The concept of economic linearity that is, take, make, and discard, is no longer relevant in product design, this is due
to product design must meet economically, safely and reliably shown by looking at the attributes inherent in the
product, which aims to make customers feel satisfied, buy go back and recommend the product. However, with the
increasing number of products that are not environmentally friendly it is necessary to minimize the negative impact of
sustainability in designing products that require a recovery phase. This study aims to determine the effect of
sustainable product design in minimizing the negative impacts caused by attitudes and behaviors that are influenced
by the environment. The analysis technique uses PLS . warp. and the Process Hierarchy Analysis (AHP) method. The

Multi agent system (MAS) for bus driver duty reassignment in the event of late for second piece of work (LSPW)
Unforeseen (abrupt, sudden, unanticipated, unexpected) incidents (UI) are events that occurs without notice causing
interruptions to public transport services. In the operation of bus services, one of the sources of UI are bus drivers. For
example, if a bus driver comes late for his/her duty it delays scheduled departures thereby causing a ripple effect on
the entire schedule. There are three types of driver lateness that are; Late for First Work (LFFW), Late for Break (LFB),
and Late for Second Piece of Work (LSPW). This paper will only discuss the possible solution for a LSPW event. When a
LSPW happen, the predefined schedule remains the same however the duty needs to be reassigned to another driver
that is available. Currently, a supervisor at the bus depot uses a manual way to complete duty reassignment and there
are no automated ways of reassignment. Manual duty reassignments are slow and prone to errors. The objective of
this paper is to propose an automated duty reassignment in the event of a LSPW using Multi-Agent System (MAS).
MAS is dynamic, able to adapt to varying situations and quick at finding solutions through negotiation and
collaboration between the agents. Experiment were conducted using the AgentPower simulation tool. The results
concluded that the proposed technique is effective for duty reassignment in the event of LSPW
The effect of photomultiplier tube glass entrance window on plastic scintillator cast sheet photon dosimetry: A Monte Carlo study
Plastic scintillators are commonly used for medical dosimetry due to the density and effective atomic numbers that are
closer to human soft tissue. When a photomultiplier tube (PMT) is used with a thin scintillator, reflected photon and
electrons as a result of Compton scattering either inside the scintillator or PMT entrance window, might contribute to
a significant source of additional absorbed dose. Monte Carlo simulation was used to study the effect of different PMT
window materials on the absorbed dose of a . mm plastic scintillator cast sheet for parallel photon beam energy up
to 1 MeV. The additional dose in the plastic scintillator from 400 keV to 1 MeV due to sapphire and lithium fluoride
(LiF) glass are increases from 11% to 47% and 8% to 31 %, respectively. Despite of the lower density of Quartz among
other materials, Quartz and magnesium fluoride (MgF) demonstrate almost similar trends of additional dose
throughout the energies, which is closer to the sapphire. To reduce the unexpected additional dose, a plastic
scintillator with a considerable thickness of a PMT window should be adopted for the 'soft-tissue' dose response
The effect of marine parameters on salinity via statistical approaches
The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships between water quality parameters of marine water and to
determine parameters that affect much on salinity of surface water. This is a quantitative study which focusses on
modelling of salinity on three marine parameters (temperature, dissolved oxygen and conductivity) from six
monitoring stations in the Straits of Johor, Malaysia. Pearson correlation indicates the occurrence of significant linear
relationship between salinity and conductivity for each station. The regression model of salinity shows some
significant effects of a few marine parameters. A significant correlation of about 0.8 between salinity and conductivity
for all stations shows that their relationship is moderately high as compared to temperature and dissolved oxygen. The
fitted models indicate that similar ecological conditions can be observed at one of the monitoring stations for each
Western and Eastern parts of the Straits of Johor as the salinity is dominantly influenced by the changes in
temperature, dissolved oxygen and conductivity

