Analisis Perubahan Garis Pantai di Pantai Lampung Selatan\ud berdasarkan Arah Angin Dominan
This Study is intended to see how far the possibility of changes in the coastline in South Lampung\ud
coastal areas. Studies located beach side location under the foot of the Rajabasa mountain. Areas of\ud
study include Canti Beach and Banding Resort. In this study, the wind data over the five years, from\ud
2007 to 2011 from Beranti used to see the dominant wind direction. Based on the wind data from\ud
Beranti station, generated the 2 dominant wind direction. Based on the dominant wind data, the wave\ud
height and period occurring in the coastal areas surrounding the location of the study are estimated.\ud
Using the data results of wave forecasting, coastline changes are simulated. Prediction analysis for the\ud
changes of coastline for 5 years, GENESIS program are used. From the results show that in studying,\ud
the possibility of changing the coastline which is quite significant.\ud

Pemodelan Curah Hujan Kumulatif Mingguan dari Data Curah\ud Hujan Stasiun Purajaya.
The goal of this research is to study the periodic and stochastic models of data series of the weekly\ud
cumulative rainfall. The study was done by using daily rainfall series with long data 25 years\ud
(1977-2001) of Purajaya station. Based on the daily rainfall series, a weekly cumulative rainfall\ud
series was calculated. The series of rainfall is assumed to be free of trend. Periodicities of\ud
periodic rainfall model of the weekly rainfall data series were presented by using 509 periodic\ud
components. Stochastic components of the weekly rainfall data are assumed as residues between\ud
the rainfall data with the periodic rainfall model. The stochastic components were calculated\ud
using the approach of autoregressive model. Stochastic Model presented in this research is using\ud
the thirth order autoregressive model. Validation between rainfall data and the periodic-\ud
stochastic rainfall model is done by calculating the correlation coefficient. For this study, the\ud
correlation coefficient between the data and the model of the weekly cumulative rainfall is 0,9999.\ud
From the results of this study can be inferred that the model of the weekly rainfall from Purajaya\ud
station gives very highly accurate approach.\ud

HISTOLOGI TESTIS MENCIT (Mus musculus L.) MUDA DAN TUA YANG DIBERI EKSTRAK LADA HITAM (Piper nigrum L)
Black pepper (Piper nigrum L.) is traditionally believed to have some benerfits. In addition to keep healthy for users. Black pepper is also known to have some antioxidant properties by capturing free radical contribute to aging process. The experiment was conducted using mice with the aim to determine the effect of black pepper on histological changes of testis and the number of spermatozoa between old and young mice group. The experiments used 20 male mice age of 4 months and 20 mice aged of 6 months. Each of the age group were divided into 4 treatment groups. Group 1 as control group, without any black pepper extract. Group 2, were given water extract of black pepper with concentration of 0.3 ppt. Group 3 were given ethanol extract of black pepper with concentration 0.3 ppt, and Group 4 were given mixture of black pepper extract either with water and ethanol with concentration of 0.3 ppt. Data were analyzed with Two-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) (with α=5%). The results showed that the extract of black pepper treated on old mice increase the amount of spermatogonia with an average of 8.16 spermatogonial celss compared with the untreated group (with cell number of 47.0) in one incision of seminiferous tubules. While the number of spermatozoa were not significantly different from among groups.\ud

