Volunteerism declined among university students: why do they not volunteer?
No full textIn this emerging economy, volunteerism has being part
of important activities in many countries. It is also contributed
towards the national development in producing proactive people
to contribute volunteering towards community. It is one of the
fundamental social activities which could be able to make our
society and living condition in harmony, peace, and enjoyment.
Volunteerism as an activity, is not money-oriented, but it
benefitted to individual or group receiver in community and
volunteers themselves. It is an altruistic activity. Globally,
volunteerism has been considered a substantial development of
the state, as it almost all the times enhance the social welfare
system and provides help for the needed people in society. Even
though it has been highly recognised as one of the influential
factors for social development in many countries, unfortunately,
the involvement of people in volunteerism is lately reported
declined, particularly among university students. The declining
participation of university students in volunteerism activity is
mainly as a result of a hectic schedule, financial problem and the
distance of the activity that is too far away from campus. Other
factors mentioned are mobility-related problems, have no
suitable time, health problems, have no required skill, and
focusing only on academic achievement

documenting the information of children, parents, siblings and nursing siblings as a result of fetal factors. eAS is able to provide early childhood exposure and education to young people, as well as exposure to the
importance and need of documentation for nursing children. The methodology used in developing the eNursing Kids application is to use the modified Waterfall Model to be more organized and managed. The
results of this study found that documenting breastfeeding online was very significant in addressing the
problems of breastfeeding because of the occurrence in breastfeeding. This application is a system that
capable of storing user-registered information and also operates to print birth certificates to be certified by
the district registrar at the State Religious Office. The e-AS application will be introduced to the state

that the eloquent scholar be familiar in the first sense of the pretense of words, and then look for
the hidden meanings of the author. The problem of research lies in the difficulty of the rhetorical
lesson of non-Arabic speakers. They must first master language skills and control the first
meanings so that they can access the second meanings that are essentially the subject of the
rhetorical lesson. In addition, the Arabic language teacher often translates these examples into the
language of the learner; if the teacher is not familiar with the source language and understands it
and interprets its mother language, he cannot communicate the meaning of those examples. Those
who do not master the translation go astray and mislead others. In this research, we have proved
the problem of translating the language of the Qur'an in general because most of the examples of
the Qur'an are derived from the Qur'an, and we have mentioned the causes of the problem of
translating the Qur'an. Then we followed that with the problems of translating the analogy,
metaphor and simile. We supported what we mentioned with examples of difficulty The Malay
reader to translate the Arabic rhetorical. The result is that Arabic rhetoric is translated into language
Malay is varied and makes it very difficult for students who non speak arabic to understand the
lesson Rhetorical. The translator must therefore explain this to the Malay reader. Finally, the
research provided some solutions to that problem
Impact of spiritual meditation on drug addiction recovery and wellbeing: a systematic review
No full textIt is well recognized throughout the history that religiosity, spirituality and the meditation
practice have significant effects to the physical and mental health. Hence, this paper interested
to evaluate the effectiveness of spiritual meditation on drug addiction recovery and its
effects on psychological and mental health aspects. Three main databases in medicinal and
psychology field were screened to identify the eligible studies which are PubMed, Cochrane
and Scopus by using Boolean expression. Fourteen papers were included in this review.
Standardized mean differences were calculated based on the intergroup mean difference
and standard deviation followed by Cochran’s Q and I2
determination for heterogeneity
analysis. The mean differences were statistically pooled in the meta-analysis and presented
as a forest plot. The risk of bias was high for each study and assessed using the Jadad scale.
The meta-analysis showed significant differences in across studies for addiction related
outcome (I2
=27%, 95% CI: -1.703, -0.454), anxiety (I2
=0%, 95% CI: -0.874, -0.634) and
stress (I2
=100%, 95% CI: -0.874, -0.634). In general, spiritual meditation may promote the
addiction recovery as well as improve the psychological and mental health outcomes by
reducing the depression, anxiety and stress symptoms. In conclusion, randomized control
trial on spiritual meditation gave positive impact on the addiction behavior as well as
mental health and clarifies its reliability on addiction therapy problems

recommended by JAWHAR and practices at Zakat Institutions in Malaysia for zakat on business and shares.
Based on the content analysis, this study found that some zakat institutions in Malaysia allow for the deduction
of financial liabilities in the zakat assessment

No full textNowadays, many hotel operators and homestay owners (host) advertise their assets for short-term
accommodation through digital platforms in search of a wider market while offering positive options
for customers in terms of its compatible prices and variety of choices. However, the recent Movement
Control Order (MCO) declared by the Malaysian Government to control the spread of the COVID-19
pandemic has affected Malaysia's tourism industry. This had caused concern on the effect of the existing
contracts entered by hosts and the guests via digital platforms as it was impossible for the parties to
perform their contract, especially when the customers had made full payment of the bookings. Though
MCO's effect has contributed great financial loss to the digital platforms and the hosts, the guests also
suffered a loss due to the travel restriction and the money they have paid for the travel. Many hosts
argued that since the MCO was an abrupt announcement from the government, they have discretionary
power not to grant cancellation of booking since the contract's performance becomes impossible.
Additionally, the digital platforms have provided terms or policies concerning the refund of payments,
which applies to certain circumstances and the procedures stated in the platforms' policy statement.
Thus, this article will analyse the legal effect of the frustrated contract with special reference to a
booking made via digital platform before MCO and discuss the nature of the doctrine of frustration and
force majeure in the contract law. The authors will adopt doctrinal and statutory analysis. Its findings
will highlight the scope and effect of the doctrine of frustration in contracts entered with homestay
owners via Malaysia's sharing economy platform
Comparison of conjugate gradient method on solving unconstrained optimization problems
No full textConjugate gradient (CG) method approaches have been instrumental in solving unconstrained optimization problems.
In 2020, Malik et al. have proposed a new hybrid coefficient (H-MS2), a combination of the RMIL coefficient and
the new coefficient. In this paper, we propose the new method, which takes the new coefficients from H-MS2. Also,
we will compare the new method and some of the classic methods that already based on the number of iterations and
central processing unit (CPU) time. The new method fulfills the sufficient descent condition and global convergence
properties, and it’s tested on a set functions under exact line search. The numerical results show that the new CG
method has the best efficiency between all the methods tested
