Effects of Different Harvesting Ages on Chemical Composition of Five Napier Grass (Pennisetum Purpureum) Varieties
The objective of this study is to determine the effects of the different harvesting ages (45 days, 60 days and 75 days) on the chemical composition of five Napier grass varieties. This research was conducted at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) Farm in Pasir Akar, Besut, Terengganu. The proximate analysis was used to analyze the chemical compositions of moisture, ash, crude fiber, crude protein and fat, while the mineral compositions of magnesium, potassium, aluminium, phosphorus, and calcium were analyzed and measured using the dry ashing method and Induced Couple Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES). The findings of this study showed that most chemical compositions of five Napier varieties were decreased (p < 0.05) as harvesting age increased. The proximate composi-tions of all varieties show significantly decreased (p < 0.05) as age increased which is the moisture, ash, crude fiber, crude protein, and fat were decreased at age 75 days. Among the five varieties, Dwarf Napier shows the highest of crude protein (25.51%) followed by In-dia Napier (22.44%), Uganda Napier (18.45%), Red Napier (18.26%) and Zanzibar Napier (16.78%), respectively. The mineral composi-tions of potassium and phosphorus of five varieties were decreased as age harvesting increased. Thus, this study showed that the harvest-ing ages affect to the chemical composition of the Napier grass and day 45 is the optimum age for harvesting which is providing high nutritive value of animal feed
Assessment of Seasonal and Spatial Surface Marine Water Quality Variation in Semerak River Estuary, Malaysia
Mangrove estuary is a part of the mangrove ecosystem which plays an important role for the whole ecosystem. Purposely, this study is to assess the spatial and seasonal variation of surface marine water quality in Semerak River estuary. Dissolved oxygen (DO), unionized ammonia (NH3N), total suspended solid (TSS), nitrate (NO3), oil and grease (O&G), phosphate (PO4), faecal coliform (FC), pH, salinity and conductivity are the measured parameters using in-situ and ex-situ technique. Surface marine water samples collected in two mon-soon -Southwest Monsoon (July 2016 to September 2016) and Northeast Monsoon (November 2016 to January 2017). The analytical and statistical results indicate that the surface water of the Semerak River estuary that the possible pollution sources coming from major agri-culture, fertilizers, fishing boat and sand mining, natural environment from weathering of geologic sources, surface runoff and oil-spill from fishing boat. Marine water samples of future monitoring studies in mangrove estuary will benefit by enabling understanding of pollution loading and coastal water quality. It is essential to plan a workable water quality modelling as powerful tool to simulate marine water quality and forecast future consequences to facilitate mangrove biodiversity conservation. The chemical composition of surface marine water in both season is strongly influenced by anthropogenic inputs
Evaluation on Accessibility and Usage of Information and Communication Technology (ICT): Insights from Smallholders in Johor, Malaysia
In today’s age of modernization, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has played a very important role in the development of agriculture sector. This technology has brought a significant change in agricultural development where farmers can directly communi-cate with traders, government, buyers, and producers. However, due to lack of knowledge and information, farmers are not getting the benefits from these technologies. To understand this, a study was conducted to find out the level of accessibility of ICTs among small-holder farmers. To further understand this issue, the study aims to determine the determinants or critical factors that influence the level of ICT accessibility among oil palm smallholders. A random sampling technique was used to select a total of 85 smallholders in the study area while an administered structured interview schedule on the selected respondents were used for data collection. Frequency counts, percentages and a multiple regression analysis were used in the data analysis. Results revealed that majority of the respondents were males (96.5%), a high percentage (71.8%) chose to use personal computer as their ICT tools while 24% used mobile phone to get access or gain more agricultural and inputs information. The paper concluded that network factor and socio-economics such as age and educa-tional level were the most significant factors that influenced the accessibility of ICTs among oil palm smallholders in Johor, West Ma-laysia
Proximate and Mineral Compositions of Rice Field Eel Monopterus Albus
Rice field eel (Monopterus albus) is an air breather freshwater fish that can be found extensively in paddy field area in Malaysia. It has high economic value all over Asia and used as folk remedies for various diseases. Mineral compositions play a vital role in various metabolisms though it's required in a minute amount in the human body. Proximate compositions and selected minerals compositions were determined in Monopterus albus. The study found that Monopterus albus was high in protein content (50.07%-74.31%) and low in lipid (2.26%-2.66%), which suggests this fish species suitable to be consumed by various human conditions. The amplest macroelement was Calcium with a concentration of 29127.00 mg/Kg - 50468.50 mg/Kg, followed by Phosphorus and Magnesium, 21290.00 mg/Kg - 32975.50 mg/Kg and 1264.50 mg/Kg - 1638.50 mg/Kg respectively. Zinc was the dominant microelement found in Monopterus albus with a concentration of 44.17±1.20 mg/Kg followed by Iron, Manganese, Copper, and Chromium with concentration range of 32.60 mg/Kg - 38.6 mg/Kg, 3.40 mg/Kg – 22.65 mg/Kg, 0.97 mg/Kg - 1.07 mg/Kg and 0.59 mg/Kg - 0.78 mg/Kg respectively. The results of this study will be further used to promote fish-based medication and remedies benefit to human