Saat ini negara kita masih sangat tergantung terhadap produk alat kesehatan asal impor, dimana salah satunya adalah peralatan kesehatan ortopedik (orthopedic) implan. Peralatan kesehatan ortopedik umumnya terbuat dari material titanium dan paduannya, karena material ini mempunyai karakteristik tahan terhadap korosi bila bereaksi dengan cairan dan jaringan tubuh sehingga tidak\ud
menghasilkan sel logam beracun atau unsur-unsur yang memicu alergi pada tubuh manusia oleh karena itu logam ini dapat diterima oleh tubuh (bio-compatible). Selain itu material ini mempunyai kekuatannya tinggi serta massanya yang ringan oleh sebab itu sangat sesuai untuk menggantikan peralatan kesehatan orthopedik yang terbuat dari baja (steel) yang mempunyai kekuatan yang lebih\ud
rendah dan bobot yang berat yang membebani tulang. Akan tetapi, titanium dan paduannya juga dikenal sebagai material yang mempunyai sifat ketermesinan yang rendah (low machineabilty) atau sulit dimesin. Selama ini pembuatan peralatan kesehatan ortopedik dilakukan dengan pemesinan dengan Electron Discharge Machine (EDM) dan pahat Diamond yang mahal. Untuk menjawab kesulitan dan mahalnya pemesinan alat kesehatan ortopedik bermaterial titanium, maka pada penelitian ini diterapkan suatu metode pemesinan baru yaitu dengan penerapan sistem pahat putar modular.\ud
Pada penelitian tahun pertama (2013) diperoleh suatu model pemesinan bubut dengan pahat berputar berdasarkan metode FEM. Model ini sudah diaplikasikan dalam pengujian secara simulasi ketermesinan (machineability) material Titanium Ortopedik (Ti-6Al-4V ELI) dan AISI 1045 dalam\ud
aspek gaya dan suhu pemotongan. Hasil simulasi sudah divalidasi dengan pengujian secara eksperimen dimana hasilnya menunjukkan hasil yang relatif sesuai dengan hasil pengujian eksperimen dan perbedaan nilai (prosentase error) antara hasil pengujian simulasi dengan\ud
eksperimen relatif kecil yaitu secara umum ±10%. Oleh karena itu model simulasi ini dapat digunakan untuk pengujian atau optimasi parameter pemesinan material titanium ortopedik dengan sistem pahat putar dalam rangka rancang bangun peralatan sistem pahat putar modular.\ud

MODEL PERIODIK DAN STOKASTIK DATA PASANG SURUT JAM-JAMAN\ud DARI STASIUN TANJUNG PRIOK
The aim of this study was to compare periodic and stochastic models generated by using\ud
FFT frequencies with periodic and stochastic models generated by using astronomic\ud
frequencies. Fourier series were used to simulated periodic model, and autoregressive\ud
method was employed to simulate stochastic model. In this study, 253 dominant FFT\ud
frequencies and 9 astronomic frequencies were used as constituent frequencies to simulate periodic models. 512 hours of data were used for the model. Results of this study present that the periodic and stochastic models using FFT frequencies gave more accurate results than periodic and stochastic models using the astronomic frequencies.\ud

The Experimental Investigation of Cutting Forces and Chip Formation on Turning with Actively Driven Rotary Tool
This paper presents an experimental investigation on chip deformation of the actual turning with actively driven rotary tool. The main purpose of the present work is to make clearly the effect of tool rotational speed and its direction upon the cutting force components, and the chip formation. In order to investigate the effect of tool rotation with a wide range of speed, the cutting tool is driven by the high speed motor of main spindle machine and its rotation is controlled by NC Programmable. The components of cutting force were measured using the piezoelectric force transducers of a force ring dynamometer. Experimental results show that the tool rotational speed can lead an increase in the dynamic inclination angle so that causes the helix angle and the pitch of chip were increased. This indicates the cutting\ud
mechanics changed from the orthogonal to the oblique cutting. It was also found that the tool rotational speed has a significant effect on the cutting forces. The resultant and tangential cutting forces decrease with increasing the tool rotational speed to certain value and then constant. The resultant cutting force of rotary tool was approximately 18% lower than the resultant cutting force recorded by the cutting with a non-rotating tool. The axial force increases with an increase in tool rotational speed in a certain speed range and then constant. THE POTENTIAL USE OF THE RAILWAY AS A COAL\ud TRANSPORTATION IN THE PROVINCE OF LAMPUNG
Abstract\ud
The transport of coal using negative externalities result in truck mode including damage\ud
to roads, pollution and rising rates of accidents. The rail mode is considered an\ud
appropriate alternative due to the effects of negative externalities. Railroad also has\ud
charge of conveyance cheaper Rp 383 every ton/km whereas the truck Rp 790 every\ud
ton/km, but can not reach certain location. An alternative solution is to combine the two\ud
modes and obtained a chepaer transport costs compared to using just the truck mode. The\ud
program should also be supported with the existing traffic capacity with the construction\ud
of a double line (double track).\ud
From the calculation result needs double track for the year 2016, the station with the\ud
capacity of a small cross in built double track traffic capacity occurs an average of 2,3\ud
times more than the capacity of the existing cross-line/single track. To meet the needs of\ud
the mining company as well as the needs of the passenger train and freight for the goods\ud
of the other, each station must have an average capacity of 58 cross-line/day.\ud

