    Get PDF
Construction waste materials are materials that are not used or discarded during the construction process of buildings or infrastructure. In the construction project of the Karanganyar Regency DISHUB building, there are a lot of rooms, but the available building area is not large so that many room partitions are estimated to use materials that are not suitable according to the materials purchased due to the large number of cuts with certain sizes and will produce leftover materials. The purpose of this study was to determine the materials that have the potential to become waste levels, to determine the waste cost and waste index produced by leftover materials and to identify the causes of waste material factors. From the results of the Pareto analysis, the material with the largest waste level is Iron with a waste level of 4.905%, while the largest waste cost value is Formwork with a waste cost of Rp. 10,406,482.18, and a waste index value of 0.169 m3 / m2. The waste material factor that has a major influence on the Karanganyar Regency DISHUB project is the residual category with the variables of leftover cutting material that cannot be used anymore, errors when cutting material, and leftover material due to the usage process. Respondents agreed that the three variables had the same score weighting calculation, namely 100%

Konsep Kebahagiaan Menurut Al- Imam Al-Ghazali (1058-1111 M) dan Implementasinya dalam Mengatasi Demotivasi Guru PAI

    Get PDF
Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers have a strategic role in instilling Islamic values in the school community. However, in practice, a 2022 Ministry of Education, Culture and Research survey noted that nearly 40% of teachers in Indonesia feel psychologically insecure at work, suggesting that this problem is systemic and requires special attention. Based on Herzberg's two-factor theory, demotivation arises from a combination of intrinsic and extrinsic factors, such as lack of meaning at work, lack of appreciation, inadequate pay, and a stressful work environment. These problems not only affect the quality of teaching, but also disrupt teachers' spiritual and psychological stability. Teachers who experience demotivation often feel lost, experience alienation in their profession, and have a tendency to leave the world of education. In this context, Imam Al-Ghazali's thoughts on the concept of happiness (as-sa'adah) which comes from peace of mind and closeness to Allah become very relevant to be studied as an alternative spiritual solution. This study aims to analyze the concept of happiness according to Al-Ghazali and its implementation in overcoming the demotivation of PAI teachers. This study is a qualitative research with a type of library research that utilizes various primary and secondary literature sources. The approach used is a philosophical approach, namely by exploring in depth Al-Ghazali's thoughts on the nature of happiness, and linking it to contemporary issues surrounding teacher motivation. The data analysis technique is descriptive-analytic, through the process of collecting, classifying, interpreting, and synthesizing texts. The main primary source in this research is the book Kimiya al-Sa'adah by Al-Imam Al-Ghazali, which is then dialogued with Herzberg's two-factor theory, Bertrand Russell's unhappiness thinking, and Plato's view of happiness to strengthen the analytical framework and conceptual linkages. The results showed that Al-Ghazali's thought is able to provide spiritual answers that are relevant to the problem of PAI teachers' demotivation. (1) The concept of happiness according to Al-Ghazali rests on the purification of the soul, the recognition of self and God, and the understanding of the world as a test and the afterlife as a goal. (2) The four main factors of PAI teachers' demotivation, namely emotional exhaustion, identity crisis, low financial well-being, and non-conducive work environment, can be answered through Al-Ghazali's spiritual approach. (3) The basis for solving the problem of teacher demotivation is knowledge. Knowledge is the main key in the formulation of happiness according to Al-Ghazali, because with knowledge one is able to organize the heart, recognize the nature of life, and build sustainable tranquility both in this world and in the hereafter
