Ms. Nichols is a graduate student at EIU. She will be presenting on using comic books for instruction in English Language Arts classes at the high school level. By using comic book versions of classic works by Shakespeare and Homer, students can improve their literary analysis, comprehend literary themes, and visualize stories from various perspectives. These enhanced skill sets can then be applied to further academic and career goals