Pengangkutan batubara menggunakan moda truk mengakibatkan eksternalitas negatif\ud
diantaranya kerusakan jalan, polusi dan naiknya tingkat kecelakaan. Kereta api dinilai\ud
sebagai moda alternatif yang tepat karena efek eksternalitas negatif yang lebih kecil.\ud
Kereta api juga memiliki biaya angkut yang lebih murah sebesar Rp 383 perton/km\ud
sedangkan truk Rp 790 perton/km, tetapi tidak dapat menjangkau lokasi tertentu.\ud
Alternatif solusi ialah mengkombinasikan dua moda tersebut dan didapatkan biaya angkut\ud
yang lebih murah dibandingkan hanya menggunakan moda truk. Program tersebut juga\ud
harus didukung dengan peningkatan kapasitas lintas eksisting dengan pembangunan jalur\ud
ganda (double track).\ud
Dari hasil perhitungan kebutuhan double track untuk tahun 2016, stasiun dengan\ud
kapasitas lintas yang kecil apabila dibangun double track terjadi peningkatan kapasitas\ud
lintas rata-rata sebesar 2,3 kali lipat dibandingkan kapasitas lintas jalur eksisting/jalur\ud
tunggal. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan perusahaan pertambangan serta kebutuhan lintasan\ud
untuk angkutan kereta penumpang dan barang yang lain, setiap stasiun harus memiliki\ud
rata-rata kapasitas lintas sebesar 58 lintasan/hari.\ud

ANALISIS KARAKTERISTIK LALU LINTAS LOKASI RAWAN KECELAKAAN\ud DI KOTA BANDAR LAMPUNG

Penulisan skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui inventarisasi kondisi eksisting lokasi rawan\ud
kecelakaan, mengetahui karakteristik kecelakaan dan kondisi lalu lintas di lokasi rawan kecelakaan\ud
dan menentukan perbaikan dan penanganan di lokasi rawan kecelakaan.\ud
Penelitian dilakukan di Jl. Gatot Subroto (Dari Polsek TBS s/d simpang Jl. Yos Sudarso). Hasil dari\ud
penelitian diharapkan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan lokasi rawan kecelakaan pada pihak\ud
terkait untuk mengurangi kejadian kecelakaan.\ud
Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan faktor utama penyebab kecelakaan lalu lintas pada tahun 2012\ud
ialah kesalahan pada manusia baik pengendara maupun pejalan kaki, jenis kecelakaan lalu lintas\ud
terbesar berdasarkan posisi kecelakaannya ialah tabrakan depan-samping dengan persentase\ud
sebesar 23,4%, yang didominasi oleh pengendara yang tidak tertib berlalu lintas dengan persentase\ud
sebesar 95,7 %, Tidak adanya fasilitas kelengkapan jalan seperti rambu-rambu lalu lintas,\ud
menambah tingkat penyebab kecelakaan, perhitungan geometrik Jalan Gatot Subroto sudah\ud
memenuhi standar geometrik yang di tentukan oleh Direktorat Jendral Bina Marga. Saran yang\ud
perlu disampaikan adalah perlunya pemasangan kelengkapan rambu lalu lintas pada, kondisi jalan\ud
yang gelap pada malam hari sehingga menyebabkan kurangnya jarak pandang pengendara perlu di\ud
pasang lampu penerangan jalan, perlunya penegakan hukum oleh pihak terkait kepada pengendara\ud
yang tidak memakai helm, di adakannya pengawasan rutin oleh Satuan Lalu Lintas Kepolisian\ud
Kota Bandar Lampung kepada pengendara dan memberikan sanksi hukum yang tegas kepada\ud
pengendara yang tidak disiplin Jalan Gatot Subroto.\ud
