What Can We Know of the Inner Relations among Members of the Trinity?

    No full text
This chapter is part of a larger work addressing questions about the Trinity gleaned from contemporary debates in the SDA church over the Trinity. In particular, it sees to biblically identify and limit what we can know about the Immanent perspective of the Trinity - what their inner relations are. This is in contrast to an Economic View of the Trinity which views the Triune Gohead through the lens of how each relates to us in the economy of salvation. This chapter also briefly gives biblical critiques of the Mormon and Jehovah\u27s Witnesses views of the Godhead, as well as a brief engagement and biblical critique of Lynn Marie Tonstad\u27s queer approach to the Trinity

    Exploring Biblical Foundations in Biology

Biologists have one of the most challenging areas of study due to the breadth of topics. Biology literally encompasses all life. Since life is based on chemical principles, which in turn are based on physical laws, we need to understand this panorama of science. Because academia in the US has pigeon-holed so much of our education, students are often unable to see the true integration of all aspects of life, resulting in a warped understanding of the interrelated complexity of our God’s creation. It is our duty to show how this intertwining of science and faith more fully represents God’s fullness in our classes. Worldview is the basis of our perceptions, and it influences how we see things. We have to be aware of the blurring that sin has cast over nature. Despite sin, God can be seen in so many different ways. Some examples include the Fibonacci numbers, the Urey-Miler experiment, the Homeobox genes, and both microbiology and stem cell function. The incredible complexity we see in the nucleus, in DNA, RNA, and ribosomes strengthens our appreciation. The biochemical reactions of respiration and genetic activity elicit biblical comparisons

PHISHFINDER: A MULTIPRONGED PHISHING DETECTOR PLUGIN FOR CHROMIUM BROWSERS

    No full text
Phishing attacks and malicious URLs continue to pose significant threats to internet users, exploiting both technical and human vulnerabilities. While numerous standalone tools exist to detect and block such threats, each has limitations in detection accuracy and user accessibility. This project presents PhishFinder, a Chromium-based browser extension that integrates multiple malware detection APIs into a unified, user-friendly platform. By combining the strengths of tools such as VirusTotal, Google Safe Browsing, and local WHOIS and SSL certification validation, the extension provides real-time, layered protection against harmful URLs without requiring advanced technical knowledge from users. The system is designed to deliver immediate feedback and block access to flagged sites while preserving user privacy through local processing and anonymization techniques. A weighted-scoring system combines evidence from each source to classify sites as safe, suspicious, or malicious. Testing used the Brave browser, a chromium based platform, on curated datasets of safe, unsafe, and ambiguous URLs. PhishFinder achieved an overall accuracy of approximately 98.8 percent, correctly classifying 100 percent of safe and unsafe URLs and 95 percent of ambiguous URLs once VirusTotal had incorporated prior submissions. Performance analysis showed a 2.95 second average latency in serial execution and 0.28 seconds in parallel execution representing a 90 percent reduction in response time with identical accuracy. Fifteen user participants evaluated the system and reported high usability, with over 90 percent describing the extension as intuitive and non-intrusive. These results confirm that a multi-sourced, AI-enhanced browser-level approach can substantially improve phishing detection accuracy and speed while maintaining privacy and accessibility

After that the end will come, when he will turn the Kingdom over to God the Father, having destroyed every ruler and authority and power. For Christ must reign until he humbles all his enemies beneath his feet. And the last enemy to be destroyed is death. For the Scriptures say, “God has put all things under his authority, 1 Corinthians 15:24-27, NLT
