Dyrektywy sprawnego działania zawarł w swojej koncepcji gospodarki wolnorynkowej. Był przekonany, że jego pomysły, w szczególności dyrektywy praktyczne, mogą być twórczo zastosowanie w Księstwie Warszawskim.The state and public administration have a duty to pursue a lot of important aims and tasks. Public institutions ought to be efficient. Political and legal thought gives some hints on how to govern effectively. One of some interesting ideas was put forward by the Polish thinker Wawrzyniec Surowiecki at the beginning of the 19th century. Physical activity and substance use among adolescents - case study
Get PDFIntroduction. The problem of drug use among adolescents in the form of experimentation, abuse and addiction, is becoming more and more popular and its character still takes on new forms. Taking into account various changes typical of adolescence period, a group of teenagers are particularly vulnerable to find themselves in a group of people using drugs. Both theorists and practitioners are seeking effective forms of assistance to those who, for various reasons, reached for drugs. Aim. The aim of this study is to show the importance of physical activity in the treatment of addiction to psychoactive substances by the presentation of a case study adolescent for whom, the therapy, as well as physical activity, proved to be helpful in the recovery process. Material and Methods. The results achieved through a literature review and an interview as well as observation of the patient. Psychometric methods have also been used. Results. Research shows that regular physical activity is not correlated with substance use. The case study presents a person, who harmfully used marijuana with a high level of personal competence and a moderate level of self-efficacy, low levels of neuroticism and strategies for coping with stress through action and seeking support. Conclusions. The practice of sport, especially team sports, can generate similar psychosocial effects, which can be achieved when you are in a youth group who accepted and practiced the use of psychoactive substances. Physical activity, therefore, in combination with therapy motivating a change in behavior, may be a way to free oneself from dependence on psychoactive substances.Wprowadzenie. Problem używania substancji psychoaktywnych w formie eksperymentowania, nadużywania czy uzależnienia wśród młodzieży staje się coraz bardziej powszechny, a jego charakter wciąż przybiera nowe oblicza. W związku z licznymi zmianami, jakie zachodzą w okresie dojrzewania, grupa adolescentów jest szczególnie narażona na znalezienie się w grupie osób używających. Zarówno teoretycy, jak i praktycy, poszukują efektywnych form pomocy tym, którzy z różnych powodów sięgnęli po środki odurzające. Cel pracy. Celem pracy jest ukazanie znaczenia aktywności fizycznej w kontekście używania substancji psychoaktywnych poprzez przegląd literatury w tym zakresie, jak i przedstawienie studium przypadku adolescenta, dla którego terapia, jak i aktywność fizyczna, okazały się być pomocne w procesie zdrowienia. Materiał i metoda. Uzyskane wyniki osiągnięto poprzez przegląd literatury oraz wywiad i obserwację pacjenta. Zastosowano także metody psychometryczne. Wyniki. Badania wskazują, że nieuprawianie regularnej aktywności fizycznej jest skorelowane z używaniem substancji psychoaktywnych. Studium przypadku prezentuje osobę szkodliwie używającą marihuany o wysokim poziomie kompetencji osobistych i umiarkowanym poziomie własnej skuteczności, niskim poziomie neurotyczności oraz strategiach radzenia sobie ze stresem poprzez działanie i poszukiwanie wsparcia. Wnioski. Uprawianie sportu, szczególnie dyscyplin grupowych, może generować podobne efekty psychospołeczne, jakie osiągnąć można podczas przebywania w grupie młodzieżowej, w której akceptowane i praktykowane jest używanie substancji psychoaktywnych. Aktywność fizyczna zatem, w połączeniu z terapią motywującą do zmiany zachowania, może być sposobem na uwolnienie się z zależności od substancji psychoaktywnych

Sex - Role Orientation and Readiness for Interpersonal Aggression among Males and Females
Get PDFThe study was projected in order to identify to what extend sex and sex-role orientation are connected with the readiness for aggression. Three different mechanisms of aggression were considered: emotional-impulsive (E-IR), habitual-cognitive (H-CR) and personality-immanent (P-IR). According to gender schema theory people can internalize various gender depending on the extent to which they perceive themselves as possessing stereotypically underline masculine and feminine traits. The data from 464 respondents were collected. Patterns of readiness for aggression were measured by the Readiness for Interpersonal Aggression Inventory whereas the Psychological Gender Inventory was applied to asses gender identity. The results show that the masculine compared with the feminine individuals manifested higher level of H-CR and I-IR while the reversed pattern was observed in case of E-IR. These results reflect sex differences: E-IR higher among females and H-CR and P-IR higher in males