The incessant incidences of kidnapping in Nigeria have grown into a severe National threat to
its society and is ravaging the country’s socioeconomic wellbeing. The study aims to explore the
national security and socioeconomic implications of this menace. The study applied the
functionalism theoretical assumptions and employed Qualitative Document Analysis (QDA)
based on the previous studies review conducted on kidnapping such as current literature, media
reports, and newspaper to figure out the gap and come up with new findings on the causes of this
menace. The study found that the government's reluctance to address such challenges is the force
igniting heinous crimes in the country. It is due to the negligence of the Nigerian government to
address the root-causes of the phenomenon such as; youth unemployment, quick-money
syndrome, hard-drug influence, and others. The study suggests some measures such as public
awareness programs, a synergic approach between the security forces and community police,
appropriate sanctions, phone sim-card registration, quit ransom payment, and job creation
Impact of high involvement work practices on employee performances in health sector, Pakistan
The purpose of this study is to This study was aimed to evaluate the association of different dimensions of high involvement work
practices with employee performance in the health department. These high involvement practices are shared decision making,
compensation and rewards, shared information, and organizational training. A survey questionnaire based on simple random
sampling is used to collect the data from employees of the health department that includes doctors, nutritionists, dispensers, and
other staff at rural health centers. A total of 202 survey responses were used to empirically test the measures and propositions by
using structural equation modeling (SEM). Results showed that all four dimensions of employee involvement has a positive and
significant impact on employee performances. Furthermore, it has revealed that shared information and organizational training
keep the increasing importance of effecting employee performances. This research has highlighted the essential
recommendations and directions for further studies. The stronger connection has been evaluated among rewards and employee
performances. Separate impact of such factors like competitive salaries, fair rewards, and recognition system have been found as
significantly associated with the higher performance level of the employee performance in the organizations

Tasawuf merupakan salah satu disiplin ilmu daripada tiga komponen asas ilmu Islam di samping
ilmu tauhid dan fikah. Ia adalah bidang ilmu yang membicarakan berkenaan kaedah pembersihan
dan penyucian rohani seseorang individu Muslim daripada sifat mazmumah (al-takhalli) dan
kaedah menghiasi diri dengan sifat mahmudah (al-tahalli) dalam usaha untuk sampai kepada
keredaan Allah. Ia memerlukan kepada tunjuk ajar dan sokongan daripada individu yang
berkelayakan lantaran dalam proses untuk mencapai kejayaan, sudah pasti akan terbentang
pelbagai halangan dan rintangan dalaman mahupun luaran yang tidak mudah untuk diharungi
tanpa bimbingan. Dengan demikian, tarekat tasawuf merupakan sebuah institusi yang
mengandungi pengamalan dan penghayatan tasawuf yang sebenar melalui pimpinan syaikh mursyid. Oleh itu, kajian ini bertujuan menjelaskan konsep tarekat tasawuf kepada masyarakat
dengan tumpuan utamanya untuk menganalisis pendekatan tarekat yang difokuskan kepada
peranannya dalam pemantapan spiritual insan. Kajian ini adalah berbentuk kajian kualitatif.
Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah metode dokumentasi dengan merujuk kepada
sumber-sumber sekunder. Dapatan kajian ini menyimpulkan bahawa institusi tarekat tasawuf
merupakan satu pendekatan yang efektif dalam memantapkan spiritual individu melalui
pendekatan syaikh mursyid dalam membimbing para salik
Analysis of the acceptance of newly constructed mathematical model for Islamic unit trust among public
A new mathematical model for Islamic unit trust fund was constructed based on the Integration model and the gaps discovered
from existing model of Islamic unit trust in Malaysia. The gaps are payment of zakat/tax and additional benefit for investors. The
aim of this study is to investigate the acceptance of public on this new constructed mathematical model. A total of 150
respondents were chosen among investors from Terengganu which has at least one unit of Islamic unit trust fund in Malaysia.
The questionnaires distributed consist of four variables, where three were independent variables and one was dependent
variable and analysed by using Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS). By using a Spearman’s correlation, it is found
that each independent variable has moderate and strong correlation with the single variable. This can be concluded that the
public has accepted this new constructed mathematical model. This study suggested that this new mathematical model is
implemented by Islamic unit trust management in Malaysia and also, for investors to choose the Islamic unit trust which offer
more benefits
