quranic
studies in the indexing, translation, and investigation of manuscripts ... etc. but they
have been right in matters and wrong in others, as some Orientalists attacked the
Qur’an and its sciences, which had a significant negative impact among the
generation of Muslims. The orientalist’s view of the Holy Qur’an varied in terms of
holiness, belief and idea in each of them, so their perception of the Qur'an differed
accordingly. There are literatures that require consideration, attention, and even
republishing for the goodness that it contains, and there are works that needed to
review supported by arguments and statement and making the people aware of it and
even should use our all sources to stop it from republishing it again. Likewise, among
the Muslims who adopted the technique of the orientalists and their literature as a
model for himself and started repeating and spreading some of their suspicions
(uncertainty regarding to Islamic studies) either intentionally or being ignorant of
what he means, so he should be corrected if he is unaware of it or she should be
answered by arguments if he was intended to do so
Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) to measure entrepreneur satisfaction
This paper reports on developing a conceptualization for measuring the satisfaction of
entrepreneurs. The paper, in doing so, first establishes a theoretical framework by defining
constructs of entrepreneur satisfaction from the literature. Secondly, the identification of
evaluating requirements from the literature for these constructs, and thirdly, the validation of
the theoretical model for measuring the satisfaction of entrepreneurs in Indonesia. The
theoretical model consists of 9 entrepreneur satisfaction. The empirical process of validation
employed data collected from 100 respondents of pilot test what Micro and Small Enterprises
in Pekanbaru Indonesia. The validation method aimed at validating the parameters which
measure each of the constructs by statistically determining that the sample used is adequate,
using the Bartlett test to ensuring the usefulness of the data for multivariate statistical
analysis, validating the measurement requirements as applicable to entrepreneur satisfaction
and determining the reliability of each entrepreneur satisfaction. All those goals were
accomplished. This coincided in the end result, perhaps even an adjusted statistical model to
measure the satisfaction of entrepreneurs in Indonesia. The design has been statistically tested
to become a valid and reliable design
A review on challenges in empowerment of post-menopausal women in preventing fragility fractures from a Malaysian perspective
The incidence of osteoporosis is continuing to escalate with the increasingly elderly population. The global life expectancy
is increasing steadily, and the number of elderly individuals is rising in every geographic region. Malaysia was projected
to have three times the number of individuals aged 60 years and above in year 2020. Like most other Asian countries,
Malaysia has a high prevalence of osteoporosis and its incidence will almost certainly increase together with Asia’s rapid
growth in its aging population. Similar increment pattern was also reported in the incidence of related fragility fractures.
Despite the significant developments in the pharmacotherapy of osteoporosis and post-menopausal complications, the
risk of fragility fractures is by far not being eliminated and there are still unmet needs, requiring broader range preventive
management steps. A systemic literature search was carried out with the use of specific keywords or phrases such as
osteoporosis, fragility fracture, and/ or prevention of osteoporosis, particularly related to post-menopausal women
(PMW) among Malaysians. Studies highlighted several common challenges in preventing osteoporosis and fragility
fractures among PMW. These include early diagnosis (physical examination, screening and investigation) and prevention
of osteoporosis, identification of risk factors of fragility fracture, limited education resources material that suite and
tailor-made for Malaysian PMW, and limited utilisation of home-based care in the management and prevention of
fracture among PMW. Poor knowledge among PMW on osteoporosis, prevention and risk prevention were also high. For
example, it was not uncommon that PMW were unsure about the differences between osteoporosis and osteoarthritis.
