This item came to the Preservation Lab for housing and minor conservation treatment. The book was previously rebound in a cloth covered library binding, which may be damaging to the original textblock. The textblock contains black printers ink text and engraved prints on foldouts. There is also manuscript ink in several locations of the textblock. [Advertising Cards and Leaflets of Cincinnati Businesses of the 19th Century: a Scrapbook] : Preservation Lab Treatment Report
This is a collection of advertising cards, leaflets and flyers from 19th century Cincinnati businesses. The collection advertisements are housed within a large scrapbook. The scrapbook is a dark green Buckram encapsulated binding. The advertisements are fully encapsulated within the binding, and the polyester film pages are held into the binding with four metal posts.
