Molecular construct of Mutant Carbohydrate-Binding Domain (CBM40) from Vibrio cholerae Non-O1 Sialidase
Carbohydrate-Binding Module Family 40 (CBM40) is known as a carbohydrate-binding domain which
recognizes sialic acid as a substrate. CBM functions to concentrate the enzyme in proximity close to the
substrate for efficient hydrolysis. The elimination of this CBM from most protein domains often leads to
declined enzyme activity and efficiency. Gene encoding for family 40 CBM from Vibrio cholerae Non-O1
sialidase was cloned and successfully expressed in E. coli BL21 (DE3) strain. The CBM40 encoded 195
amino acids with 585 bp of nucleotide sequence. In the present study, CBM40 was genetically modified by
site-directed mutagenesis to form a stable CBM40 domain with a better substrate-binding affinity towards
sialic acid. With the intention to evaluate the impact of single mutagenesis of the CBM40 residue on
substrate binding affinity, in silico analysis was carried out using UCSF Chimera. Mutation of Thr200 to
Asn200 was successfully performed using the Quik Change II Site-Directed Mutagenesis Kit (Agilent). The
results gained by in silico analysis revealed that the affinity of mutant CBM40 was higher than wild type
CBM40 due to increases of three hydrogen binding sites with sialic acid
A study of English literacy implementation challenges among primary school teachers in Kelantan, Malaysia
The implementation of LINUS program has been creating the challenges among schoolteachers,
especially primary school. The challenges faced by these English Literacy teachers receive less attention
from the Ministry of Education Malaysia. In achieving the Key Performance Indicators, the Ministry's
program has created its challenges for these teachers. They must pay attention to the programs carried
out and achieve the KPIs that have assigned. The Literacy and Numeracy Program (LINUS) in primary
schools require students to master 12 constructs during screening. For English subjects, particularly the
teachers who conduct this screening are optional teachers and non-optional teachers. It causes
problems for these teachers to face students who have multiple abilities in the same classroom. The
present study seeks to identify teachers' challenges in implementing English Literacy in primary
schools. For achieving the objectives of the study, literature analysis has been selected and applied.
This study found that two main factors challenge teachers in implementing English Literacy based on
the analysis results. The first factor is teachers' challenge in the best management and planning to
improve LINUS programs' achievement. The second factor is teacher effectiveness. It is because the
effectiveness of teachers will improve the teaching performance and academic achievement of
students. The MOE should give both factors attention to enhance the achievement of English Literacy in
the future
A comparative study of ebay and amazon electronic commerce platforms
The key target of this documentation is to study and compare e-commerce platforms
between e-Bay and Amazon. While Amazon.com gained more promotions and
underlying exposure to web-based businesses, eBay has secretly built inventories that are
truly Internet-friendly. The research used an analytical method to find the difference
between these two platforms. Initially, Amazon was only trying to reproduce a list of
action plans on the web. The innovation may be inventive, but the design of the action is
certainly not. Once again, eBay has a great idea of the Internet network and has
empowered supply and demand on the web with incredible outcomes. The sales position
is the winner. Besides, eBay clearly shows that the benefits do not need to be in the idea
of development - a dispute that Bezos never made. Amazon initially centered around
BN.com as a competitor. After a while, Amazon saw eBay as a competitor. The underlying
attack was a tremendous disappointment. Currently, Amazon is endeavoring to contend
with eBay by driving sales and consolidating its partner programs
The benefit and impact of e-commerce in tourism enterprises
It is generally accepted that the advancement of information and communication technology (ICT) has
contributed to the exponential growth of the electronic marketplace. ICT, especially the internet, is
believed to be the most cost-effective tool to help brick and mortar companies gain greater markets
and the opportunity to compete with other competitive organizations in attracting consumers to their
goods, services and knowledge with the strong waves of globalization and liberalization around the
world. Nowadays, technology is developing and making our world borderless and infinite. E -
commerce is one of the innovations that is transforming the demand for businesses. Electronic
commerce ( e - commerce ) is considered to be an effective method for promoting, selling and
incorporating online services that can play an important role in customer recognition, acquisition and
maintenance. Through the e - commerce site, people can also promote services, replacing the
conventional process, which is cheaper and more efficient. There is a set of effective organizational and
external organizational variables in e - commerce that should be taken into consideration. The aim of
this study is to suggest an e - commerce solution that can solve the problem for tourism companies.
The paper focuses on Malaysia's tourism industry and focuses only on the angle of e - commerce

Evaluation of chinese electronic enterprise from business and customers perspectives
The evaluation of companies in the era of modern technologies is due to how and to what extent
these companies use such technologies. Provided that modern technologies are dealt with in all
aspects of the company, internally and externally. Also, the first company to provide market data and
information for free to all shoppers and visitors to its online platform around the world is the Alibaba
Group. Alibaba also has its own mission of making the process of buying or marketing everything in
the world uncomplicated for everyone, but specifically to introduce Chinese business to the people
of the world serving China's vision of conquering the world with its products. Alibaba Group revenues
are rising as it reaches more demand than its opponent in the global market. Besides that, the Alibaba
Group communication system and how the business connects with the retailer is very interesting.
