The Effect of Competition Strategies in Influencing Volleyball Performance
In this chapter, we examine the importance of key competitive psychological strategic elements that could be
used to identify high- performance players in elite indoor men volleyball tournaments. It is demonstrated that a
set of competitional psychological strategic elements , namely self-talk, activation, imagery, emotion control,
automaticity, relaxation, goal setting, as well as negative thinking, are essential in determining performance and
consequently serve as the indicators that significantly favour high performance in the elite volleyball game. In
addition, it was demonstrated that a high classification accuracy in discerning the class, i.e. the performance of the
players, could be attained via the k-nearest neighbours classifier. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to

Role of imf lending preconditions in nigeria
Nigerian government was seeking help from the IMF , because of which the economy has deteriorated
considerably as the Institution recommended some structural conditions before the country is
supported which was proclaimed as a panacea for solving the development problem within the
country. Therefore, the aim of this study was to seek whether the policies contribute to solving the
development problems Nigeria is facing. The study utilized Neoliberalism as conceptual framework,
using a qualitative research approach, the data were obtained using an in -depth interviews. With the
assistance of Qualitative Data Analysis software, NVivo 12 for Microsoft Windows, the collected data
was analyzed using content and thematic analysis. The results indicate that the policies prescribed by
the IMF are in place to promote Nigeria 's socio-economic prosperity. Some of the policies
prescribed by the IMF include deregulation, privatization, removal of subsidies, currency devaluation
and trade liberalization. The study also revealed that over the years, IMF policies have contributed and
impeded Nigerian economic growth tremendously. The study advises that the government should
formulate plans and initiatives to cushion the detrimental effects of any policies that can be directly or
indirectly enforced. This will guarantee that the country is not politically or financially fully
destabilized
Airflow and thermal analysis of fresh produce packaging system using open-source computational fluid dynamics tool.
Throughout the food industry, packaging development and optimum packaging design for
transporting perishable food goods and storing fresh produce can be challenging and tedious
tasks. It is crucial to maintain a specific temperature and airflow within the packaging system
of the perishable food product during storage or transportation to avoid quality degradation.
Preparation of packaging design test requires much complex work from the initial concept,
physical prototype, and testing process and until final packaging solution to meet the required
conditions. Nowadays, with the help of simulation tools such as computational fluid dynamics
(CFD) software, weeks or months of physical testing can be replaced by hours or even minutes
of a simulation run. This study will showcase a simulation work related to the food packaging
design solution using open source CFD software, OpenFOAM. For this case, the airflow and
thermal analysis for the ventilated packaging container for fresh fruits is investigated. This
work aims to present a CFD model to predict airflow and temperature distribution profiles in
ventilated packaging systems within the packaging container of fresh fruits. The simulation
runs are performed under different air inlet flow and different ventilation diameter holes. Based
on the preliminary result, the airflow distribution within the packaging box develops an uneven
temperature profile. The simulation approach will help us consider the optimal ventilation
configuration for proper ventilation efficiency by changing the ventilation position or modifying
the ventilation hole design
The role of imf prescribed policies in supporting socio economic development in nigeria
The study investigates the role of IMF in supporting socio - economic development of Nigeria .
Primary data were collected via a semi-structured interview schedule and administered via the
Purposive Sampling Technique. Analysis was conducted through the use of Content Analysis for clarity
and better understanding. The study revealed that the IMF policies have negatively affected the
economy and increases the levels of poverty and unemployment which also have direct adverse effect
on the living standards of the people in the Country. The study, therefore, recommends that the
federal government of Nigeria should properly device a strategy that will help in assessing and
identifying any IMF policy that may have a negative effect before implementing it and should also
provide possible alternative solutions that would raise the standards of living of its citizens

A survey on product promotion via e-commerce platforms - case study in Malaysia
A survey by Malaysian Communication and
Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has shown that Internet
users in Malaysia has increased up to 88.7% in year 2020
compared to 76.9% in year 2016 which is quite high increase
in percentage. The pervasive use of smartphones and
computers nowadays as well as the availability of high-speed
Internet access has brought a new way of promoting
products. E-commerce is a buy and sell system that can be
accessed globally around the world. This system can provide
efficient strategies for promoting products and services. It is
widely agreed that even small enhancements in promotion
techniques can increase the profitability of any e-commerce
system. In this paper, a research has been conducted to study
methods to enhance product promotion among Malaysians.
The study investigates through a survey the factors affecting
users’ WTP (willing-to-pay) during performing e-commerce
transaction as well as factors what attract/repel them more.
To achieve the study aim, a group of 385 respondents
throughout Malaysia have been involved in this research
through questionnaire study. Detailed analysis has been
introduced to clarify the results. The study has identified the
top e-commerce platforms that are used by Malaysians to
execute product promotion. The results show that
promotion through e-commerce platforms could increase
profitability and help businesses to expand rapidly. This is
due to the fast market penetration of online promoting
compared to conventional one
Whole genome sequencing of microbial pathogens: reading from the book of Acinetobacter (Malaysian Edition)
Acinetobacter baumannii is a Gram-negative nosocomial pathogen of concern due to its unique
ability to acquire and develop resistance to all classes of antimicrobials. The World Health
Organization (WHO) has even listed carbapenem-resistant A. baumannii as a top priority
pathogen in urgent need of new antimicrobials. We have carried out whole genome sequencing
of A. baumannii along with non-baumannii Acinetobacter isolates obtained from the main
tertiary hospital in Terengganu, Malaysia, over a period of five years (2011 – 2016). Majority of
the Terengganu Acinetobacter hospital isolates were A. baumannii and WGS showed that the
multidrug resistant Global Clone 2 (GC2) lineage of A. baumannii was endemic in the
Terengganu hospital in 2011 – 2012 but that has been supplanted by a variety of other clones in
2015 – 2016. Our “Reading from the book of Acinetobacter” also led to the discovery of a large
ca. 170 kb potentially transmissible plasmid that encode the New Delhi metallo-β-lactamase-1
(NDM-1) and OXA-58 carbapenemase along with a host of other resistance genes in a clinical
isolate of A. baumannii and A. nosocomialis. Sequence analysis indicated that this plasmid was
derived from a cointegration of two separate plasmids that were reported from a clinical isolate
of A. pittii from Perak. The presence of such plasmids encoding resistance to multiple
antimicrobials warrants vigilance as its spread to susceptible strains would lead to increasing
incidence of antimicrobial resistance
The future of e-commerce in the publishing industry
In comparison to conventional book-printed content, electronic " publishing "has allowed users to
import files to either a personal computer or an e -book reader to read text in a digital format.
Reduced printing costs and reduced time to market by streamlined drafting, proofing, and printing
methods are the benefits of the publishing industry over the conventional printed book (p-book). It
prevents binding, distribution and shipping. The intent of this paper is to explore the strategic use of e
- commerce in the transformation of the publishing industry . The first part of the paper discusses
the strategic use of e - commerce /Web-Based Business in the transition from a single distribution
channel mass producer of printed books to a multiple distribution channel that will include e -books
and print on demand technology in the publishing industry . Emphasis is put on management
techniques in the global marketplace for the use of emerging information technologies. The second section of this paper addresses the transfer in competitive influence between the different levels of
the supply chain of the publishing industry , including the latest trends in electronic publishing
from the stakeholders' point of view. Expected to serve as the base for development within the
digitized print industry . As e - publishing becomes popular and moves towards maturity, to allow a
"mainstream"status, common standards must emerge and combine
