"Solomon Thrifty": Joseph Ray, M.D., the Freeman's Almanac : Preservation Lab Treatment Report
This is a small album composed by Langstroth containing cut covers and pages from the 1843 Freeman’s Almanac that support Langstroth’s written theory that Solomon Thrifty’s true identity (the Almanac’s author) is Joseph Ray. This is volume fourteen of an eighteen volume set. The volumes received dry surface cleaning in preparation for digitization. Originally unhoused, a custom corrugated clamshell was constructed for long terms storage. A very fragile, detached flyleaf was carefully dry surface cleaned and placed in a protective L-sleeve, which was set inside the volume.View Catalog Record</a
Alumini Catalogue of Miami Medical College of Cincinnati : Preservation Lab Treatment Report
This is the Alumni Catalogue of Miami Medical College of Cincinnati from 1852‐1906. This book is the only copy and belongs to the Early Medical Colleges of Cincinnati Collection (WC‐35) collection from the at the Henry R. Winkler Center for the History of the Health Professions at the Health Sciences Library.
This is a full marron color textured cloth binding. There is no decoration on the covers. There is no title on the binding, only fragments of a label along the spine and upper board. The front pastedown has a handwritten inscription that reads “1532 Graduate/ including the year 1909”. There is no information on the back pastedown. There are no endsheets on the text block
Form of Application for Space : Preservation Lab Treatment Report
This is a paper form that has been folded four times to fit the small paper envelope where it was kept. The form dates to 1874 and is an application for the Cincinnati Industrial Exposition. On the verso, there is room for requesting space and providing a sketch on graphing lines with each square representing a foot. There is also a section to state the character of articles for exhibition. This came to the Lab for stabilization treatment and housing

This is a text by Drake who is a local Cincinnati native. This copy appears to be the same impression as i49068908, but may have been a separate issue. It contains lower quality paper, but contains a second fold out map. This is a poster that has been stored rolled. The poster is accompanied by an information brochure, a photograph, and business card. The photograph was rolled around the center of the poster and taped with a clear plastic pressure sensitive tape to secure the poster rolled. The business card was stored in a plastic sleeve. All items were stored together in a plastic bag tube. The poster will be stored flat in a drawer.View Catalog Record</a

Pilot rules for the western rivers and the Red River of the North : Preservation Lab Treatment Report
Pilot Rules is a printed poster that was brought to The Preservation Lab for treatment and housing. The poster is printed on a sheet of beige wove paper measuring 64 x 49 centimeters. The printing on the recto is black printing ink. The item was previously rolled in an acidic storage tube, which has caused discoloration and deterioration to the sheet.View Catalog Record</a
