Tras hacer un recorrido por el uso del italiano e Italia, el español y España en la amplia producción de Grassi, y analizar la proyección nacional e internacional de su obra, se expondrán algunas reflexiones conclusivas en las que se considerará si la condición de mujer de origen y familia italiana de la autora fue esencial en la recepción de su obra en España, o si, por el contrario, tuvo que renunciar a exteriorizar este contexto para que la obra tuviese una mayor acogida

No full textThis dataset is part of the larger research project named FLO, an investigation into transcultural communicative strategies characterizing informal communication in the European communities of digital nomads. These dataset includes the results from the extended pilot study of the questionnaire 'Where's your language at?', an online survey aimed at investigating linguistic background, attitudes and behaviours of digital nomads.
The data have been collected in the framework of a Ph.D. research at the Department of Interpreting and Translation at the University of Bologna, by Novella Tedesco, supervised by prof. Silvia Bernardini and prof. Cristiana Cervini (https://www.thenomadlinguist.eu/flo/). Get PDFGli strumenti di corredo archivistici in LOD sono spesso solo parzialmente capaci di esprimere il vero potenziale informativo dei dati, a causa della molteplicità di campi non strutturati presenti nelle descrizioni dei complessi documentari. La presenza di numerose sezioni literal, ovvero a testo pieno, limita da un lato la possibilità di interrogazioni a base semantica e dall’altro non consente l’apertura ai numerosi contesti latenti che tali porzioni di testo non strutturato veicolano. Si intende allora qui presentare una metodologia per acquisire nuova conoscenza dai dati, aprendoli al dialogo con nuovi contesti impliciti. A questo scopo, si è valutato quanto possano essere utili alcuni tool ad oggi disponibili per acquisire e restituire informazione strutturata rispetto alle descrizioni archivistiche. Attraverso un caso di studio del Sistema Archivistico Nazionale in LOD si sono analizzate le potenzialità di TINT, FRED e di ChatGPT nell'estrarre informazione morfosintattica, lessicale o semantica dai dati archivistici, riflettendo al contempo sulla possibilità di far dialogare il grafo di conoscenza nativo e il grafo risultante dall’analisi, e documentando gli atti interpretativi emersi

Elections and Political Polarisation: Challenges for Environmental Agreements
Get PDFThis paper examines the role of domestic elections and political polarisation in shaping international environmental agreements and how electoral dynamics may explain the limited success of current climate cooperation. I focus on two key factors: the impact of domestic electoral pressure on international policy decisions and the mismatch between short election cycles and long-term treaty commitments. Using a 4-stage game modelling a bilateral environmental agreement, I analyse how incumbents strategically balance policy preferences with reelection prospects. Results show that while a green incumbent is often forced to temper their ambitions, a brown incumbent faces fewer electoral constraints, explaining why stringent policies are harder to achieve. Nonetheless, electoral pressure can moderate policies, producing outcomes more aligned with the preferences of the median voter. Finally, I discuss how political polarisation, particularly in two party systems, adds complexity to international cooperation on global public goods
