Philosophy as Task and Vantage-Point of Creator
No full textIn the essay, the author raises several questions concerning the problem of the creator and creating. Moreover, to make visible the problem of the relation between philosophy and the vantage-point of the creator, a philosophic-aesthetical perspective is sketched. On the one hand, philosophy is regarded as being-on-the-way and a creative task. On the other hand, the vantage-point of the creator has bearing on the creator’s way and creative task. The author is especially interested in how this vantage-point of the creator helps to understand the task of philosophy and contributes to philosophic aesthetical inquiries. He seeks to define the creator, their role, significance, and action. The author also envisages the fundamental dimension of the creator-problem. A reflection on how Nietzsche understood the creator and creating is undertaken, too. The author defines the creator as the midwife of his very self. Thus, a creator is delivered and born anew out of an artifact he called into existence by
himself. That is why the author says that the creator is “new-born.” The creator molds himself by the creative process being undertaken and continued, especially by the artifact that emerges and takes on some form. In conclusion, the essential connection between the task and the philosophical thinking is pointed out. The task embodies the thinking characterized as both creative and dynamic. It turns us towards some new, yet unknown directions, horizons, problems, instruments, etc. Philosophy both enables us to better understand the character of the task which consists in awakening the inner man, and spurs us to its realization. Philosophy broadens the significance of the task by the understanding of the sources of philosophical thinking and creation, and, consequently, of the constitution of the sense. A special appeal and weight of philosophy becomes visible in the creative character of task. The appeal to the as yet unsettled human destiny. The destiny which weighs on the scales of the philosophy, which makes the situation neatly and sharply perceptible

No full textUjściowy odcinek rzeki Brdy stanowi kluczowy fragment międzynarodowej drogi wodnej E 70. Na parametry tego odcinka szlaku wodnego negatywnie oddziałuje jednak sąsiedztwo samego miasta. Niniejszy artykuł prezentuje wyniki ostatnich badań hydromorfologicznych ujściowego odcinka rzeki Brdy. Praca jest kontynuacją rozpoczętych w 2005 roku badań pracowników Zakładu Hydrologii i Ochrony Wód IG UKW w Bydgoszczy, obecnie Katedry Rewitalizacji Dróg Wodnych, mających na celu rewitalizację funkcji żeglugowych Bydgoskiego Węzła Wodnego. Pierwszym etapem badań było wskazanie głównych źródeł zanieczyszczeń wód i osadów Kanału Bydgoskiego (Habel, Makarewicz 2006). W kolejnych latach, w oparciu o materiały archiwalne i własne pomiary terenowe określono mechanizmy, przyczyny i tempo zamulania miejskiego odcinka koryta Kanału (Babiński, Habel, Szumińska 2008). Podstawowym zagadnieniem związanym z problematyką niniejszej pracy jest bierne prawo wyborcze, czyli wymagania stawiane kandydatom pretendującym na urząd głowy państwa. Z kolei ograniczenia tegoż prawa mają niejako chronić najwyższy urząd w państwie. Kluczowe znaczenie mają tu procedury ściśle związane z procesem głosowania. Można powiedzieć, że ich celem jest rzetelne i uczciwe przeprowadzenie wyboru głowy państwa. Przy analizie tematu niniejszego artykułu należy zwrócić szczególna uwagę na znaczenie przysięgi prezydenckiej, która daje możliwość rozpoczęcia urzędowania. Istotne są także przyczyny wygaśnięcia mandatu, ponieważ od ich wystąpienia zależy potrzeba zarządzenia ponownych
wyborów. Zagadnienie opisane w przedstawionym artykule jest tylko niewielką częścią analizy wszystkich kwestii związanych z funkcjonowaniem urzędu Prezydenta RP.The subject of the paper is the procedure concerning election of the President of the Polish
Republic. The basic issue related to the problems discussed in this paper are passive electoral rights, or requirements for candidates pretending to the office of the head of state. In turn, limitations of these rights are expected to protect the highest office in the state. Of crucial importance here are the procedures strictly associated with the process of voting. You can say that their aim is to conduct selection of the head of state in a reliable and honest way. When analyzing the subject of this paper, particular attention should be paid to the importance of the presidential oath which gives the President the possibility of starting his office. Causes of expiry of the presidential mandate are also significant because on their occurrence depends the necessity to order new elections. The problem described in the presented paper is only a small part of the analysis of all issues related to the functioning of the office of the President of the Polish Republic

Get PDFCelem analizy jest określenie specyfiki terytorialnych nierówności w poziomie czasu trwania życia w Europie (przy jednoczesnym zwróceniu uwagi na tempo i kierunek zachodzących w obrębie tego parametru zmian) oraz sięgnięcie po próbę objaśnienia stwierdzonych prawidłowości poprzez przeprowadzenie oceny związku między czasem trwania życia (od momentu narodzin) a sekwencją głównych czynników ryzyka ustaloną na podstawie struktury DALY. Uzyskane wyniki wskazują na: 1) występowanie istotnych prawidłowości przestrzennych w rozkładzie obu elementów; 2) istnienie związku między rangą wiodących składowych DALY a długością życia; 3) potwierdzenie znaczenia uwarunkowań geopolitycznych.The aim of the paper is to show the specific of spatial variation in the life expectancy in Europe (taking into the consideration rate and direction of changes) and explain the regularity between life expectancy and factors of risk based on DALY structure. The results of research show that 1) there are spatial regularity between both elements; 2) there is the connection between the rang of DALY elements and life expectancy; 3) the role of geopolitical conditions is very stron