Their business approach has made them famous and distinguished in Asia. Internationally, it is
important for Alibaba to gain a higher connection to join well-known western brands, especially luxury
and luxury brands, due to the unfulfilled requirements among Chinese customers for the brand that
cannot be reached in China. So, it is also possible for Alibaba to be a lucrative brand for retailers around
the world to sell their products and as the world grows, that could also be for the Business to
Business (B2B) or Customer to Customer (C2C) marketplace
Blockchain as a decentralized communication tool for sustainable development

efficient and secure manner. The highlight of the paper is the anticipated future use of blockchain
networks as a communication tool in every business and digital economy for a safe and
sustainable development, while presenting its advantages and limitations that have been confirmed
based on the experiences of various experts. Moreover, the article provides recommendations for the
use of blockchain to greatly complicate its identification in future communications. The paper also
concludes that the use of the blockchain system could be beneficial and enhance future
communications and digital technologies
Characteristics of physical environment in Arabic classroom: A preliminary study in Malaysian public universities
This study discusses the characteristics of the physical environment in the classroom at Malaysian public
universities. The study of the physical environment is essential because the mastery of Arabic learners is
crucial. Research is usually done only on aspects of teaching and learning. While aspects of the environment
are rarely found, therefore, this study will describe the characteristics of the physical environment
conducive to teaching and learning in the classroom at Malaysian public universities. A total of 494 students
from eight Malaysian public universities responded to the questionnaire distributed. This study uses
descriptive quantitative research methods. The instruments are composed of four structures, namely
furniture and equipment, lighting, technology and air quality indoors. The researcher uses the Statistical
Package for Social Science (SPSS-22) software for factor analysis ( EFA), and factor validation analysis
(CFA). The result found that the nature of the physical learning environment in the Arabic classroom has
been interpreted from the analysis of the perceptual score obtained. Although students at public universities
in Malaysia regard the Arabic language learning atmosphere in this classroom favourably, they wish to
enhance the real learning experience in the classroom in all four constructs
Sweet drinks consumption in relation to body weight status among Malaysian adults during the COVID-19 pandemic
Objective Implementation of standard protocols for COVID-19 management in Malaysia announce by the Minister of Health may bring impact on citizens' lives, especially on drinking habits and daily activities. This study aimed to determine the association between intake of sweet drinks consumption and body weight status among Malaysian adults during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Methodology This cross-sectional study used a convenience sampling method based on the individuals' willingness to participate. Respondents aged 18 to 59 years old were included in the study. The questionnaire consists of sociodemographic, dietary practice, and body weight status. Self-reported weight and height were recorded, and body mass index (BMI) was calculated. The data were collected using the Google Form platform prepared in English and Malay language. The relationship between sweet drinks consumption and BMI categories were determined using simple logistic regression.
Results & Discussion A total of 705 participants (80.7% female, 19.3% male) from each state in Malaysia completed the questionnaire. The mean age of the respondents is 30.0 (11.0). The participants' mean height, weight, and BMI were 159.7 (8.3) cm, 63.4 (16.4) kg, and 24.9 (6.3) kg/m2, respectively. Findings showed that coffee and tea intake with added sugar, sweetened condensed milk and sweetened creamer, chocolate and malted beverages with added sugar and sweetened condensed milk, pre-mixed drinks intake, and carbonated drinks were not associated with BMI. Chocolate and malted beverage with powdered creamer (p= 0.008) and honey (p= 0.027) and non-carbonated drinks (p= 0.027) were found to have a significant association with BMI.
Conclusion This study discovered that the global pandemic has an effect on the consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages intake and body weight status among Malaysian adults during the COVID-19 quarantine policies. However, since the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing, our findings must be reviewed and explored in a larger population in the future
Association between sleep quality and body weight status in adults: A narrative review
Introduction: Body weight status, viewed as a Body Mass Index (BMI), is a proven and accurate body fat status measure for general health designation. BMI acts as a predictive tool of disease; as BMI rises, so does some diseases' risk. A wide variety of negative health impacts of insufficient sleep, such as the risk of obesity, diabetes, cerebrovascular disorders, musculoskeletal diseases, and metabolic syndrome, have also been correlated. Obesity, particularly overweight among adults, is approaching epidemic proportions worldwide, while sleep quality has dramatically impacted both individuals and their society. Objective: This review aims to highlight the assessment of body weight status and sleep quality, summaries the recent literature, and provides an overview of the association between sleep quality and body weight status among the adult population. Methodology: Studies on sleep and BMI were reviewed, and findings were used to develop a link between sleep quality and body weight status. This paper offers a current review of the literature on the association between sleep quality and body weight status in adults. Results: This review discusses contradictory literature showing that shorter and longer sleep duration is associated with obesity. However, in most subjects with shorter sleep duration, there was a higher BMI trend than those who slept more. This is due to shorter sleep duration was correlated with enhanced ghrelin and decreased leptin. Low sleep quality was significantly correlated with severe obesity in male and female subgroups. Conclusion: There is an association between sleep quality and body weight status. More research is recommended to examine the impacts of lifestyle intervention on sleep quality improvement. Better health is associated with longer and sufficient duration of sleep. Therefore, it is of great significance to enhance the public awareness of their sleep quality on body weight status
Impression management strategies employed by former Muslims on social media
This article aims to provide insights into the impression management strategies employed by
Malaysian former-Muslims in their postings on social media. Data was generated from extended
observation of their postings for 10 months from July 2019 to April 2020. A total of 294 relevant
postings were gathered and analyzed thematically using impression management strategies by [1] and
[2] as an analytic framework. The analysis revealed that supplication emerges as the primary strategy
employed by the former Muslims, followed by self-promotion, exemplification, and ingratiation. The
study argues that the former Muslims' social media postings are not a mere expression of interests,
experiences, or criticism of the religion; instead, these postings serve as a means of negotiating
impression of them; and as a collaborative attempt of building their new self-image