Environmental Management on Natural River Based on Water Quality Deterioration in Terengganu River Basin, Terengganu, Malaysia
This study is aimed to look at the level of water quality deterioration in Terengganu River Basin. Environmental management studies on
the deterioration of water quality in Terengganu River Basin have been using data collection and analysis methods. The Gravimetric
method was used to analysis the TSS measured in mg/L. 250 ml water samples was needed for each study area (each station). All preparation
and preservation of the samples are in accordance with standard procedures provided by the American Public Health Society
(APHA) and United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). The results show that Terengganu River Basin is classified in
level III that is contaminated. The Terengganu River Basin is contaminated at the downstream to the middle of the river due to anthropogenic
activity. Moreover, the results indicate that the amount of AN and TSS is higher and is a major contributor to the deterioration of
water quality in the Terengganu River Basin. Management of water resources should be improved and noted. This study has proposed
several steps in managing water resources such as settlement of land use solutions, regulatory methods, river quality monitoring programs,
minimizing waste, wall construction, the use of Geographic Information System (GIS) and legislative measures

أسباب المفردات الفقهية عند أئمة المذاهب
Many followers do not understand the disagreement and differences in opinion amongst Islamic jurists. Adequate explanation regarding the various motives for jurisprudential vocabulary by Imams of the schools of Islamic jurisprudence could provide followers with useful information. This study aims to provide detailed explanation about the rationale behind jurisprudential vocabulary in order to increase understanding of religion. The study focuses on religious texts and how to deal with issues whose rules are not established. The researcher used inductive and comparative methods to gather and analyze these motives. One of the most important findings of this study is that the motives for jurisprudential vocabulary constitute a collection of processes involved in every disagreement amongst the scholars. These motives can be summed up into several key points: First, regarding the narration and knowledge about the texts; second, pertaining to the competence in terms of understanding and knowledge of its requirements; third, regarding what it does or does not incorporate of issues whose rules are not established; and fourth: a person working on Ijtihad (juristic deduction) must strive to produce valid evidence, and such person is excused for any mistake and rewarded for Ijtihad. A situation whereby the person who has not been informed of the Hadith or considers it inaccurate in a ruling and based the jurisprudence on a Shar'ia evidence is considered closest to the truth. This is because realizing the truth in all rulings is impossible. The differences in opinion amongst the scholars are neither on the basics of religion nor at the core of Shariah, but only differences in the understanding of certain religious texts and their application

understanding of the students is high while the level of appreciation is moderate. Hence, some
recommendation of improvement steps need to be taken to increase the level
(PENSION RETIREMENT IN ISLAMIC JURISPRUDENCE AND THAILAND LABOUR LAW)
A pension retirement is a type of insurance and termination indemnity if the specified
conditions are met. The worker is entitled to the sum of the money, or to the dependents, that
the pension is a sum of money due to the employee or employee after the termination of
employment or when he reaches a certain age or because of his retirement from work, and
pension also guaranteed until the death of the person, and under the Thailand Labor Law
on pensions and retirement they did not address for civil institutions or companies because
workers or employees in enterprises or companies did not have a pension and retirement
scheme. The methodology used by the researcher in the preparation of this research is under
two methodology: first the Inductive Method, under this method the researcher tried to
deduce first the texts of the Holy Quran, then the Prophetic Sunnah (Hadith), and then the
sources of other Islamic legislation that related to the subject, and the second method is the
Descriptive Analytical Approach. The researcher in this study analyzed the views of the
scholars on the subject. All statements and evidence are stated along with indications of the
evidence of relation and mental evidence that we need, and the most important findings of
the study is to say that the jurists have entered the pension after the completion of his
service, we find that the law has a defect and lack of reality on this matter, and the end of
service reward in Islamic jurisprudence, we find that the worker is entitled to reward end of
his service if the conditions are met, and the remuneration from either the State or the
company or factories paid at the end of the work, and the end of service and the beneficial
in the Thailand Labor Law has addressed under Article (118) and it depends on the workers
according to the length and time of work if they are working for the long term they will
receive the end of service reward at a large amount. May Allah Bless our Prophet
Muhammad SAW and his all families and companions. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the