Some of the literature found that not only there was a lack of osteoporosis knowledge in patients but also among
healthcare professionals. Additionally, PMW were found neglecting the consumptions of calcium in daily nutritional
intakes. The majority only began incorporating milk (skimmed and full cream milk powder) into their diet within the past
few years after they were informed of the impact of the diet on osteoporosis, while others reported that they never
consumed milk. By understanding the needs of PMW based on specific population, a better interprofessional
collaboration between healthcare professionals and non-governmental services can be structurally planned. It is
imperative to develop effective educational program in order to make an impact on practice
Socio-demographic and clinical profile of mixed opioid and amphetamine type stimulant dependent subjects attending methadone maintenance therapy clinic in Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia: A preliminary report
In recent years, the increasing trend of amphetamine type stimulant (ATS) use among opioid dependent was strikingly
afflicted worldwide, including Malaysia.. A descriptive study was carried out to provide information of sociodemographic and clinical characteristics of mixed opioid and ATS dependent subjects undergoing the MMT program in
Methadone Clinic in Kuala Terengganu in order to enhance the management related to health and social effects. A total
36 subjects who fulfilled the inclusion and exclusion criteria were recruited and interviewed. The mean (SD) age of
patients was 40.98 years (SD 4.64), and the most common age of initiation was 15–20 years (42%). Most of the
educational background were up to high school level (44%). Morphine and methamphetamine were the most abused
substances. The majority of 83.1% used injections as their method of opioid ingestion, while 65.3% preferred chase to
ingest ATS. About 30.6% of drug-dependent subjects in this study were on MMT for a 4-year duration with 63.5% of
them were on methadone dosage between 45-70mg/day. Most of them demonstrated no history of arrested and
conviction for drug use (63.9%) or other criminal acts nonrelated to drug abuse (94.5%). This study provide update and
supportive information of socio-demographic and clinical characteristics of mixed opioid and ATS dependent subjects
undergoing the MMT program that may contribute towards comprehensive management to overcome the significant
surge of ATS use among opioid dependents
Investigating digital library success using the DeLone and McLean information system success 2.0: The analysis of common factor based structural equation modeling
In many years, libraries from government universities spent a vast amount of investment to subscribe to various
digital resources such as online reputable publishers, journals, online databases, books, monographs, and other
resources for information storage. However, prior studies reported that the utilization of digital library is remain
lacking though online libraries were able successfully find the necessary information. This is confirmatory study to
model and investigating the determinant of user satisfaction of a digital library system. A research model was adopted
from an existing model as Delone and McLean Information system success .. Data were collected using cluster
sampling technique. A total of usable questionnaires were used for empirical study purpose. The results showed
that Information Quality is the strongest effect in contributing the user satisfaction followed by the quality factors
(System Quality and Service Quality). In additions, the Preacher & Hayes approach was used for testing the indirect
effect. From this approach, partial mediation was occurred in all effects. Briefly, the behavioural intentions are greatly
influenced by the quality factors and Information System
Investigation of the bismuth oxide nanoparticles on bystander effect in MCF-7 and hFOB 1.19 cells
This study aims to investigate the effect of bismuth oxide nanoparticles (Bi2O3 NPs) on the radiation induced
bystander effect (RIBE) in MCF-7 and hFOB 1.19 cells line. The cells were irradiated with radiation doses of to 12 Gy
using 6 MV photon beam in a single exposure. The irradiated cells' culture media were transferred to non-irradiated
bystander cells hour post-irradiation. PrestoBlue assay was then performed in this experiment to assess the cells'
viability. Results of cell viability percentage in all bystander cell groups compared to the control showed no significant
differences (P > 0.05) for both MCF-7 and hFOB 1.19 cell lines. The test also revealed no radiation dose dependencies
for all bystander cells groups. The present study demonstrated that MCF-7 and hFOB 1.19 bystander cells were able to
proliferate (> 80%) after hours incubation with irradiated-cell conditioned medium (ICCM) treated with Bi2 O3 NPs.
In summary, the use of Bi2O3 NPs for radio sensitization in radiotherapy is safe and do not increase the RIBE responses
in non-targeted cells. RIBE remained as one of the most crucial factors that need to be address and considered for the
application of nanoparticles as radiosensitizers in radiotherapy
