kaian-kajian lepas dan mencadangkan satu definisi yang jelas mengenai rumah anak yatim miskin di
Malaysia berdasarkan Akta Pusat Jagaan 1993. Kertas kerja ini ini merupakan kertas konsep sahaja
yang dibina berdasarkan kepada sorotan kajian, analisis dokumen ke atas kajian-kajian yang telah
dilakukan oleh pengkaji-pengkaji sebelum ini. Data-data sekunder dikumpul dengan mengkaji kajankajian lepas dari dalam dan luar negara berkaitan dengan konsep rumah anak yatim miskin. Dapatan
menunjukkan setiap negara mempunyai definisi yang berbeza terhadap rumah anak yatim miskin ini

No full textThis research presents a statement of the formulas used by Altabari where he had expressed in his
choice of reading, his criticism and also his correction of some of the readings and not all. He
sometimes uses the phrase " I cannot read it" or was marveled at some of the correct readings and
his response to them, and other formulas that he used to express his choice for some readings over
other readings. This study also showed the types mentioned by Ibn Jarir in his Tafsir
(interpretations). We find out that he was not limited to one type of readings but also listed many
types including Almaqboul (acceptable) and Almashhour (famous) and many others. Ibn Jarir
relied on the criteria that he used in his readings. Ibn Jarir had agreed on certain placements in his
readings with other scholars and readers and he mentioned his reason for agreeing. But disagreed
with readers in other placements. He also mentioned his reason for his disagreement with readers
as well as his argument on that. Ibn Jarir explained at the beginning of his Tafsir (interpretations)
that reading is Sunnah and if proven cannot be returned to its Sunnah. Al Tabari did not adhere to
what he had committed himself to what he mentioned in his Tafsir, and he may respond to some
recurring readings on the pretext of disagreeing with scholars of Tafsir. Or when he reads solo
from the rest of readers about the argument. His reading is often based on the pretext that the
argument has more than three readers. He may have corrected abnormal readings and made it
permissible on the pretext of its correctness in Arabic without considering its validity of its origin
and approval to write The Ottoman Quran. And the result is that Ibn Jarir did not adhere to the
method he mentioned in his Tafsir. And that is probably due to the involvement of Altabari and
his skill in this domain, there is no need to elaborate nor fully adjust his method, as well as because he lived in a time full of scientists and readers interested in this great science which does not need
clarification more than mentioned because it is known to them

No full textMotor vehicle insurance is one of the general insurance types that provide coverage for loss, damages,
and disappearance of a motor vehicle due to risks experienced by the covered object. The product
illustration of motor vehicle insurance is generally presented in a condensed form, containing few pages
and limited information. Based on a product illustration of motor vehicle sharia insurance issued by
PT. Asuransi Tri Pakarta (TRIPA) treated as a case study, an alternative version of product illustration
in form of a table of integration model was designed to not only provided general information but also
vehicle prices, values of premiums, tabarru, ujrah, investment, insurance costs, and surplus (if any). The
partitions also performed on the additional protection offered by TRIPA so that the benefits that would
be received by the insured would be greater. The generated table of integration model presents richer
information regarding the insurance products, better scheme, and transparency in the management of
total premiums

Good performance can also be supported by the presence of occupational safety and health guarantees from the company. The Implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) system also influences employee performance. This study aims to determine the effect of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) on the performance of midwives at the XYZ Islamic Hospital Fetomatenal Installation Riau Province, Indonesia. The results of analyze of primary data using SPSS Version 23, it can be concluded that the work safety variable has a significant effect on performance, knowing that occupational health variables have a significant effect on performance. In addition, it can be concluded that occupational safety and health variables together have a significant influence on performance variables
Reviewing the subjective wellbeing of elderly
No full textWhile research has addressed the spiritual needs of patients with chronic and life-jeopardizing diseases, there is
limited knowledge about the wellbeing and social needs of the elderly living in private residential institutions. The
purpose of this study is to examine whether social needs, social support, emotional support, or spiritual support
enhance the beneficial effects of personal wellbeing among the elderly. A cross-sectional study was conducted at
Nurul Saadah Institution in Terengganu, Malaysia. Questionnaires were obtained from 73 elderly aged 50 - 89
years. A majority of the participants reported feeling isolated at their homes rather than in the institution.
Emotional and social supports are of minimal significance, while spiritual support is of maximum significance to the
elderly population’s wellbeing. Furthermore, elderly who maintain frequent contact with their relatives or friends
are more optimistic than those who do not maintain such contact. Social networks are significantly correlated with
the elderly's wellbeing in this study
A study on the efficiency and stability of different categories of banks in Malaysia
No full textThis paper aims to gain new insights on efficiency and stability in a dual banking system. It
evaluates the efficiency level and stability performance of two types of bank operating in
Malaysia, i.e. conventional and Islamic, between 2012 to 2017. The data was extracted from
Central Bank of Malaysia (BNM) and annual reports of individual banks. Z-score and data
envelopment analysis (DEA) were employed to evaluate bank efficiency and stability,
respectively. T-test and panel data regression were used in determining the disparity in stability
performance. Interestingly, the results reveal different impacts of efficiency and stability on both
types of banking system. It is found that conventional banks are less likely to experience
bankruptcy and have better financial health. The Islamic banks, however, are found to be
inefficient and more unstable compared to conventional banks. The results suggest that Islamic
banks need to capitalize the effect of leverage, cost and production efficiency and economies of
scale
