No full textIl contributo analizza possibilità e limiti della Tecnica dell’Incidente Critico (TIC) impiegata in precisi contesti di ricerca diretti a studiare la riflessività nei processi formativi. A partire dalla descrizione dei principi fondamentali e dei possibili utilizzi della tecnica, esso ha lo scopo di esaminare le caratteristiche di questo approccio all’interno di tre diversi percorsi di ricerca empirica incentrati sull’idea che la riflessività possa incidere sull’accrescimento delle competenze dei soggetti, poiché concordemente concepita dalla letteratura come un importante mezzo di apprendimento, come capacità di riconoscere, gestire e sfruttare il sapere che deriva dall’esperienza e come concreta possibilità per colmare il gap tra teoria e pratica, che permette di affrontare incertezza, ambiguità e cambiamento e sviluppare consapevolezza critica

No full textLa professionalità docente risulta oggi coinvolta in un processo di trasformazione che richiede, accanto all’acquisizione di nuove competenze, la libertà/capacità di attivazione dell'azione professionale. Il progetto di ricerca indaga la correlazione esistente tra i processi di capacitazione dell’azione (agency) e lo sviluppo professionale degli insegnanti prescolastici. L'indagine quantitativa tramite questionari osservativi identifica le criticità esistenti entro le competenze professionali dichiarate, a cui segue un'indagine qualitativa nei contesti di pratica per esplicitare le condizioni di capacitazione su cui progettare un piano di sviluppo e auto-formazione dell'agency. I risultati richiamano l'importanza dei contesti d’apprendimento allargati e delle dimensioni di conversione sulla formazione dell'identità professionale come sviluppo dei processi di capacitazione. Questo avvia alla definizione di nuove politiche di formazione della professionalità docente capaci di affermare la nuova centralità dell’azione individuale sulla costruzione dei processi educativi
Playfulness. Criticità di un costrutto e della sua misurazione nel caso della disabilità
No full textLo studio correlazionale riporta alcuni risultati del progetto GioDi (2015-2016), in cui si è esplorato l’uso ludico di cinque giocattoli robotici del mercato comune con sette bambini con disabilità motoria (DM), che possono esperire limitazioni nel gioco. La Playfulness (Skard e Bundy, 2008) permette di distinguere attività ludiche da attività “ludiformi” (Visalberghi, 1958) che emergono quando il gioco è usato a fini riabilitativi o educativi, invece che “per il piacere del gioco”. Nello studio, i punteggi di Playfulness sono risultati alti: i robot hanno permesso di esperire attività ludiche piacevoli e coinvolgenti per i bambini; tuttavia, il ruolo di scaffolding dei partner di gioco, l’accessibilità e l’usabilità dei robot e dei contesti sono risultati aspetti cruciali. Saranno discussi: la capacità dei giocattoli di sollecitare attività ludiche playful con i bambini in interazione con adulti-scaffolder; il costrutto di Playfulness e il Test of Playfulness, utilizzato per la sua valutazione

No full textThis report will analyse the relationship between smart cities and economic resilience at city level. The conceptual evolution of the ‘smart city’ is discussed in detail in Work Package 4.1. Furthermore, a new index of ‘smartness’, which provided a measure of the extent to which a city is smart, was constructed in Work Package 4.1 using Stochastic Multicriteria Acceptability Analysis (SMAA) at city level. The index considered both objective measures and citizens’ perceptions of key dimensions offering value in assessing ‘smartness’ in city projects and policies. Building on the work conducted in Work Package 4.1, this report focuses on smartness (the creation and use of knowledge) and the potential link with the resilience at city level

No full textThis summary report has been created with the objective of supporting the EU in its pursuit of enhancing communication efforts. More specifically, it provides an overview of the results of an online survey conducted between September and October 2017 among key actors in the field of communicating EU regional Cohesion Policy (therefore mainly, but not exclusively among so-called Managing Authorities).
The survey conducted has aimed at consolidating and deepening our understanding of three specific elements concerning the communication of policies, namely: a) perceptions of successful Cohesion Policy communication, b) assistance provided by the European Union to local communicators, and c) the communication strategy chosen by local communicators to convey Cohesion Policy. These elements have been defined on the basis of prior in-depth focus groups and semi-structured interviews with regional Cohesion Policy practitioners (see D3.1 ‘Qualitative report on the impact and effectiveness of communication strategies from the semi structures interviews with cohesion policy practitioners’ of the same Working Package) and are discussed in relation to the respective evidence in the following
Using Photos in Pedagogical and Intercultural Research with Children. Images and Research: Between Sense and Reality
No full textThe international scientific literature increasingly highlights the theoretical and applicative differences between research with/on adults and research with/on children and videos, photographs and drawings are highly recommended. When a researcher chooses to use images during his/her research process, there are several ontological and epistemological problems. This paper presents some critical reflections about the use of photographs in a pedagogical and intercultural research with children, trying to focus on the potentials and limitations of this technique. A methodological instrument could also become a facilitator of intercultural education when, observing the same images, children could express different and similar perspectives

PERCEIVE project - Deliverable D4.5 "Report on the comparative analysis of experts' and citizens' perceptions and views"
Get PDFThis report is a comparative analysis of nine regional case-studies selected in our project, based on original data collected through the PERCEIVE field survey that was conducted during the summer of 2017 and on the reports on regional case studies written by Perceive’s partners. Each report was based on the analysis of the focus group’s section that addresses the assessment of Cohesion Policy.
The general objective of this report is to synthesize the citizens’ and practicioners’ views on EU Cohesion Policy and to compare them in order to understand if there are different perceptions of this policy and its implementation. For each region included in the study, the identification of the relevant regional needs are considered, followed by an assessment of the EU policy effectiveness in responding to the revealed issues. Both have been pursued at the level of citizens and of Cohesion Policy practitioners, and are followed by a comparative analysis that helps to understand whether the EU Cohesion Policy is perceived and understood by citizens in the same way as it has been conceived by practitioners.
The comparative analysis helped shed light on the convergence and divergence points between citizens and experts with regard to the public intervention needs through Cohesion Policy and in the evaluation of the effectiveness of these interventions, thus contributing to a better understanding of the general perception of the EU by the large public
Regulating the tragedy of commons: nonlinear feedback solutions of a differential game with a dual interpretation
No full textA well established dynamic model describing the impact of oligopolistic interaction
on a renewable resource is revisited here to illustrate its dual interpretation
as a waste removal differential game. The regulatory implications
are illustrated by assuming that the public agency may control market price
and possibly also access to the commons. Two different formulations of the
managerial or CSR objective are envisaged, based on a combination of profits
and either output or the individual share of the waste stock. It is shown that
if the representative firm’s objective includes the residual waste stock, there
exists a unique regulated price driving to zero the steady state stock itself.
Hence, the present analysis delivers some useful indications concerning an
appropriate definition of the CSR objective firms should adopt
