No full textImam al-Shafi'i is well-known as one of the greatest scholars in the history of
Islamic knowledge. There were many aspects which caused him to learn various types of
knowledge which not only limited to fiqh subject, but also in many other subject areas.
This study was conducted as part of an effort to highlight the credibility of Imam al-Shafie
in his journey in seeking scientific knowledge. The researchers conduct descriptive
qualitative research in the aspects of data collection and data analysis. The results show
that there are several key aspects that have been the catalyst for Imam Shafi’i through his
scholar journey until his birth as a credible figure in the area of scientific knowledge from

No full textKajian ini dilakukan untuk melihat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi guru-guru terhadap penerimaan
peta pemikiran di Terengganu sebagai medium pengajaran Pendidikan Islam. Dengan memilih Model
Penerimaan Teknologi (TAM) sebagai teori asas, satu tinjauan soal selidik telah dijalankan di 10 buah
SMK di Terengganu. Data kajian telah dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan (Statistical Package
for Social Science) versi 25.0. Keputusan menunjukkan bahawa persepsi penggunaan berkesan dan
persepsi mudah guna dalam penggunaan peta pemikiran i-Think dilihat memainkan peranan penting
dalam mempengaruhi keputusan seseorang untuk menerima peta pemikiran i-Think sebagai kaedah
pengajaran dalam Pendidikan Islam. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif bagi mencari taburan kekerapan,
peratusan dan min. Ujian t juga dijalankan untuk melihat perbezaan antara jantina. Hasil kajian ini
telah mendapati guru SMK mempunyai tahap persepsi penggunaan berkesan dan persepsi mudah guna
yang tinggi terhadap penggunaan peta pemikiran dalam proses pengajaran secara umum dengan nilai
purata min 8.42 (persepsi penggunaan berkesan) dan nilai purata min 7.29 (persepsi mudah guna).
Kajian ini juga mendapati tidak terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan tahap persepsi penggunaan
berkesan dan persepsi mudah guna terhadap penggunaan peta pemikiran i-Think dalam kalangan guru
berdasarkan jantina. Justeru, perbincangan melalui kajian empirikal ini diharapkan memberi
sumbangan ke arah mempelbagaikan kaedah pengajaran dengan menggunakan kaedah pengajaran
yang membantu meningkatkan kemahiran murid dan kerjaya guru

No full textBidang pemikiran kritis bukanlah suatu bidang yang asing dalam pemikiran Islam
dan sifatnya yang sejagat turut berkait dengan petunjuk al-Quran dan al-Sunnah.
Oleh itu, kajian ini bertujuan mengkaji konsep pemikiran kritis Islam dan
menganalisis istilah-istilah berkaitan yang digunakan dalam al-Quran. Kaedah
kepustakaan berdasarkan kajian kualitatif melalui reka bentuk analisis kandungan
digunakan sepenuhnya dalam proses pengumpulan dan penganalisisan data.
Data kajian diperoleh daripada karya-karya utama ahli falsafah, ahli psikologi
dan saintis Islam khususnya yang banyak terlibat dengan kajian bidang kognitif.
Kerangka konseptual dibentuk dan dimantapkan menggunakan kaedah analisis
tekstual deskriptif. Daripada analisis dokumen tersebut, konsep pemikiran kritis
Islam dan istilah-istilah berkaitan dalam al-Quran dihurai secara terperinci agar
dapat difahami dengan sebaiknya tentang pemikiran kritis, khususnya yang
bersumberkan al-Quran. Hasil kajian mendapati, konsep pemikiran kritis Islam
bukanlah berasaskan aktiviti minda secara mudah semata-mata tetapi berfikir
kritis adalah usaha menganalisis (tafqih), menyelidiki dan mengkaji (ta‘qil),
merenung (tafakkur), memahami (tafahhum), merumus (tadhakkur) dan menilai
(tadabbur) alam ini secara mendalam dan menyeluruh. Aktiviti minda ini menjadi

Prevalence of demographic profiles and loneliness among elderly women in private care institution
No full textLoneliness among elderly women living in nursing home based on demographic profile become a
phenomenon in many developed countries. In most research, loneliness has been identified as a negative
feeling that can lead to death. Loneliness among elderly women occur when they are 60 years and above
once their children grow up and married. Then, there retired from occupations and their spouse died and
make they live alone. Thus, this study aimed to identify the factors of demographic profiles have an impact
on loneliness among elderly women. This research was conducted at a private institution in Terengganu,
Malaysia with 78 elderly women as respondents quantitatively. The questionnaires from UCLA Loneliness
Scale were adopted to analyse the risk of elderly having loneliness in nursing home. The result showed the
factors of demographic profile have an impact on loneliness among elderly women in private institution its
strength and significant. As a conclusion, the study on loneliness among elderly women in nursing home is
important to raise awareness about this alarming issue in the society especially among elderly women

what this technology can offer goes beyond simple help limits, is that it opens up broad
prospects for a new lifestyle. Those with special needs have high concerns, strong wills, solid
intentions and creative minds, which Allah Almighty blessed them to encourage and satisfy
their hearts. In the context of preface of the book “Nakt al-Humyān fī Nukat al-Umyān,
(biographies of notable blind people, with a section on the causes of blindness)”. Its writer
Khalīl ibn Aybak al-Ṣ afadī (1296 – 1363) pointed out a saying, which has high value, deep
impact, and significance tribute to people with special needs, where he said: “it’s rare to see a
blind man being a dull, inefficient, inactive but blind person only can be found as an
intelligent, smart and genius." This research’s title is "Assistive Technology for People with
Special Needs and its Role in enriching Arabic Grammar and Qur'anic Studies (Abd Allāh
ibn al-Ḥusayn ʻ Ukbarī as a model)". We will address issues of people with special needs
specially Abd Allāh ibn al-Ḥusayn ʻ Ukbarī as a model as he was blinded in his youth as he
was hit by chickenpox. The research seeks to discuss the saying: "Although Al- ʻ Ukbarī was a handicapped person, but he had outstanding efforts and contributions in enriching Arabic
grammar and Quranic studies." It (research) aims to explain the concept of assistive
technology and people with special needs, also to know our duty towards them and to
mention the most important and preferred effects of Al- ʻ Ukbarī. As well as clarifying the
