    No full text
The Diamond Framework of an Ibadah-Friendly Hospital is a model illustrating the important aspects and facets of an ideal hospital with a holistic approach (uslub *iamb) in patient care. The framework was designed back in 2004 but it was only in the year 2015 that it first attracted international interest. It summarizes the four elements that contributes to the approach, grounded by the Tentindic paradigm. and guided by the purposes of the syari'ah (maqasid al-syari 'alt) and the Islamic legal maxims (qawalel al-Mb:nab). A brief appraisal of studies was performed to explore available publications related to the elements of the concept. Revisiting the diamond framework, four aspects form the center of the diamond model ( I) patients or clients. (2) medical/ non-medical healthcare providers, (3) facilities/ infrastructures, and (4) hospital policies. Balance of the four facets, ( I) education, (2) training, (3) research, and (4) standards, is important in providing services, and avenue in promoting spiritual, physical, and mental health for all who are involved. Based on these elements, a literature review on related papers and studies were obtained from electronic and manual searches. Keywords used included: qbadah-friendly' (or mesra-ibadah). 'Muslim-friendly'. along with 'hospital' or 'health services'. These included publications in English or Malay/ Indonesian languages since the year 2005. Publications from Malaysia mostly focused on the concept of ibadah-friendly hospital or health services. Recent papers highlighted the need of concept in relation to medical tourism. Others included surveys on the effectiveness of personnel empowerment, spiritual support, and disability assessment. The term 'Muslim-friendly' are more widely used in international papers. The trend was more on Muslim chaplaincy, gender preferences, religious and cultural diversity, Muslim-friendly services/ facilities, and end-of-life services. Efforts in research play an integral role in providing evidence-based solutions related to all aspects of the framework including needs assessment and module development

Background: S. aureus is a commensal, opportunistic pathogen that capable of causing a wide variety of infections, ranging from mild skin lesions to lifethreatening conditions. The emergence of S. aureus acquiring resistance towards multiple antimicrobials has become a major public health concern seen in many countries. The present research was done to study the genotypic characterization of MDRSA isolated from livestock farmers in Peninsular Malaysia. Methodology: 28 out of 140 S. aureus isolates obtained from livestock handlers were identified to be MDRSA. The antibiogram of all S. aureus isolates towards 19 different antibiotics were determined prior to the selection. The selected isolates were subjected to PCR to determine the presence of various genes that encoded for different antimicrobial resistances mechanisms and virulence factors. Spa and agr typing were carried out to determine the genotypes of the isolates. Results: The presence of several antimicrobial resistance genes were confirmed. Meanwhile, virulence genes that aid the colonization and biofilm formation of MDRSA were also detected. 17 different spa types were detected, with t189 being the predominant genotype and only agr type I and II were detected in this study. Conclusion: The findings demonstrated the presence of various antimicrobial resistance and virulence genes among the MDRSA isolated from livestock farmers in Peninsular Malaysia

A home helper is in high demand these days because it relieves the stress of doing household chores. Home helpers are usually self-employed and work part-time in their clients' homes. Be that as it may, having domestic helper departments within the nearby local area is annoying since residents, in general, have no foggy idea of when or how to contact the person providing these types of help. Examples of departments that could be offered include escort departments, garden maintenance , dinner planning, pet grooming, assistance with family tasks, or even friendship for the elderly. It is clear that there is a gap between the specialized household cooperatives and the neighboring local area that requested the departments. Usually, individuals introducing departments present their administrations by using flyers or bypassing their phone numbers to individuals. This is definitely not an accurate display system because the dispersion of the data is limited to just a small aggregation of the surrounding local area. Going forward, I-HomeHelper acts as a unique stage for people to bring their department to an end through openness who are asking their departments to take advantage of current developments in Global Positioning Systems ( GPS ) with Industry Revolution 4.0 ( IR 4.0). IHomeHelper authorizes to make an orderly reservation for the necessary departments and also fills as a stage for the advancement of the various departments accessible. The finer details of departments that include costs, name of home partners, and contact numbers are likewise shown on the advanced page so that the general community can choose which departments meet their models. This app is expected to create an ecosystem for holistic critical development for these freelance people and benefit an audience that really needs help with family chores or home maintenance

Housing is one of the eight domains of the concept of age-friendly cities or environments of the World Health Organization (WHO). A healthy community ensures the availability of safe, decent, and affordable housing that supports the health of its occupants. Human spends more than 50 percent of his time inside the house, studies have shown that the built environment can affect human health. The unhealthy house can cause many diseases. Unhealthy houses increase the number of asthma, respiratory and skin allergies and lung diseases. Also accidents and domestic injuries are more in these houses. In addition unhealthy houses affect mental and social well-being such as: depression, isolation, stress and behavioral abnormalities. The “Healthy House” is not just designing healthy and hygienic shelter, but also includes complete physical, mental and social well-being in the house and the environment. Thus, the purpose of this paper is about information on creating a healthy home environment in Malaysia

Mangifera sp belongs to the family Anacardiaceae can easily be found all over tropical regions in this world, cheaper and less side effects compare to the standard drug antibiotics. In addition, Mangifera sp. have been reports as medicinal plant that possessed antibacterial activity against human pathogens. In this study, the effect of Mangifera sp leaves microwave extraction of were investigated. Standard methods were used in determine the Minimum Inhibition Concentration (MIC) using disc-diffusion agar and 96 well plate against various bacteria namely Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterococcus faecalis, Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella enterica, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Acinetobacter baumannii. Effect of microwave extraction of sample Mangifera was observed using few timelines such as soxhlet, 2 min, 5 min, 8 min, 10 min and 12 min. The result obtained showed that 10 min sample (M10) was the optimum time and have highest antibacterial effect compare to others timelines. M10 was used to against Acinetobacter baumannii and showed great outcome since it has zone of inhibitions of 20 mm (200 mg/ml) and MIC of 6.125 mg/ml. In summary, Mangifera sp. exhibited significant antimicrobial activity comparable to gentamycin as positive control and optimum microwave time for sample Mangifera sp is 10 min

The method ofthe nonlinear conjugate gradient is widely used in solving large-scale unconstrained optimization since been proven in solving optimization problems without using large memory storage. In this paper, we proposed a new modification of the Hestenes-Stiefel conjugate gradient parameter that fulfils the condition of sufficient descent using a strong Wolfe-Powell line search. Besides, the conjugate gradient method with the proposed conjugate gradient also guarantees low computation of iteration and CPU time by comparing with other classical conjugate gradient parameters. Numerical results have shown that the conjugate gradient method with the proposed conjugate gradient parameter performed better than the conjugate gradient method with other classical conjugate gradient parameters
